Placed an order with the Mozambik restaurant for room service and they decided they wouldn’t deliver. Called them several times and given the run around, finally had no food delivered, almost 2hrs after ordering had to cancel the order coz it had not been placed in the first place. 🤷‍♀️ Very unfortunate way to end our stay here.

Good day friendliest staff, great service! Would recommend the Colosseum Hotel to anyone. Would definitely make a return again soon. was my fiancee's first time and she enjoyed every moment, thanks for making her birthday memorable!

The service was great until we got into the room
The bath tub was dirty
There was no sugar or coffee in the room. Also no cutlery at all. The floors were sticky and dusty.

Wow we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was amazing, would definitely love to return.

Awesome stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, shout out to Delano who went the extra mile to make my moms birthday special by staying over time just so that we could get our cake at midnight for our family tradition of singing then. Breakfast was marvelous and all our needs was seen too. Difficult to find a nice restaurant but the mall was quite close. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family and will definitely return.

Each and every experience was nothing short of amazing. I would return here any time. The food the people the views all is phenomenal.

All staff are extremely friendly here. They try make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are great set ups and everything is very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The food was amazing as well. I felt like royalty! Keep it up! :)

Went to cin cin restaurant for my birthday dinner date with my boyfriend. Staff was so friendly and very helpful, and they even wished me a happy birthday. The food was so delicious, oh the the dessert was so delectable.

Just want to say thank you to ALL the friendly and kind staff that made us feel like we are part of the family. Had a lovely stay as always and that’s why we always choose The Colosseum over any other hotel in Century City. Thank you to the professional staff who made me feel like a king on my birthday. I rate the Colosseum Hotel as the best than all the other Hotels where I have stayed. The food was the best ever I have tasted. The room service was really amazing and the staff and management was so friendly and really made me feel like a King. Guys you need to experience the top class service at the best hotel in Africa.

The staff made my experience great and special since they went the extra mile. The suite were very nice and cosy I would definitely recommend this place to others!

The building is looking run down inside and needs some attention. The staff on the other hand is your saving grace. Well trained abe amazing customer care attention, please take good care of all of them. I will return as service is guaranteed.

We had my friend's 40th birthday there and it was truly wonderful experience, excellent service, good food and pleasant time we had there.

The beds are super close together and it's slightly dated but it's still a nice place.

Overall very nice location. Excellent restaurant on site with great daily specials. Wifi constantly crashed however.

The rooms are spacious for the most part. If you have a double room, the beds are small and extremely close, however. Breakfast is great and the staff are all very friendly. Easy walk to the mall — great area.

Looking for thr entrance is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I was there for attending a course. Not sure about tge actual hotel services. But if its difficukt to find an entrance then I doubt the rest.

Next to Canal Walk… staff and Leigh very helpfull and professional. Arranged a pent house for Reach for a dream.

Wonderful rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and dinner! Very close to the Century City Conference Center and Tiger's Milk Century City. Canal Walk is directly behind the hotel, making it very convenient and close. The hotel also has a Woolworths right outside it's entrance. Very handy!

Great hotel. Great area. Walking distance to the mall. 10 to 15 mins to city. Its great. Breakfast is ok and staff is friendly.

My husband and I had the seafood special platter and it was delicious! Tasted lovely as well as the wine… good deal and value for money. Thank you Yanga for the friendly, efficient service. We didnt know where the restaurant was but were assisted by a kind gentleman in the reception foyer who took us uptairs in the lift. Thank you Colosseum for a lovely evening.

The hotel has the potential for greatness. Unfortunately there was a general lack of care by many of the staff especially around breakfast. It was a wonderful room but the service really put a downer on the experience. I went for breakfast Early to get to work. And there was no one to make an egg. But the reception staff was always willing to help. I would recommend for a short stay but not extended stay.

Had a wonderful stay. Rooms are well equipped with good service. Reception staff is very friendly & helpful. Special thanks to Cayla who took personal attention in getting us acquainted with the city and planning our tours.

Restaurant: We had the Seafood platter with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, oh man was it a delightfully tasty meal! Value for money but just so tasteful and mouth watering! Our waiter Simba surprised us with complimentary desert of chocolate volcano because it was our anniversary. We had a lovely experience but also the food was impecable! Recommend it any day!

A wonderful hotel, with absolutely wonderful staff! My husband and I stayed there for a week and we felt like we were staying with family, everyone was so friendly and just lovely! We couldn't have asked for anything more from a hotel or their staff. As my husband was working most of the week I was on my own most days, the hotel staff (Especially Ramesh) made sure they looked after me, organising day trips and generally being very friendly and accommodating. Each and ever…y staff member made our stay special, and they honestly couldn't have done anymore for us, there service was exceptional! We ate breakfast at the hotel each day, and it was brilliant — lots of choice and nicely fresh omelettes. We also ate in the restaurant one night, and the steaks were cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend this hotel if your heading to Cape Town, the hotel location is 15 mins away from the Waterfront in an uber, or the hotel car drive you there. Although the hotel wasn't in the city it was nice to get away from the busy areas and just chill back at the hotel. 5/5 for this hotel — we loved our stay.

Great staff. The rooms are spacious and have everything I need. Just a stone throw away from Canal Walk mall. The chauffeur is entertaining.

I don't even know where to start this review. Perhaps it should start off with walking into reception — nobody greeted us and we didn't know where the restaurant was. We went there only because it is on The Entertainer. We were seated at a semi-set table with dirty cutlery. We thought about leaving just then but it was late and we were hungry. Ordered the Butternut and Ricotta Ravioli with nepolitana sauce. I'm still unsure of what the pasta was actually filled with. My partner ordered the oxtail with rice. I got about 5 pieces of pasta — the ratio of pasta to sauce was about 20/80. The chef hadn't added any sugar or anything to balance the acidity of the sauce. I told the waitress what my concern was and she relayed the message to the chef. He then swore at her and was apparently mean and rude; so much so that she was too scared to complain about the oxtail. Again, 80% other stuff; 20% meat of which half was bones. It tasted horrible. The meat was tough and there wasn't even that much of it to make it decent. The rice has to be broken apart because it had been left out for so long. It was stodgy and gross. We landed up complaining to the manager because our waitress was so concerned about our experience.

The reason I love this Hotel is the buzz in the morning that Rene provides and her willingness to help! I wish I would possess that buzz each time I get to work! She is amazing! The hotel is clean, up market and just great!

Love the warmth of the hotel. We had lunch there as well. The food was amazing.

Very nice hotel, just not having a good experience this time. The office downstairs, its alarm went off very early in the Morning like 3am until 7. Didn't sleep much.

Everything was well, starting from security staff who provided us with information on how to get into the building and parking, reception staff gave us a warm welcome and assisted with the luggage. Directions to the places to visit was not a hassle as result we enjoyed Cape Town. Guys keep up the good work.

Great spacious (possibly inefficiently utilised) rooms. Fantastically useful and friendly staff. Recommend a cigar lounge and the balconies to be covered. More importantly, a drop off and pick up zone for easy access. Maybe a shuttle service around century city? That said, still a great venue. Immense value for money. Would definitely stay there again.
