I liked that it looks modern. It was very clean. Library is nice. The bus to the old town is across the street. Very easy and fast. Coming home late the buses run about every 30 minutes; it is more frequent during the day.

Very nice hotel! Cool classic movie theme. The room was perfect with exeption of the hvac which couldn't be adjusted. It was too warm for me. That's why it didn't get 5 stars.

A friendly hotel with a great theme of cinema. We recommend it. Good location: The area around the hotel is good with interesting shops and you can walk to the old town in 15 minutes.

Great location. Clean hotel with cool vibe. Like the Movie theme. Introductory glass of wine was a nice touch and the rooms are spacious with great showers. Not the most comfortable bed ever but did the job. Friendly staff.

Astoria7 was a last minute find and we were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel! The level of customer service offered by staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, the location, and the dining opportunities made our stay in San Sebastián wonderful! Although not too close to the beach or old town, it is within walking distance and the fact that the staff offered towels and a carrying bag, made our beach day possible! We would stay at Astoria7 again!

Spacious and pleasantly decorated room with the motifs of a filmmaker. Spacious and well preserved bathroom. Huge and comfortable bed. Ideal location 10 minutes walk from la Concha beach. Good treatment and, to round, parking spaces and access to it quite spacious. All right; to repeat.

A less than great check in experience, staff were not that friendly or helpful. Room was nice and modern and the location was about 15 mins to the bay which was fine if you don't mind the walk. €17 per day for parking which seems a little on the high side and was not published before I booked.

Stayed at Astoria 7 twice during our trip to San Sebastian. The first time was when we just arrived after our flight from the USA. We were treated very nicely. The room, the people and the restaurant was just what we needed to get use to the new time. At the end of our trip, we went back and spent a weekend while we visited the sites. Again, everything was just wonderful. We highly recommend Astoria7 if staying in San Sebastian.

Fantastic. We have travelled with an 11 month old baby and all the attention in the hotel has been very good. Both in the hotel with in the restaurant that we have breakfasted and dined every day we have been treated great and provided even food for the baby. We will definitely be back on our trips to Donosti.

Our stay could not have been more comfortable. It was made so especially by Libero and the other 2 men at the desk after him on morning shift. I wish I could give their names but they can identify them selves. The helped me get my cell phone back after I lost it in Galateria (my spelling could be wrong) These guys did every thing possible to get me a taxi back and interpret to the woman who found it and the cab driver. They spoke little English. Astor 7 is a very comfortable and well run hotel. Thank you to these three men. They were great and saved my trip. I would have been unable to do it without them. You are well served by them and I was too.

Great hotel, inspired by the cinema. Each room is dedicated to an actor or director of the classics, tastefully and modernly decorated.
Located a stroll from La Concha Beach, attached to the Ribera del Urumea, it has its own parking, and a restaurant with a highly recommended menu.
Ideal for visiting San Sebastián and surrounding area, as it is very well connected.
The price of the rooms, which "pica" from the most basic as the season is high.

Deserved 4stars, modern, functional, everything revolves around filmmakers.

Great place, great location: close to old town and other amenities. Staff helpful and professional. Room was of good size and bed was comfortable.

Basically a nice hotel, but only three stars due to price/quality-ratio. Biggest negative comes from poor soundproofing, or design of pipelines. Noises from showering and flushing in other rooms felt like they were coming from our bathroom. As we were on holiday and tried to sleep late, this was less satisfactory. Fortunately, the soundproofing to the busy street corner outside was good. Also I feel that it is a design flaw to have a bathroom door that allows light to come through. You would not like to wake up every time your room mate goes to the toilet. Pluses were overall quality of the room, good air-con, bed and customer service. Breakfast and gym were nice to have as services. So if you get a good deal, stay here alone and wake up early yourself you would probably give this hotel almost five stars. As I was travelling with my girlfriend and tried to sleep late, I felt the quality could have been better for the price.

It is U. Hotel with a special charm. Its totally cinematographic ambience makes you feel in a peculiar universe from the first moment. The rooms are large and comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Just over half an hour's walk from the city's central almond, it is a good place to stay in the capital of Donostia.

Nice to do events. Space and attention.
In the restaurant a varied menu and very rich food.

Very high quality facilities and breakfast. Situated just 5 minutes walk to Amara station and another 10 to the old town and beach. The hotel has been cleverly done out in movie themes with Alfred Hitchcock sitting in the entrance reading a book, the lifts appearing as if you are surrounded by press photographers, all the rooms are named after movie stars, and the breakfast room is decorated with photos of film industry people eating… very thoughtfully decorated. Even the do not disturb signs use movie speak. The rooms themselves are quiet, very well maintained and have opening windows and clothes hangers that aren't attached permanently to the rails.

Clean and tidy rooms. Excellent breakfast with a good variety of options. Nice staff. Very close to the centre, it allows you to walk with a pleasant stroll along the river.

The Astoria does not make a movie: it's nice and welcoming. A well-positioned address to reach the heart of San Sebastian. Excellent value for money. A special mention for the hearty and authentic breakfast.

An interesting "chip" of the hotel are portraits of famous people who visited these apartments. Their portraits are in rooms and corridors.

Would put more stars still! Great room, same deal, breakfast too. Warm, close and quiet, and a personality that distinguishes it from any other, plus very good room rate and parking (14 €/day) more content impossible.

Modern and comfortable Hotel. Everything works. A long trip to the parking of the 4 underground and the almost 19 euros is perhaps the issue to share negative… The rest all positive.

The room was great. Breakfast in the room very good. The only thing I would change is the use of a bread other than the mold, the one they serve in the dining room is very good and I think it would be better choice for breakfast. The rest of the breakfast, varied and in its fair amount.
Although I do not drink, I was keen to use the cocktail bar.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable. The staff were excellent from the reception, bar and restaurant. The barmen also ade some great cocktails. Will definitely return.

We went to spend the weekend and to enjoy the atmosphere and the Tamborrada, with which we took a good memory, and to this we added the stay in this good hotel.
The staff is very friendly, the room is spacious and bright, the service very good and the location pretty good you can walk to the main sites of San Sebastián (Downtown and Old Town) with our experience I recommend the room and sure when Back to that city we will be staying at that hotel again. In short the experience is to recommend it to any friend.

Spent 4 days in the Basque country staying in three hotels. Best of the bunch! Nice staff lovely clean rooms. Only negatives were no real veggie options in the restaurant and for a 'Movie Themed' hotel limited DVD's and even less in English. Overall very good!

It was a best themed hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were clean and bigger then most. The staff was very good, and gave us very good suggestions for dinning. The front desk went the extra mile when I had issues with the parking meters, and helped me get the machine to work. I would stay here again.

This is a good hotel with one major drawback; very uncomfortable beds. Such a shame as this is a good hotel otherwise. Bathrooms are a good size as are the rooms. A little outside the centre of the town but an easy walk and a bus stops right outside.

It was only fitting that this venerable old cinema, set in a grand city that hosts one of Europe’s big film festivals, should fall into the hands of cinephiles. In transforming it into a gorgeous hotel, the owners have kept the spirit of film alive: you now find Alfred Hitchcock in reception, a magnificent library dedicated to the silver screen, and a different movie star in every bedroom. It’s a seriously cool place, with a groovy bar and a smart restaurant, and even if film isn’t your bag, you’ll love it here.

The apartment is very clean, very spacious, very well equipped and very well located, quiet area 15 minutes from the boulevard. Bus stops to any area of San Sebastián. The owner very friendly, has provided us with all kinds of information and directions.

The place, it's fine to be passing by, the cafeteria okay. Although they are small for the influx of users that we like to go, and limit quite the time.
A place that could expand and have more space, and at the same time more benefits for them.

A lovely hotel with a distinctive style and decor. Staff were helpful. I had a spacious room with a balcony. Clean and tastefully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had nice shower gel etc. But I would have appreciated tea/coffee making facilities.

Good hotel, clean, good service and recommended 100%. Located in the district of Amara (good area), 15 minutes walk from La Concha. The parking is OK, easy access from the hotel and spacious.

The hotel has modern, functional facilities with a theme that will delight the moviegoers. All rooms are dedicated to movie stars. We went to run the Behobia and the hotel gave us preparing a massage room that was phenomenal.
I do not put the 5 stars because in our room, facing an inner courtyard, you would hear noises.

It is a very good hotel. It doesn't lack detail. Well placed q The bus leaves you in the historic center and returns you to the hotel door. The film decoration never better said. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner for a good price in the restaurant as well as in the cafeteria. And at night have a quiet drink in the cocktail bar surrounded by your favorite actors and actresses. Do not forget to book your room with your actor or actress Q you like.

Quiet location in residential district a half hour walk from the old town. Staff at the Reception very friendly. Comfortable room new comfy bed environment. Easy Access Garage.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are very well appointed, beds and pillows comfortable and shower is awesome! Hotel lobby is beatifull, with a restaurant, pastry shop and upscale barber. Staff are very friendly and professional and eager to help. Location is great also located south side of the park offering easier access to get in and out of the center of the city. There was a wedding on a second day we arrived, which was a neat experience to watch having windows facing inside the hotel courtyard. We like to stay tidy when we travel and don't need daily room service — I like that hotel respects the privacy and nobody enters once I put the sign up. Bravo!

Hotel was outside the old part of town but it was a short drive over. It is close to the river which makes for nice walks. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious enough and modern. Did not try the main restaurant but did spend time at the cafe that is part of it. Great for a quick breakfast, happy hour or some tapas! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking is downstairs and it is not included in the fare; tight space for our big vehicle but it was doable with some patience. The price point for the stay was great. I liked the vibe of the hotel.

Excellent hotel in a superb location. Really friendly helpful staff, on our arrival they took the time to help us with maps, directions and recommendations for food. Rooms spotlessly clean and well equipped. Would not hesitate to stay here again, can't wait to return.

Our stay at the Astoria was so lovely. Our room was great. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful and your bartenders were excellent. It was such a positive experience. Thank you I will surely recommend the Astoria 7 to all of my friends. Oh and our breakfasts in the cafeteria were the best!

Clean, well-designed hotel with spacious rooms. Slightly awkward location — not much going on in the area and relatively far from the bars and tourist attractions. We received two coupons for a free drink in the hotel's bar. We each wanted a glass of wine but rather than letting us choose something from the menu (which had wines for 2-3 EUR per glass), we were only allowed to get a specific white and red. They both turned out to be absolutely disgusting and undrinkable, which is pathetic considering the plethora of good and inexpensive wine in the region. Just don't bother offering these coupons to your guests at all!

Really nice concept and the staff were amazing. The location may be a little far out for some people, but we found it useful to walk off the pintxos and wine! Breakfast choice was limited, but the orange juice was fantastic and we are still fascinated by the automated juicing machine.

Well equipped rooms, always cleaned to the highest standards. Efficient, knowledgeable, helpful reception staff with nothing being too much trouble. Slightly away from Centre but adequate bars nearby. Great food in bar and enjoyable breakfast. Highly recommended.

Rather satisfied with our stay although the French language is little spoken.
The hotel is very good at all levels. The restaurant also. Very good value for money compared to some restaurants located in the historic center! With excellent table service for meals. We eat there all the time. Very good when you do not watch the clock on vacation…

Hotel is themed very well, staff is awesome, and the food is great as well! Love to be able to walk to the old town and beaches very easily.

Third time in 2 years, handy underground car park, buses right outside to town shops etc if you don't fancy a ten minute pleasant stroll. Rooms delightful, hotel lively but not boisterous, breakfast first class and stash of films for room viewing a real treat. Good barbers right opposite for gents needing a haircut or shave, bar next door good too. Will be going again and again for sure. Staff always friendly and efficient too, top marks from us.

Great hotel a 10 minute walk from the center. Staff very friendly, smiling and helpful. Rooms very cosy, modern and clean, good comfort (mattress maybe a bit hard). Special buffet breakfast with varied, fresh and local products. We had a great time! The lounge and bar are very nice and invite you to relax!

The hotel is central, clean, equipped. Spacious and modern rooms and bathrooms.

Very clean and well kept. Cinephile theme is charming. Location could be a bit noisy as it is near bus depot. The restaurant is very good for the area.

Room are very Ikea "ish" from a design prospective. Fairly large and clean. About a 20 min walk to the beach and restaurants.

Bed was super comfy. Staff were nice. Price was good. Restaurant staff weren't that friendly, but the food was good.

The kindness and the hotel in general. A very good place to spend a weekend in couple, in the beautiful san sebastian.

Located close to the railway station and the bus terminal, but a little bit further away from the old town. The hotel is clean and the "movie" theme is reflected all over in the hotel and rooms. The breakfast buffet is only average and I would recommend to get breakfast externally in one of the many cafe bars or bakeries.

The kafe is actually really good and one of my favourite people watching spots. Just one problem no where to charge my computer.

I travel a lot and it's hard to find hotels, especially city — business, that sorpendan. Central, with good parking, very nice decor, culturally incentive and entertaining. Room small but cozy, and the interiorisa has been known to take advantage of it (floor 9). Bed comfortable and shower head generous, with good water pressure and temperature. Nice mini-bar gourmet, only with local products, including craft beers. The breakfast is correct, well presented, with the products just, because I cast of main, some hot, but the same habiá to ask for it (not what was offered). Cafeteria more than pleasant, neat and with good kitchen. The service, without being unfriendly, nor is it the joy of the orchard and not accompanying to the kitchen.

It is a toilets, café, rooms, apartments, incredible, the essence of film is unbeatable. The director of charming and have the bus station and train to two steps. If you go to San Sebastian have to visit it if or if.
