Thank you William for the best room in the house, nr 5. Wow, amazing. Although the wind was hectic and we did not used the pool, we had an amazing time. Thanks for the amazing dinner and breakfast.

I highly recommend Residence William French, he not only offers you the most amazing food, but the rooms are beautiful and spacious, comfy bed you don't want to get out of, and a spectacular sea view. Catch the sunrise or watch the Moon come up. 10/10 for the whole experience.

This really is a magnificent establishment. Every year we treat ourselves to a night at William French and we are never disappointed… from the moment we step through the door we are treated royally by the owner William who has made this into a 5 star getaway. The rooms are all different and lack nothing. Every little detail has been thought of. The view across the bay is spectacular both during the day and at night. The evening meal prepared by William is delicious fresh and so french and the breakfasts are like no other. Thank you William … we love being spoilt by you.

With this accommodation, you really do not know where to start … The decor and interior, of both the rooms and the dining room, is super chic, stylish and luxurious. And the view just amazing! Enjoying a delicious coffee at the infinity pool while looking at the ocean and watching the sun rise makes you quickly feel like you're in paradise. But the best thing about this residence is the host: William. Such a warm and dearly person who anticipates every wish! We have been to William's before and have now had the feeling of visiting a friend instead of just being a guest. And now the absolute highlight: the food. On request, William treats you with a 3-course menu for dinner (choice between fish, meat and vegetarian). Each bite is a piece of heaven — already the thought of it makes my mouth water. Anyone who stays at William's should immediately reject any thought of eating out. The dinner here is unique! Especially because of the intimate atmosphere in the beautiful dining room with chandelier and candlelight. And if you are still hungry, the appetite comes back at breakfast with homemade jams, cereals, cheese and sausage platter, home-baked croissants and eggs. Residence William French Guest House is by far the best decision you can make! We are looking forward to our next visit to William! :)

This is by far the best place to be when you are in the Cape Town area. Stunning views, delicious food, beautiful staff, the beds are like clouds and the property is spotless and so comfortable. Everything is so perfectly thought out to finest little detail. Huge thank you to William, Janine, and Primrose for making this stay so magical. My girlfriend and I travel a lot and we felt like we were at home here. We truly felt like we were family. We will always remember you and be grateful for such an incredible experience!

Incredible venue impeccable views.

I had the most incredible stay at the Residence William French Guest House. I loved every minute from the moment I arrived. William and his staff honestly go out of their way to give you true five-star service with a friendly smile. I would highly recommend that you request dinner at the guest house. Not only is the food better tasting than any restaurant food you could experience, but the presentation of the food is really special too. I could not fault them on anything… ab…solutely delicious! My room was luxurious, stunningly decorated, cozy and comfortable. I had a wonderful night's sleep and specially left the curtains drawn during the night so that I could wake up to the sunrise over the ocean horizon, which could be viewed from my bed. Nothing beats that view with a cappuccino in hand listening to the waves crashing and the birds' early morning singing. A morning to treasure. Breakfast was a real treat too! Fresh croissants and other breads, a selection of cold meats & cheeses, delicious home-made granola, yoghurt and an incredible fruit salad. William makes the best jams… My favourite is the passion fruit jam. The best! Thank you William for hosting me. I had a lovely stay and will highly recommend you and your guest house to anyone looking for a "home away from home" where they can feel spoilt and just relax. I will definitely be back :)

It's lovely place. One of the best places which I stayed!

The splendor starts when you enter the front door and it doesn't stop! The view, the decor, the food, the linen, the warm hospitality, the music and of course, the host! And not to forget… Cookie! The manor mascot! We had amazing conversations with the American and German guests, laughed a lot with the French host. William, thank you from the bottom of me heart! It has been one experience I will cherish for the rest of my life! You will definitely miss out if this is not on your list of places to stay!
