What an amazing weekend… home away from home. The self catering unit so spacious and beautiful, the weekend was nice and peaceful. My family really enjoyed the stay we checked in 26/4/19 — 28/4/19 for my husbands bday weekend away. Would def go back.

We would just like to thank the owner and staff of zesty guesthouse for accommodating us at the last minute. We had initially booked into a nearby hotel and was incredibly disappointed by how dirty the room was that we immediately looked for accommodation elsewhere and this place was able to assist us. Your place is beautiful and comfortable. If we ever visit Port Edward again, this is where we will stay.

Dis place is heaven… Its home away frm home. Dnt knw if dat makes sense but I loved it. We all loved it. Thanx to da guys mr manci and mr nyathi. For checking up on us and making us feel welcomed. We definitely coming back here… I highly recommend dis place… Its da plc to b.

Zesty Guesthouse is placed between the main south coast road and the beach, about 3 to 4 kms from the beach, so don't expect sea views, even at this price. A short dirt road up to Ugu reservoir takes you to a panhandle driveway. We paid R650 per night for room 2, a small bedroom and en suite toilet, basin, shower. TV was SABC 1, SABC News, Supersport 1 & 3, MSmile. Wi-Fi was not offered, I had to ask. There was nothing wrong with it, it was clean and nicely decorated, but we thought it was overpriced. Previously we stayed in room 3 which had a fridge and microwave and was spacious with a lovely big bed, so a year later for a much higher price we expected the same at the least. The property is not fenced and the parking area and panhandle driveway is not well lit, so security is a bit of a concern. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I suggest a 'book' about what is on offer in the area.

Clean crash pad. Asked for Sunday breakfast on checking-in on Saturday afternoon and were told we should have pre-booked our breakfast… So no we cannot help you. Definitely not a place to go with children.

From out side to inside everything is 100%, its a nice place to stay in port edward.

We're here for 2 nights — what a nice place. Already feeling so relaxed. Lovely setting, tranquil, peacefully, very neat — I love the quietness of the place — our room was really very comfortable. Would really recommend Zesty's. The only thing sad : Wi-Fi connection irregular; we only had a few TV channels & couldn't change channels;

We arrived at Zesty Guesthouse on Friday 25th September. On the way, the manager phoned to see what time we were coming so that our room was prepped. We told her 6pm, but plans changed and we told them we were coming earlier. The cleaning lady, Jane made sure our room was spotless — even though we told her we didn't mind waiting. Jane welcomed us and did our check in. She was super! So friendly and happy to help! The whole building was beautifully decorated and our room wa…s gorgeous. We were provided with towels, soap and even some rusks that were delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here! Easy access to Port Edward / close to the beach / safe / ample parking. Wow!

This is a great place too stay, there staff make you feel right at home. If you need a place to relax in then look no further.
