Beautiful Place, a super cute castle and in excellent condition, the rooms very nice and super comfortable (the place takes you to a story) In the restaurant The attention is phenomenal and the food… Delicious!

All Perfect! We'Ve held a communion and it deserves a 10 in everything. Very especially in the treatment and service. The waiter attentive to everything, even to explain to the girl. How to cut. The. Cake. Bikain!

Small restaurant (the hotel part didn't. I know) with very well presented and tasty dishes. The enclave is a small castle very close to Gernika. What more can you ask for?

I have been on several occasions there for work and have always been treated very well. They're all very kind.

Surprise. SORPRESÓN! For My boy's birthday I gave him the romantic pack that includes dinner, night for two and breakfast. But the gift gave it to me too, we arrived and they told us that the castle was totally ours, there was no one. And They made us feel the owners.
The impeccable girls, majas, attentive and affectionate. The dinner Spectacular, each dish was at its point, perfect and to finish had the detail of putting a candle in the dessert to my boy. The room was very spacious and warm. An amazing night.
And Finally, breakfast. Mediterranean Breakfast that we do not understand as the fruit, each of it, although not out of season, were magnificent. And cakes, breads, cheeses, sausages. And he did it as my grandmother did!
Thank you Very Much for this experience, we could not have been better.

The Food they have served us, a delicious grilled meat made with charcoal. The Dessert is a two-truffle tart with incredible yogurt ice cream. Recommended 100%

If you want a special dinner in a privileged setting This is your place. The raw material is excellent, not to stop tasting the scallops or the octopus, truly delicious. The desserts, freshly made, are not left behind. A pleasure.

Hello We have been in the restaurant of el castillo arteaga last month to make a small celebration for my wedding and invited my friends to have lunch there. In first approache we went there and talked to the people on reception of the hotel a week ago and they seemed very helpful and agreed for providing our requests for lunch so we decided to make reservation for 9 people. In fact I had informed them that we might come with 10 people and they said its not a problem for them And also the people on reception told us that they put remark on our reservation in their system that we are going to celebrate a wedding and will do all necessary things. Infact we asked that if we need to talk anybody else in the hotel about our celebration and the person in the reception said that since its not a big wedding party we dont need to talked to any other person that is in charge for weddings. But all terrible things started right after we arrived the hotel/ restaurant. First they showed us the table which we wouldn't prefer because it was not in an appropriate for gathering with friends. Secondly the table was not big enough for 9 people and almost we were sharing same plates to eat because of being very stretched place and it was really disturbing. After we sat down I have noticed that the menu which we reserved and they confirmed was not given to us. It was totally diferent. So I had to go and talk to person in charge that the menu is different than we have reserved.

This is the second time we've stayed so yes, we love it. A dream of a place to stay but certainly not cheap by Spanish standards. The staff couldn't be more attentive and the rooms are amazing. OK, I'm going to be a little over-critical as it's pricey so you should expect the best. The shower arrangement above an oval bath doesn't really work as you end up with a pile of water on the floor. The restaurant food is excellent but as with all my experiences with 'fine-dining', don't expect any carbohydrate with your main course. I ordered suckling pig which was gorgeous, but bar a few scant vegetables, that's exactly all it was. The starters and desserts were filling though, so you won't leave hungry. The cold buffet breakfast was substantial but the price for additional hot options was beyond belief… 12 euros for fried eggs? Seriously? Come on guys.

It was a surprise and the truth that it was great. Treatment great.

We were eating in the restaurant on the top floor. Good food and service. The environment is beautiful. It is worth going up to take the coffee to the tower, for the view and see the spiral staircase made of wood.

The castle has a lot of charm. The breakfast good and the perfect surroundings to relax. To improve the use and lighting of common areas where to take a coffee.

After spend the summer here and see the abandoned Castle, I went back and I was shocked of what had been done here. A reconstruction spectacular, keeping the essence but mixing it with style modern. That so nice site. It is still pending to get me to sleep in a tower.

I went to a wedding. A spectacular, beautiful site. But it is not prepared for events if it is raining.

On Saturday we were having dinner and we were offered a special menu of Valentine's very full and delicious. The only small failed the indication for enter, not is easy of see and the access from the road is you can pass. Otherwise everything great.
