They had one of the nicest breakfast buffet… now it is a disgrace. Like a cheap tour operator all inclusive cantine. Very nice rooms.

Selection of breakfast items are getting cut back even more! I like this hotel on account of the calm atmosphere and likewise location and have been coming here for many years. However in the recent years the situation at breakfast has become increasingly of lesser standard. Every few months when I stay here now, more items are being cut back, increasingly diminishing the items on offer. And this goes for the entirety of the stations, the bread, the sweets, the fruit, the warm dishes etc. Am not sure what the plan is at this hotel or who is benefiting from the steady decline of the standard of breakfast here, but for me it has become sub standard for a hotel of this class and they have lost me as a guest.

I like the place its neat and good customer service. Its place to stay if you have your own car coz you need to walk up to the main lobby. The food inside is too pricely. If your looking for affordable yet good food to eat there's a lot of restaurant you can find outside the hotel.

Nice setting around some hills and a quaint town. Bright convention centre with a moderate amount of space in general and a large conference room.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Spaceous rooms, fine breakfast, large hotel, accommodating staff. Free bus service to Itaewon.

Visited during conference. They have good rooms and excellent coffee shop.

A great hotel with really nice staff! There is an ATM and a café on site, and there are many restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. A small supermarket is also within walking distance.
The rooms are equipped with a kettle and free coffee and tea.

Exclusive hotel as already accustomed to Hilton. Large and quiet room with walk-in shower. Unfortunately, the room and many areas of the hotel are provided with carpeting as usual. The location is rather difficult and the steep approach to the hotel is particularly strenuous on foot (with snow almost impossible). Positive is the free shuttle bus from Hilton which once goes to the city centre or to the Uni district (there are good shopping facilities) in the area are some small restaurants and two convenience stores (7-Eleven) which are within a few minutes walk Can be reached. The Hongie Stop (line 3) is the other alternative to reach many sights and the city centre easily and cost-effectively. The breakfast is expensive and for Hilton conditions unfortunately a bit lean equipped. E. G. Little fruit selection. Value for money at dinner, e. G. BIBIMBAP, was also not very good. What a pity. Spa area should be good but expensive. We have not used as a couple because the areas of gender are separate. Therefore not important for us. Service was as you know it, good and very customer oriented. Keep it up! Conclusion. Posh and chic hotel with small flaws and unfavorable location. On the whole but good.

Great infrastructure, large indoor pool, fitness center and sauna. Very friendly staff. Extensive buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A great hotel in a good location. Unfortunately it is a bit elevated, so you get a sweat when you walk out of the city. The spa I feel is too expensive, but is terrific!

Very nice hotel, albeit a little bit in the years come. Swimming pool was unfortunately closed and 20.000 won for the sauna was a bit too much. This is cheaper and better in Seoul (sauna). Top staff, clean, nice bar. 11.000 won for a cup of tea and 12.500 won for a beer are normal. Is also a 5 * hotel;)

Great hotel for business and conferences nerest Seouldowntown.

Service and facilities are below 5 star level. However the room and view from 11th floor was nice. Breakfast is plain but is advised to purchase since hotel is detached from infrastructure.

When I am in Seoul, I always stay here. The rooms are comfortable and have an appropriate size. There is a gym which is, in my opinion, well equipped, but always to hot. Never the less, you can start a great workout there. Personel is very friendly and a very good service is the shuttle bus, which brings you every half hour to the University area or to Incheon. The use of the bus is free of charge. Of course there is room service and Internet. If you are a member of Hilton Honors, you participate of free Internet, and Gold members also of a free breakfast. I have been here so many times and there is no reason to complain about anything.

Overpriced, dirty, unfriendly, loud. The curtains in the rooms are to thin, letting the early morning sunlight in, so sleepout is impossible. The gym is outdated and never properly airconditioned. They offer no 24h roomservice and a dish usualy costs you 30 USD. The Receptionist are unfriendly, I have never seen one of them smile! The walk up and down the hill on which this Hotel is situated is super annoying. Over all this is one of the worst Hotels I know!

Good service. A bit far from tourist attractions, but there is a free shuttle bus to/from hotel into town. Easy to reach via airport shuttle, just make sure arrange the hotel shuttle to pick up at the bottom of the hill…

This Hotel is very nice, but I would expect allot more out of a 5 star hotel. The shower area is not clean to the standard I would expect, there is soap scum and dirt build up in the corners of the shower and glass. The main bedroom was great, clean, spacious, very modern, and well configured. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, a good night sleep was very easy to get with the comfort of this bed. My biggest complaint I have is the fee you pay to use the internet… for the price that is paid per night to stay here it would be nice to have complimentary internet! The location is decent, its not in the heart of Seoul but it is very easy to get where you need or want to go. I would probably not stay here again, I have stayed at 5 star hotels that excelled my expectations, this one I would say is more of a 4 star but since the name and other luxuries offered here give it the 5th star.

Excellent hotel facilities and service! But nothing is around the hotel located at uphill. The price is quite expensive as normal five star hotels in major cities.

I chose this one for the location, as I needed to stay close to Yonsei University. In that respect, it did not disappoint. However: 1. It is situated on a steep hill, making walking to and from the surrounding neighborhood difficult, especially if you are exhausted from a long journey. Presumably this helps sales of those 5000-won minibar Coke cans. 2. Aside from the aforementioned minibar, there is no refrigerator and also no microwave. So you can pretty much forget about feeding yourself. 3. While easily half the yeogwans in Korea offer free high-speed internet (usually *with* a computer provided), you will have to pay more than 20, 000 won per day just to use the internet at the Hilton, and it's still BYOL. The Hilton's wires must be made out of fine-spun gold. Or perhaps unicorn hair? 4. Bathing facilities are extremely mediocre. For nearly 200k per night, one expects somewhat better. To sum up, at the Grand Hilton Seoul, you're getting about 150k of packaging and maybe — — to be very generous — — 40k of actual value.
