We spent our first night in an apartment on a first floor just above a night club. The windows and the floor vibrated due to the noise and people in the street did not shut up until around 6am. The windows were not double glazed and the flat was not properly insulated form the noise. We were using earplugs and none of us could sleep. It was such a horrible night and we were exhausted the following day on our 3-day vacation. We sent an e-mail to the staff and their response was fantastic, I must say. We were re-allocated to a different flat on a fourth floor with double glazed windows which was great.
Durante la primera noche, nos asignaron una habitación JUSTO ENCIMA de una discoteca. El suelo y las ventanas vibraban por el ruido, la gente no dejó de dar voces hasta las seis de la mañana y no había doble ventanal para proteger el apartamento del ruido. Pasamos una noche horrible así que nos quejamos porque hubiera sido imposible pasar una noche más allí. Eso sí, la respuesta del personal fue magnífica. A la mañana siguiente, una de las empleadas se acercó al piso y nos asignaron otra habitación, mucho mejor aislada y en la que pudimos dormir perfectamente.
