Star Hostel Insadong is a very convenient place to stay. Its a meter walk from the palaces, from the traditional Korean foods and crafts. Kevin and his parents are very kind. Their breakfast is basic. But the best thing is that you can cook at this hostel, so you can beat your budget. Will stay here again if I will go back to Korea.

Stayed here for about a week, and generally I should say that its a truly a place for "tourist", a place perfect for a day's rest. In the morning, the breakfast is free, serve yourself with eggs, cereals, milk, bread and spread, you prepare it yourself and you wash your own dishes, the earlier in the cafeteria the better, if there are lots of guests staying because the cafeteria can seat about 4-5 persons, or you can take your meal to your room. The hosts are very approachable and will try to help you with anything. Laundry service is also available which is neat for backpackers. At the back of this hostel, is a hanok village, full of coffee shops and restaurants, also out on the streets are the streets food where people can order food with soju and spend the night talking and have fun with friends. Another plus point for this location is the 3 Train lines that meets here which you may choose to take depending on your destination. Convenience stores are very accessible and the bus stop is just about 3-5 minute walk. It is also surrounded by Korea's tourist spots or parks. From the inside of our accommodation and our room, is clean, and it has strong internet. Hot water for shower is available, fresh towels everyday. I give it a 5 star for my 1 week stay. Thanks to the hotel staff! Good business! God bless.

Nice enough room and priced well. Near the subway. The airconditioner had mold in it and the bathroom supplies (soap, shampoo, and toilet paper) was not properly replaced there was barely anything in my room.
