We spent 3 nights in the guesthouse after sightseeing in Cape Town. It was such a nice change from the busy city. The guesthouse is an absolute oasis of peace. The house itself is new and tastefully decorated, with beautiful views of the ocean (in ocean view rooms). The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and make the place feel like home! Breakfasts are cooked to order, everything is fresh and tasty. During the day, it's relatively easy to walk to the beach and to see the penguins (though walk back is uphill). It's also a convenient location to explore Cape Point (about 35 mins drive). At night, it's not super convenient without a car, but if you don't have your own car Uber is available and not expensive. Overall, wonderful place to stay in Simonstown!
