Had my birthday dinner at the restaurant. They went the extra mile to adapt the set menu to accommodate us vegetarians. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend for a fine dining experience⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lovely restaurant in a splendid and peaceful location! The food was superb — thoughtfully created dishes, beautifully presented and served with a warm smile (often by the chef herself! ). The wine pairing was excellent and complimented our food choices perfectly. Ingredients used in the preparation of food are seasonal and sourced locally. I can highly recommend this restaurant to fellow lovers of excellent food!

Delicious food but should improve lighting and decoration.

The Guest House is very cosy. With only 4 rooms there is no mass operation. With direct access to the lagoon and free kayaks. Very friendly owners who like to give you tips for activities. Breakfast is prepared with a lot of love.

What a way to end of our honeymoon! A must do! The food was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Lizelle and Rudolf were excellent hosts and the service was top notch! We will most definitely be returning!

Interesting food story and experience.

Was awesome food. The atmosphere is very relaxed even if the setting is not. As with the food it is all well balanced. Don't dress too fancy but leave the jeans at home. Be open to the food combination and wine suggestions and I think you would be in for a treat.

Very nice and comfortable guest house. The dinner is an incredible event, anong the best along the Garden Route and a great excuse for flying to South Africa!

Make sure you book way in advance. Great experience and superb food and hosts.

We booked a table last autumn. And the experience was even better than we imagined. The food is outstanding perfect. We are a family of 4 so we ordered different starters and main courses and had a chance to try them all. We also ordered wine pairing so we got very detailed and interesting storys on our different wines. Our kids are only 15 and 13 so they got special non-alcoholic alternatives. The couple that owns the restaurant divided responsibilities so she is running the kitchen and he is running their wines. We even got shuttled back to our guests house by the owner. A MUST if You visit Wilderness and likes food and wines OR visit Serendipity and You'll get Wilderness as a bonus. :-)

Very nice food and some fantastic wines. We had to adjust our wine pairing ourselves as it was getting a bit too much towards the sweet wines. Service was friendly, but the amount of attention seemed to differ a lot between different tables. The setting is a bit like being in someone's home, but we found it a bit too kitch. Very pleasant dining experience.

Attention to detail, warm and friendly. Home away from home while being dined and still able to relax in nature. Will be back in the future.

Great place for great food. Foodies delight.

Sublime. We stumbled upon this place five years ago and had to come back again two days ago. It is not inexpensive, but frankly, for what one receives, it's worth it. Utterly fabulous place and astonishingly good food. Not to be missed.

This is still our favorite restaurant we have been coming here for the past 7 years. The food is wonderful, the drink is superb. It is world class South African dishes. If you get a chance you must go to Serendipity at least once in your life. Rudolph and Lizel make an amazing team.

Fine food, great wines, but rather overstrung (e. G. You get a 10 minutes lecture about the menu before you're allowed into the dining hall. ) On the pricy side. Fine if you like a bit of chichi, not a recommendation otherwise.
