There is no pool in it, do not believe the photos.
Breakfasts are very scarce.

The Ibis is situated a short walk from Malaga Centre and offers a no frills base for a long weekend or city break. The hotel was spotless and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms have a large shower.

Perfect for one night. The reception is warm. The room was clean and quiet. We were provided with a complimentary baby cot with a blanket and a pillow. The hotel is very well located, short walking distance to the places to visit. I recommend the cafeteria framil has a few steps for a breakfast churros.

Very clean hotel, rooms are pretty big. And the bed is very nice. It is also very nice that you can order some food and drinks 24/7. The location of the hotel is almost perfect. Next to the river close to everything. We had a perfect stay and would definitely come back.

Very good value for money. New Hotel. The Walls too thin unfortunately make it noisy. I would have left 5 stars but a small fridge in the room would serve just seen the temperatures of Malaga.

Beautiful, very nice, very clean and very spacious rooms. The Breakfast for me is spectacular, sandwiches of all kinds, fresh sliced meats, fruit juices, juices and much more. Very recommended, good support if you go to Malaga.

The location of this hotel is quite central. Calle Larios can be reached by walking. Though hotel is on river banks, there is no water flowing in river. Rooms are moderate, clean and basic. Beds are excellent (they have improved bedding system I think). Bathrooms are spacious enough and clean. Sound proofing is not that efficient but still is not noisy.

Good location It's right in the middle. Next to the dance Conservatory, in the middle of the bridge, on the banks of the river. Its location is especially good. It has in its under a great restaurant, it great coffee. And across the Atarazanas market. Supermarkets nearby.

Very comfortable rooms in Malaga the night came out great for price. The room was perfect and the bed comfortable. Besides, he has good services.
Close to the area there are many restaurants and entertainment areas. The beach is a bit far away but the way is enjoyed because you are visiting the city center.

The hotel is very good for its category. I reserved it to make night for the marathon and not so bad. It looked rather scarce staff, the Q was translated into long waits. This is a bit of a perturbor.

Large and clean rooms.

I liked the price, about forty euros for an Ibis. I liked the central location near a lively and shopping district. I liked the sweet bed bedding, and the cleanliness of the rooms. On the other hand very poorly soundproof between the rooms, one hears snoring beside and the shoes of the neighbors of the top, preview balls quies.

I chose the chain ibis/Mercure Xké everywhere I go in Europe on holiday I prefer their courtesy, education, kindness, cleanliness, quality, professionalism etc. Etc.

Very much recommended! Everything can be reached and yet quietly located. To the stop 'Avenida de Andalucia' of the airport bus just a 6-minute walk.
Rooms are modern with TV, hair dryer and beautiful bathroom. Double bed was comfortable and even toppers.
Inviting breakfast. Drinks and snacks in the cosy lobby available. TV, games, Foosball and illustrated books free. Prices are moderate.
The ground floor consists of hotel area and separate large, cosy pub with TV (football) and tables outside. Traffic-free zone with a beautiful view.

A very reasonable price for a Ibis hotel even though the room is smaller than for most hotels in the chain. A advise for a reasonable budget and a room and quality bedding.

The staff here were a great help when my partner took ill. On a more tourist note the hotel is perfectly located. Most attractions are within easy walking distance. The rooms are perfectly adequate and very clean. The bed and reading lights really spot on! Value? Hard to beat. We will certainly be staying here again.

A simple but surprising hotel, because despite its price or two stars, it is very cozy and the stays are nice, quiet and with a very good service. Comfortable room, maybe not so well insulated but acceptable. The bathroom was clean and the breakfast was great. Lots of variety and possibility to have healthy breakfast.

Great location. If I were you I wouldn't park near there as the neighborhood right behind the location is very shady. It's still a great location because you cross the bridge and are in the center of the city.

Old hotel, old furnishings. Is only a 2 star hotel but too expensive for this category.

The location is good. The bed is comfortable. But the walls, doors and mezzanines are cardboard, you hear absolutely everything, footsteps, screaming, conversations. You can't rest well. It's hot outside and you can't turn on the air conditioner. The window does not open more than 2 cm. Making the ventilation difficult.

A great position just on the edge of the town. Just walk across the river and your in the town. Room was better than other IBIS hotels I've stayed in with all necessities. The bed was comfortable with an extra topper. Rooms and hotel were very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast at 7.5€was a bargin with a full buffet available. I would recommend a stay here if you want to walk around Malaga and visit the tourist spots.

Great Hotel, this is already the second I try and the customer service is great, breakfast superb, private underground garage fee very accessible with elevator to go to the room directly.

Value for money is very good from my point of view. The hotel is in a good location — the centre of Malaga is a five-minute walk away, with port in about 15 minutes. Staff is very friendly and rooms are very clean. There is nothing wrong with breakfast for the price. A little more storage space for clothes in the room, for example In a closet with doors (there is only one shelf) and a toilet brush would be desirable. Transit door in the hallway always strikes very loudly, furthermore it is very clairvoyant throughout the hotel, that means you hear everything that happens in the room above and next to you.
All in all, but recommend! We would stay there again and again!

Cheap hotel Good reception good value for money location near downtown.

Apart from breakfast, it is an acceptable hotel, nice and friendly operators and service staff. 4 stars, because the breakfast and the food we consumed there wasn't really delicious. But for people with little budget, or who are looking for a quick descend, this hotel offers enough to feel comfortable. Every time!

We had a great stay at the hotel ibis in central Malaga. When we arrived I was happy our daughters cot bed was already assembled. This has never happened in any if the hotels we've stayed at before. The room was great and bathroom good The only thing which would have made it better would of been tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Room furnishings could also include box and safe. The bed was very relaxing. Breakfast is highly recommended.
The location is very close to the city centre and therefore convenient. I would come back.

Great hotel. Close to one hundred cities and to the bus/train station. The room was very comfortable Small bathroom but with huge shower. Clean overall satisfactory. To improve the soundproofing.

The stay at the Ibis hotel was satisfactory and much better than expected from a 2-star hotel. All our fellow passengers were thrilled by the hotel. The rooms are spacious, as is the bathroom. All were impressed by the big shower. The bed was cozy, the cushions a little too hard. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was also rich and filling. The hotel has a modern and neat exterior and makes a good impression. The PC and printer worked impeccably.
Now a few critical notes: — Small towels for hand drying would be desirable; The bath towels are a bit oversized for this.
— The term "Centro Ciudad" is not comprehensible at first glance. It is only when you ask for a map of the city at the reception that you can see that the hotel is only about 15-20 minutes from the city centre. If you follow the road signs, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the center. In other words, on arrival at the hotel, you can take a city map with you directly, otherwise unnecessarily long journeys will be accepted.
— The lifts take getting used to. The doors close extremely fast and do not appear to have a motion sensor built in. Several times they closed while guests were still getting in, causing hematomas and the suitcases were left hanging in the doors.

We always stay here, if we can get in. It's central position, near to Plaza de la Constitution and many other sites of interest is great. The staff are professional and friendly and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. We liked the idea of the folding bed or desk in the room. We had some noisy neighbours upstairs this time but it's the first time in our many stays. Thank you everyone Karamredd.

Room looks basic — but if you're just needing a place to put your head down then that's all you need. Love love love the bed. Wow. It was so soft and comfortable. And the pillows were awesome too. Totally had a great night's sleep. The Aircon was working great too. A good escape from the August humidity! There was some background noise from outside — but I put in my headphones and all was good. Breakfast had a good selection of food.

Hotel situated very close to old town but far enough away to avoid the noise and busyness of it. Rooms very clean with very comfy beds, good blackout blinds and good air con. Didn't use restaurant so cannot comment. Would definitely recommend and look forward to a return visit when it's cooler weather.

Two minutes walk from the center where all the restaurants and shops are as well as the cathedral, picasso museum and other attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean and Wi-Fi is available. Parking is available underground too for 11 euros per day. The beach in malaga is 10 min away by car but it's not good for swimming but the marina there is nice with nice places to eat and drink. The beach Torremolinos is better and it's 20 min away by car.

I liked almost everything about this hotel. Room size is big. Toilet is bigger including a very spacious shower cabin. This is a big and very well known hotel and every taxi I took in my visit, the driver knows the location of the hotel. Though it is not in the city centre nor closer to the beach, the location is quite convenient for travelling to the important attractions very easily. Many tourist attractions can be covered by foot. The price is much cheaper than other similar standard hotel in this area without compromising much in facilities and location. The bar looks great — very special.

The rooms were lovely and modern and at a reasonable price — the staff was extremely helpful and professional especially Marta — she deserves a raise! The location was central — within walking distance for most things.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel just next to the old town and within a comfortable distance from the beach area and it is easy to access from the train station. It was comfortable as usual, and again I highly appreciated the good bed and normal bed linens and not only just sheets and blankets… The size of the room and the bathroom was appropriate. The breakfast was good for the start of the day. Good windows, excluding most of the noises :)

Excellent location-adjacent to the Old Town and 5-10 min walk to the Railway Station. Hotel was clean and tidy, bedrooms likewise and were more than adequate. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good and reasonable. Hotel had been recommended by a friend and I was very happy to take his advise to stay there. Highly recommend!

Very satisfied with the location, service, breakfast.
Unfortunately, in connection with the Semana-Santa, the price for the hotel of this class was greatly overstated. On dates from 13 to 16 April, the price grew so much that it was more profitable to rent a penthouse of 90 square meters on the same street. After 16 April the price of hotel rooms fell by half.

A comfortable hotel and central where estsr very comfortable, with a few beds are really comfortable. However, the treatment on the part of a receptionist could be better, I heard several conversation very encouraging. For the rest, all great, including the breakfast buffet.

I was going to give a surprise to my boyfriend for valentine's day, pay the taxi book in advance of the double room and when I arrive he tells me the receptionist that there is no reservation that I am wrong and that this all complete. Total that I had to change plans completely and two hours later I called the same receptionist telling me that there was room. Of course I said no after all that I had to pass. But what is more intense is that a little bit later he calls me saying that was my name on the reservation. I've never seen anything like this before. I have been a real disappointment.

Absolutely perfect for a short break. Conveniently close to all the wonders of Malaga's old town and walking distance to the bus and train. Place is modern and unfussy and the staff are helpful. The Ibis well be my future hotel of choice when I undoubtedly return to this vibrant city.
