What a magnificent experience — views, luxurious private rooms, lovely food and swimming. Shared the presidential suite with good friends — both rooms were gorgeous. Service excellent.

To stay here is was a bucket list item… I’ve returned last night, 3 months after my fist visit, and was still blown away. The location adds to the unbelievable experience and the privateness of the suits, makes the stay tranquil. Homemade granola at breakfast is the best. The staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I’m returning again and again, and again.

We celebrated my husband’s 79’s birthday 🎂 Roy had a ball expectation exceeded. The Tapas delish delicious / white wine / glass of rosé bubbly RIQUÍSIMO. The service top 🔝 class (our waiter DeRoy I think maybe spelling not correct). Definitely it’s a venue of a COMING BACK. Xóchitl and Roy.

Best possible position and rooms. Reception can be more attentive and more informative re outlay of place, breakfast possibilities etc. Smoke alarm went off twuce by mistake, once in middle of night.
Chefs warehouse food overly rich though lovley presented. Jonathan our concierge was the best. Ice cold ocean is a must!

We were met by the dreamy and tranquil location after a long flight from joburg. The staff were friendly, bubbly and informative the whole time we spent there. We booked for 4 days. It really felt like escape from all the morbid existence of Covid. The food was really amazing. We ordered everything from all 3 Menus (room service, tapas and residents menus). I couldn’t find fault with anything. Those 4 days were serenity personified.

It’s an experience starting with the location of this exceptional facility to the service rendered by all staff. Friendly and helpful staff. Great personal service. Fantastic rooms with breathtaking views of the ocean. Safe and secure. Well done.

Tintswalo Atlantic is simply the most magical place in the world. Definitely a 6 star boutique hotel. Melissa Du Rand & Ryno Du Rand are exceptional hosts & GM's. You couldn't ask for a better duo… Food, decor, scenic view to die for & incredible service. No place I have ever been to during my travels compares to it. Luxurious but far from a stuck up venue in fact the complete opposite. Its welcoming & cosy… The Little Black Book Events & PR especially highly recommends it as a wedding venue & special occasions events.

I booked through booking. Com. Tintswalo charged me the full amount instead of the 20% stated on booking. I unfortunately had to cancel my booking 5 days ago and still did not receive any refund or even statement that they refunded me. Rather weak for 5 stars…

This is place is a gem. Neatly tucked away in nature's finest offering. Nestled by the iconic Chapman's Peak and gently caressed by the waters of the Atlantic ocean in a wrap around view, this place is more than one can ask for in a getaway not too far from the city.

This 5 star hotel is Cape Town's greatest hidden gem! Hidden in the reserve on Chapman's Peak, everything about the scenery and island suites is awe inspiring. Being so close to the ocean, you will never forget the sunsets you may watch at Tintswalo Atlantic. Paired with an exquisite restaurant, first world class and impeccable staff, this will always be a very special place to us.

Amazing hotel. Amazing food! Staff will do everything they can to accommodate you. There was something in the gift shop that was out of stock, and they had it couriered to our house personally.

Fantastic food, view… Sadly, for small things I'm not giving a 5*. I feel this level of beautiful could do with amazing service, but our toast arrived after we finished the course it was meant for & the main course was served in drips & drabs, meaning some of our guests had finished before others received their meal which is really not pleasant for everyone involved. Aside from this, it was truely beautiful food & delicious in a setting that is hard to beat! The pool & boulder beach area is perfect.

It's a bit out of the way but undoubtedly worth the drive. Best dinner we had in SA — every dish is simply perfection! Excellent service too, and you can't top that view…

Most beautiful setting in cape town and the hotel is lovely. But the dinner pricing does not match the delivery. For the same price I would suggest La Colombre. Go for sundowners if you can but don't eat there.

Best breakfast ever! But not cheap. You get what you pay for I guess. Breathtaking views. Best on a calm, windless day. But indoor seats will also spoil you with splendid views of the ocean.

Stunning spot in the beautiful Table Mountain National Park.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Tintswalo Atlantic every year since they opened, both before and after the fire. Have hosted a few intimate birthdays and I hired entire venue for my Mom 70th birthday. On every occasion the warm welcome, personalized service, friendly staff, delicious food and romantic accommodation matched the 'heavenly' location. Tintswalo Atlantic is honestly a jewel in the crown of top Cape Town experiences. Highly recommend.

Stayed there for a night over Easter. 5 star location, 2 star service.
When we got to the room, the view is outstanding but there's no personal touches what so ever. For a 5 star hotel it's all about the experience and this just didn't cut it. We received a generic welcome note in our room. For such a small hotel, they should have bothered to spend a few seconds and write our name on the note to personalise it. The porter asked us when we were going down to the pool so he could come and take our drinks order and we said we are going straight down.
When we got to the pool, no one was there and it was extremely untidy with towels scattered across the pool. I had to call reception on my own mobile phone for service because there was no one around. Not something you should do at a 5 star hotel. Reception said someone will come Down but 20 mins later no one did! So I had to call back and eventually someone bothered to come, about 45 mins after we sat down.
The evening came and we attempted to call reception to ask if we could have canapés in our room. No one picked up their phones, we tried at least 10 times. So, eventually we had to go to the restaurant and ask them. Also not what you should need to do at a 5 star hotel.
Dinner was delicious. One of the few things we enjoyed about the stay.
Breakfast came — the waiter told us what all the options are, with a pork sausage being one. I asked for that and waited 45 mins.

My favorite hotel in Cape Town, the views are stunning and so are the rooms. I also quite often pop in for dinner even though I am not staying the night. Looking for a romantic spot, this is it.

Excellent food & service. Breathtaking location. Well worth it. We enjoyed a Sunday lunch and afternoon at Tintswalo Atlantic. Booking I think is a must. One arrives at the top gate and one is picked up by the shuttle that takes you down to the lodge. The views from the top are breathtaking. The Lodge is set down below right on the Atlantic Ocean. This is fine dining and so the menu is small. Two options for starter, main course and dessert. However that's all one needs. My young children turned up their noses at the lack of kiddie options and then proceeded to clean their plates for all three courses. Now they want to go back. At R400 a head for the meal it isn't cheap for the local yet it is well worth it. To the international visitor it is a bargain. The Lodge also has great accommodation for those that want to stay over right on the ocean.

On Atlantic ocean, you can touch the water from the deck, absolutely gorgeous, great place for weddings.

Sleep over here. Amazing.

Great setting for a special occasion.

All I can say is Brilliant — grab any opportunity to get to Tintswalo.

The hotel itself is one of the only buildings in the national park around Chapmans Peak — and to say that it is secluded is a massive understatement. A small entrance on the cliff side leads you to a car park where you wait for transport. In no time an offroader came and drove us slowly down a somewhat treacherous road to the bottom of the cliff where the hotel is located. Drinks outside on the balcony and then dinner in a well-designed dining area. Tintswalo is run by a family group that has a lot of property around South Africa, and this hotel gives the impression of being a labour of love rather than ruthless business. They only have a thirty year lease on this location — at that time the buildings will be given back to the National Parks association. Not the cheapest but the quality of food and service were stunning. A very special evening.
