Just got home after staying here 4 nights, lovely hotel situated perfectly close to the beach, marina and shopping. Room was cleaned and fresh sheets everyday, we were bed and breakfast and breakfast was nice, great selection of foods. Animation team and lifeguard very friendly. Couldn’t fault the place unless I wanted to be extremely picky 10/10 would like to return again.

Great snack bar. Main bar in concert room poor service not staff fault only small bar always queueing 10 mins on average and all inclusive stops at 11pm prompt as does entertainment dead on no music or anything very poor.

Fantastic stay beds are massive and very comfy nice surroundings friendly and welcoming highly recommend we will be back to visit again.

Lovely clean modern hotel, great food choice at every meal, brilliant animation team with a wide variety of activities. Our family party of 7 are going back next year.

Very family friendly had a great first family holiday met some great people animation team (Gabriella, Samuel, Pato and Juan) were superb! With activities for all right through the day. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was great with lots of choice rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. All in all a great time had by all definitely booking for next year.

Fantastic and wonderful Animation Team keep you active and very happy all day. Lovely Bar and Restaurant staff, the Hotel doing a lot of work to make more comfortable and relaxing time within the premises. Great position near the beach and the Marina shopping centre. Ciao.

Just returned from a weeks HOL at this hotel. Rooms lovely, pool area gorgeous. Breakfast amazing choice. Ideal location to the Marina & beach… 10 out of 10

Just back from a week great hotel, We just did breakfast and it was great lots of variety! pool area is lovely and staff go above and beyond to help. Rooms are very comfortable and cleaned every day. Location is perfect practically on Marina couldn't recommend this hotel enough well worth a visit.

Now the rooms are old looking, but hey how much time do you spend in the room. So the pool area is really nice, loads of space an dx the out door seating area with bar is very good, drinks and food are cheap. The in-door bar is very nice and is a good place to relax.

When we arrived we were told that a system failure had occurred and that we could not spend there the first night, despite the failure they were able to compensate us by relocating to another similar hotel and offering us a full board during the stay.
Very good cleanliness and the food is exquisite! Very friendly staff and very well located, right in front of Puerto Marina and 3 minutes walk from the beach.

The location is almost amazing, pretty close to the beach. The rooms are the only problem because they are really small, but in general you could say they are fine. The service is pretty good and all of the staff that I had an interaction were pretty pleasent.

Dated, friendly, good food, family friendly. At first looks dated and the cleaning is not the best. The staff is great and they have plenty of activities for kids and shows everynight. The food is lovely too.

Very good hotel. Very clean everywhere. Great food for the amount of people they have to deal with and a wide choice of fresh meats and fish with loads of vegetables fresh fruit and cheese. Very nice selection of fresh pastry. Very clean pool and grounds. We'll worth a look.

Clean & tidy rooms. Pool and animation team were Brilliant fun! Only San Miguel beer on tap. Rooms were nice if a little dated. Food selection was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel, very central to the marina and the beach. Staff were lovely, nothing was a problem for them. Security guards at night were lovely. We had a suite with a view of the marina and the pool. Large comfy beds, mini fridge and TV, clean sheets and towels everyday along with a room clean. Everyone so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in our stay which consisted of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, numerous pastries, full cooked buffet breakfast, pancakes, churros, cold cuts and cheeses, biscuits, tea & coffee machine, fruit juices and water, all round a antastic spread. Palmasol was excellent value for money and I will definitely be staying again. 100% recommended! Thankyou!

Really lovely hotel. Grounds immaculate and well situated near marina. Food good. Free Wi-Fi in reception. Rooms could do with updating but bed was comfortable and shower and bathroom was excellent.

COMFORT: nice hotel but small rooms. In fact, there is a real lack of optimization for the bathroom (attention slippery shower floor) and the room. Located near the sea and the harbor but with a steep slope. Beware of people with mobility problems: the hotel rents a small electric vehicle.
ANIMATIONS: someone said that there were no animations, it is entirely false even if I was not interested, I can say that one can sleep there before midnight (Hotel regulations) …
Among the improvements that can be made by the hotel, there is also the volume of sound as regards the animations evoked as that of the outside bar in the afternoon where the decision maker imagines to animate a disco without holding of the hundred rooms that this Mind…
CATERING: Classic bufflet mainly for Nordic calorie lovers and not enough crudités. Prefer formulas with only breakfast as there are a multitude of small restaurants on the Nice Harbor. BAR: don't plan on sipping a sherry… (management did not plan it… and yet the hotel is frequented also by Spaniards) we can drink in the Canary Islands, in Paris but not at the hotel Palmasol! If you take a Mojito feel lucky if there is Mint…
ENVIRONMENT: the interest of Benalmeneda is to be very well located for excursions especially do not miss (cable car, Mijas, Ronda and Delphinarium).

Excellent location close to the marina and shops. Very clean, rooms were comfortable and the breakfast choice was very good (only stayed b&b so can't comment on lunch/evening meals) would recommend this hotel for its location.

A great hotel very clean with friendly staff Food was absolutely fantastic with plenty of variety to suit all Pool don’t open until 10am and closes at 6pm Balls not allowed in the pool! Unless your involved with the entertainment crew playing polo Would definitely recommend and I’d love to stay at this perfectly positioned hotel again well done hotel palmasol.

I stayed last week in the hotel and I was very satisfied. The category of 3 * is more than fulfilled. Facilities, cleanliness, staff, location and buffet all very correct. Just to put a snag that the rooms do not have any plug, except the one in the bathroom.

It is a 3 star hotel but there are 4 that do not reach the alturs of the Betun. To repeat every year if I could. Staff all of 10. Thank you.

Went in Easter break. Very quiet. No entertainment for my 7 year old son which wasn't helped by the poor weather. Downstairs bar was nice as was reception. But rooms very small and dated, no room to walk, always under each others feet. Had to put the chair on the balcony, which had an awful view over a disused car park, room 119. Although the rooms over the pool area had nice views. Pool area and outside seating area was very nice. We only had breakfast not lunch or dinner, which was a lovely and ample buffet with lots of choices, wonderful eggs but horrible coffee and OJ. Wouldn't recommend with children, unless you enjoy them moaning! They have evening entertainment but only starting at 9. Way too late for families. Very noisy flamenco dancing at 10 on Thursday, sounded like a jack hammer. Good location for the marina.

It is super crappy, they charge you for the Wi-Fi, the safe and even the tea machine, there is only one plug for the entire room and is not on the table and no rest, at 8 am the cleaners screaming and many noises, the walls are paper.
The only good thing about it is the breakfast.

Friendly staff. Surprisingly good food and plenty of it. Was going to use restaurant only for breakfast but lunch or evening meal was really good. Close to lovely marina. Ideal location for visiting other towns.

For lack of staff took a long time to get food. Our room the bathroom with very bad smell. The food little variety but good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is great. The rooms don't have the best of the upkeep, but overall good. The breakfast buffet is quite good and varied.

Great room and great location. Central for all amenities and port as well as the beach. Local shops are easily accessible and within walking distance of great places to eat and drink.

Going home tomorrow Friday 16th Feb. Been here a week, second visit. Dont come back to places I do not like. Much has changed here in 12 months. Lots of areas updated including the restaurant. Cannot fault the food or the staff. Both are great and time has been taken too look after customers without exception. Yes, if you want to be pedantic there are little things that could be improved, but, come on, this is a 3* hotel with great facilities. Yes, the lifts are small, yes there are no tea making facilities in the rooms. Bring a travel kettle, cup and tea bags/coffee if you want. I intend to come back again for a third visit in the future and will do so knowing we will be looked after. Thank you Palma sol.

Very old Hotel the curtains were full of blood and the. Abitacion full of dust so much that I gave a reaction to the face when I came into the Abitacion floor very dirty balcony crystals etc… I complain at reception and I got a superior but still when I lay down the pillows smelled like sweat referring to. Buffet very little food they kept repeating the middle. Day and night only one xica to replenish food and iron. Exaba LOA fillets ala planxa and VAT to replenish people will acia food alone to see K Abia no one asta she complained the entertainment of the Otel for nothing tasty wings 11 of the night were already throwing people and say the price cubalibres 6. €60 I do not advise for anything.

Firstly the positives: the food is excellent, staff are attentive to your needs, all areas are spotless including the rooms, ensuites look like they've been recently refurbished to a high standard. Now the bad bit: rooms and hotel a looking tired and in need of refurbishment, all inclusive is very limited with no snacks or cocktails included, if you don't pay extra for a sea view you get the bins which are emptied at 2:30am, rooms are very noisy from below above and the sides, bar shuts at midnight (all inclusive till 11pm), pool is quite small for the size of the hotel, our room had plaster dropping off the walls and an electric socket missing with live wires poking out.

This hotel has seemed carisimo to me for what it offers. The only good thing is the location, but the hotel itself is old, the rooms are outdated, the mattresses are spring and soft… Furthermore the soundproofing of the rooms is null, at 9am arrived the housekeeping service to my area and speaking to voices woke me up… Breakfast was good. Overall I don't recommend anything this hotel, I find it expensive for the quality it offers.

Lovely service at reception. Room we had was massive balcony gong round the room on both sides. However place is in need of an update. Toilet had very bad smell catching your throat. If balcony and view were poor we would of asked to move. We only had B&B. Which was fine as we like to wander at night. The hotel is ideally situated by the marina, so you have miles of coast to walk or cycle on. Cable car to mountains is a must do. Hope this helps someone. BRILLIANT location. Just across the road from the marina. Very pleasant staff. Clean rooms 2 large beds great aircon breakfast BRILLIANT pool and surrounding areas great turn the other way out of the Hotel 2min walk main rd for buses and supermarket. Top notch hotel.

Lives this hotel. Ideal location. Good food just ashame pool sunbeda are always deserved with towels while the owners of them nip off for breakfast.

Overall satisfied. Rooms and furniture are dated and a bit soiled. Bathrooms are clean. Double beds are just 140 wide! Just 1 plug socket in the room. No kettle but they lend you one for 2E a day! LOL. Pool area is small. Pool closes at 7! Rooms facing back terrace are a bit noisy. Not enough ashtrays to go around. Food is good though some is tasteless. Breakfast 0800-1100 dinner 1900-2145. Close to beaches and restaurants, close to waterfront entertainment. I guess that. S what you get for a relatively cheap hotel.

Just got back from here for our honeymoon and me and my husband were not impressed rooms were very standard two single beds for a double room and not very clean! Being a cleaner myself I was not impressed with the standards! Maids did very little in our room didn't even make the bed just emptied the bin and took our towels, we had came back from the pool and I had just come out the shower and the maid just walked in the room without knocking which I found very rude! Food could do with some more attention to detail as there was no variety for any specific need. Entertainment was shocking they just say by the pool playing music whilst looking at their phones and didn't even start any games! At one point they just walked off and left the lifeguard in charge of the music! There was not enough sun loungers for the pool and we had to put towels on floor to sit there. We were all inclusive and we thought this meant any time but it was 11am to 11pm and if you wanted a drink before or after you had to pay for it which defeats the object of all inclusive. We have been all inclusive before and this was when the bar opened till when it closed. The only good thing about this hotel was it's location being 5 minutes walk away from the beautiful marina! We will not be coming back here again!

Decent breakfast, clean areas including the room. Friendly staff, close to loads of eateries. Easy public transport access and therefore the airport. Only downside was the incessant noise of obscure music and poolstaff who appear to love shouting into the microphone. Not a good place if you want a relaxing poolside holiday.

Excellent during the day with a good pool and entertainment. In a good location with local shops and the marina close by. The room is basic — not that you spend much time in it while on holiday. The reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5 is because there is a lack of entertainment at night. I would recommend to anyone who want a nice relaxing holiday in the sun, by the pool.

Hotel is tired needs a referb. Two double beds pushed together classed as a family room? No room to store cases let alone move about. Bring hangers cos not enough supplied. Bathroom very small with no extractor fan or window to open. Not enough sockets to plug in phones straighteners or other modern must haves. Food not the best but usually found something. Bar/snack bar very expensive. Staff don't speak good English but smile a lot. Maids do very minimum beds made bins empty towel change. (Place thick of dust behind beds along floor edges, doors in corridors) Entertainment staff get paid for very little. One does water aerobics then later a dance class by the pool. Another guy turns up at 4pm to play volleyball in the pool. The girls didn't seem to do a lot. Plenty loungers by the pool or in the garden but queue from 9.20am to get best space. Take mosquito spray lots about we all got bitten in June. Best thing about hotel is its position, go out back gate (down lots of steps near pool) over road and your at the beautiful marina.
Lots of eating places shops and bars. Oh and plenty genuine fake goods being sold by the looky men.

Just got back from a 5 night stay. Hotel 5 mins walk to marina. Rooms ok a bit dated but clean swimming pool open 10 to 7 pm food not good not a lot of choice stayed half board but had to eat out instead the older waiter grumpy plus they were ants in restaurant. Night entertainment was stopped after a noise complaint and nothing said from the management to the paying guests. I spoke to a few guests and they said the same. Will not be staying again.

Excellent location; walking distance from the main street and supermarkets, and walking distance to the marina. Rooms are spacious enough and kept clean. Pool view room was worth the extra money and the balcony is great if you want sun but don't want to leave the room. Brilliant views. Food is great for meat eaters but can lack for vegetarians. Harder for disabled people to get around but would still recommend for a cheaper stay away. Well worth it.

Small rooms with air con. But I had crumbs in my sheets and the quality of rooms differed. Had to buy water and Wi-Fi. Nice hotel with small balconies though.

Food: Simple, honest, food. If you want Cordon Blue food then go four stars and above. Absolutely no complaints about the food. Rooms: We had a family room. It was fine as far as the description went. Family = No Privacy if you're a parent anyway but a lock on the bathroom door would have been nice (especially as the modern family often consists of step-fathers/partners/boyfriends etc). Staff: Were friendly and polite although not as bilingual as you would hope. That said, its really down to us to try and speak Spanish, not for them to speak our language. Location: Far enough from the clubs to cause minimal disturbance, but near to the beaches, restaurants, shops and attractions. All-in-all a good location. Issues: Rooms can smell a little funny. After a few days we determined this was due to the mineral content of the water, and not the cleanliness of the hotel. Its just something you have to accommodate when at a seaside Resort in a foreign country. Overall the hotel is exactly what it says it is, a 3 Star Hotel, and good for what it is. Expect more? Then save up more money and go to a more expensive hotel.

Horrible hotel rubbish food dirty rooms that are stupidly small very unfriendly staff overcrowd no free Wi-Fi plus if you go all inclusive you still have to pay for drinks told you can't sit down at breakfast really disgusted with this hotel it has ruined my hoilday will never be staying here again.

Very good week in the company of my family, a very familiar, well situated hotel with a great staff, very good food.

Facilities are good for three star category, the phenomenal public areas, garden and pool very good care, perfect entertainers. The rooms, at least ours a little small, were 4 and put us two double beds and could one move very well between the beds. Otherwise all good.

We had a few days that we have become a day earlier than expected at this hotel, not is by where nice bit of one of the receptionists start to any dining room waitress, got 12 wings of the morning and tell me that until the 5 p. M. Does not give me the room, the room a disaster bad smell, little space (we were 3) put you a bed in a twin room, the bathroom was new (only thing that there is new) room you make well past midday 3 and a half 4 and forget to put the towels (mention is a girl from the cleaning and told me that I had to wait because they had finished) payment (4euros day) Wi-Fi no fridge, air conditioning, meals cannot be adjusted wrong not the following (not is that people eat at home) bottle of water in the dining room 2 euros the following day 2, 20, children entertainment no, when you eat breakfast and get wing pool in the morning are all the loungers picked up with a towel and can spend hours until it occupies the someone, ultimately very badly wrong, I've been ten years summer in benalmadena but at this hotel I not return nor free, there are too many 2 stars or 3.

Not very pleasant. 2 days awake at dawn due to the substandard drunks q go singing. Little clean, we are in Spain, Andalusia, malaga province autonomous comunindad, came to the room at 3 in the afternoon after taking me 1 litre chilly gazpacho (q is very rich) pa napping and I find q have not cleaned the room. Occur 3.30 Ud believed q This is time to clean the room no one? The NAP is sacred in Andalcia. The pillows are so thin and hard q prefer to sleep without it xq I wake up with neck pain. The day of my arrival at the llamr hotel very early for reservat crib of the baby, they promise me from 9 in the morning the cradle, baby for 9 months and they bring it to me at 9 in the evening after insisting 4 times and always tell me q was ready. I book a fridge for food for the baby since the arrival and d stay still it I am waiting on my fourth day; part of the meal of the baby it has been bad and I had q buy pharmacy jars, x lo q the baby been constipated and have trouble making their caquita. At the bar 2 euro x 3 fingers of Coke's brand, same beer, a direct result, I bring it Street, x €4 I bring you a beer a soda and bag potatoes. Q comes with everything included, poor, naive q, all the q give you a white label, even a sad cocacola or a mahou or Eagle or cruzcampo, white label, costing 20 euros per person per day all inclusive. At least the food is good, that if you are going to eat at 1:00 o'clock and 8 o'clock, early, or hold queue.

Although I was only weekend I can say that it is a good hotel, not to throw rockets, but quite acceptable. Good price and good service.
