One of the best Pizza’s I’ve ever had!

What an amazing ambiance during supper time in the restaurant.

Had some issues with our room. We had to be moved. Restaurant service is bad — Unprofessional behavior and no one is interested to listen. Great location poorly managed.

Horrid service. Waited 40 minutes before we decided to leave. Waiters take their time, they walk like they are on holiday. Had to go and ask twice for a waiter… You guys won't see me again.

Best hidden Valley, love it, the views to die for and love the beach and forest feel amazing, best place to enjoy sunsets and don't forget about the restaurant lovely dishes and desserts to choose from, last but not least the service from the staff amazing they friendly and very helpfull, especially Doris at reception was an amazing help and love her positive energy and beautiful smile, I will definitely recommend you to visit the place if you visit cape town, a must see, I will see you guys soon again 👍🏼🤗

Average food. Bad service. Great venue in an awesome location. Starter took 45 minuted to arrive. Beer took 25 minutes.

Great food, loads to do for kids but restaurant waitresses service very slow… not really complaining since we weren't in a rush but did hear a lot of others complaining.

After many years of being a loyal customer, I have decided to never return to this sinking ship of a restaurant. Dirty underplates, low stock on menu items, frozen hamburger rolls, dirty wine glasses, greasy food and cheaper substitutes in meals. Manager absent. The people in the kitchen don't care and it's evident in the horrible food.

What an absolutely amazing experience at Thorfynns today. Friendly and attentive service, great atmosphere, amazing food and a stunning venue. Our group of 15 were all pleased and had very good things to say. We will be back! Thankyou for everything!

Beautiful view and really great food, however restuarant staff are not the friendliest, definitely need to work on that, they weren't rude, just didnt feel very welcoming.

I had lunch there today and was blown away by your beautiful venue. I LOVE all the nooks and crannies and had a peek at one of your rooms. Fabulous. You have a gem of a place & if I lived down the road, I would frequent your place regularly. I will be planning a stay over and can't wait. I highly recommend this awesome venue. I pray you will be able to continue irrespective of the challenges you face. Five star in my eyes. Very friendly staff too.

We had our wedding planned for December and had to cancel. Have tried all means of contact to get our deposit back (within contractual rights) and fallen on deaf ears. We are all in a tough spot and we would’ve been understanding if the resort were having financial struggles but we have not received one response. No email apologising to those that have events booked. This is absolute daylight robbery and reflects a lack of respect for customers.

Amazing views. Very basic amenities. I would rather have a fridge that a tv. I would like a little more privacy from the other balcony.

Chimangu our Waiter was friendly and prompt. I had the vegetarian burger but sorry there weren't any sweet potato chips! My partner had hake and chips, however we felt that the portion of hake was a bit stingy. We finished off with coffee :)

Restaurant was wonderful, wide variety of food options available and as a table of 10, we all had delicious dinner.
Definitely improved, was really impressed this time around. Music was awesome, our waiter was excellent. All in all, really great evening — definitely improved in quality and service over the last year.

We recently hosted a workshop for almost 30 delegates and had the most wonderful time at Monkey Valley. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, despite working long hours. They really understand what it means to be in the service industry. I would especially like to mention Milton, who has been excellent and went out of his way to make sure our workshop was a huge success. Erica and Sheryl, the restaurant managers were amazing as well, serving us delicious meals for the week we were there. Awe-inspiring views and excellent service. I can't think of a better venue to host your next conference, workshop, meeting or just to get some yummy baked good and a cocktail — Monkey Valley is the place!

Resort, amazing! Restaurant not as much. Great views, friendly staff, very relaxing and the rooms are wonderful. Food isn't bad but very limited choice and as for our experience, availability of those few choices was also an issue. Don't book restaurant before 18h00 as that's when chef specials are available. Overall and awesome getaway experience. Take note, crown eagle rooms have shared public space which includes fridge, kitchen and lounge area.

A great hidden gem in Noordhoek. Great hospitality. Awesome little bar. Ons the amazing Noordhoek beach. Catering was well planned and the food was good quality and reminded me of home cooked meals. Whenever you are visiting Cape Town southern suburbs be sure to sleep over at least one night. Great corporate team building and break away location.

The place was amazing. Stunning views and great service. The food was also nice. The only downside was finding a spider in our bedroom.

The resort is amazing. The place is clean and the food is good. The portions during dinner and lunch were too little to my liking but maybe it was only me. I would definitely go back and recommend.

My daughters and husband took me to the restaurant for Mother’s Day lunch. We have often been-and the view is spectacular!
The food and service was utterly disappointing. We waited one hour for a started… When the main came-sirloin with 2 teaspoons of mash-it was cold… When we complained-waiter took it back-20 minutes later received it back…
When my daughter and husband said theirs was lukewarm-the waiter said okay and walked away. We had to ask him to clear the table-and not once did any staff member ask if we enjoyed our meal…
Going to the toilets was difficult-as staff members were all blocking the way… in the bathroom 2 members of staff were fighting over a broom…
Have always recommended this restaurant to locals and visitors…
But will definitely still recommend view-but unfortunately that’s it

Great view.! Wow unreal… Then the horror starts as we walked into the room. The box TV from Moses is still in the room. Would like to see a shower for a 4 * At dinner we order beef curry… The butternut was rock solid… Back in the room again no signal whatsoever on the TV and also on the Wi-Fi, and we decided to switch off everything. This all in an afternoon. As it stands now. I will not recommend!

What a stunning place! With stunning scenery and very well looked after rooms! Planning a wedding or big party? This place should definitely be on your list! Parking is a mission, and there are no dustbins around the place… Apart from that, very decent place with a very good food quality as well.

It was a beautiful venue. Beautiful views. Breath taking. But lots of inclines. I felt exhausted.

We wanted a special holiday and booked a villa for two — the most expensive and premium room in the place. We were absolutely MORTIFIED when 2 people started banging on our door to tell us they were staying with us! To add insult to injury we then discovered that our ‘premium booking’ didn’t even have a shower. When we shared our absolute shock and utter disappointment with the manager (Anthony), he decided to do absolutely nothing to appease the situation. But wait, it gets better. Anthony’s response to the fact we didn’t have a shower was “you didn’t ask for one” and when we asked him “how on earth will we wash ourselves?! ” He responded with “you can wash with a hand-bath mam”. That’s what top price and ‘premium room’ gets you at Monkey Valley.

Had the most wonderful stay there. Rooms very neat and well appointed. Dinner was superb and well priced. Service was attentive and waitress had good product knowledge which is a rarity these days. All in all a very pleasant experience. We were made to feel at home and welcome from the minute we checked in till we left. Oh and the views aren't too bad either!

A big thank you to monkey valley for hosting my daughters wedding. They are so professional and the personal touch from Mireille was incredible. We stayed for a further 4 days and had an absolute blast. Our overseas guests were very impressed with the resort. We as locals will be back very soon to enjoy the serenity and the food. The food is brilliant. Recommended to anyone who wants a weekend getaway. You really feel like you have gone to another country and it's just on our door step.

Friendly staff. Good food and views to die for. Spend the afternoon at Monkey Valley with my family. Will recommend this place to anyone.
