Albergo for Backpackers Hotel

The staff are pretty friendly, the beds are OK and the kitchen is fine. The bathrooms are pretty good quality which brings this place up. The location is perfect and the vibe is pretty nice. Overall, this is a very nice hostel.

Beautiful hostel, everything you need and great location. Bonfires every night and good barbecue facilities.

The garden is beautiful, but the hostel is very noisy and relatively expensive. Facilities are present but everything is shared. Bedding is rock-hard. The beautiful garden is completely ruined by the obnoxious, and fixed, playlist blasting cheesy pop-music. Overall not recommended if you want to relax.

Hotel for Backpackers is located a short walk from the main street of Plettenberg Bay, where there are shops, bars and restaurants.
It is a clean and nice hostel that in addition to the traditional dorms also offers private rooms, discreetly spacious
Bathroom (1) and showers (2) in common (also for those who sleep in private room) and possibility to cook breakfast/lunch/dinner in a kitchen equipped with everything you need. Of course, in case you do the shopping, there's a fridge where you leave what you bought.

Hot in the December month and no fan. Few outlets in the room.

Boutique Hostel at great Price What a great Hostel. This Hostel is furnished with great Attention to Detail. Although we had two Days of Continuous Rain, we felt very comfortable. The Hostel is spacious with a very large Garden where you can barbecue. The Double Rooms are very spacious and furnished almost like a boutique hotel. The Kitchen leaves nothing to Be desired.
Since we checked out earlier, we unexpectedly got Money back — super Service.

Brilliant location, very helpful staff, great facilities and communal areas. The bonus of bbq every night! Self catering heaven. The bedding could be improved, other than that, I couldn't fault the place. I'd definitely recommend to fellow backpackers!

Went on a road trip a year ago and stayed in many backpackers, this was one of my favourite ones and stayed there 2 x in one month. Well organised, eco friendly, lovely outside braai and entertainment area, clean.

Had such a good stay there! Kitchen is very good equiped and there is so much space to chill out. Dorm room was good, nothing to complain about.

I really loved my stay at Albergo Backpackers. The staff are friendly and efficient. Young and old are welcome here and the garden is a lovely place to either socialise with friends or just to sit and relax. I will definitely visit again.

Very welcoming, had no place booked an they assisted with a very late and last minute booking. Thank you to Chante and Team we wish we could have stayed longer. No we have a reason to return.

Very good, clean one doorstep from the supermarket en mainstreet. Bedrooms are perfect not to small like other backpackers friendly staff. Perfect Wi-Fi for free! Good choice.

Great backpacker place, good hangout area outside in the garden. Braai every night. Rooms on second floor have a common walkway/terrace to hang out on. Good bunk beds. Super good location, close to main street and beach. Good and clean cooking facilities. No free Wi-Fi. Big shared fridge. Pool table. Small library.
