Lovely place, awesome service.

Looks good but I haven't had a chance to go in.

What a awesome place. Neat with very friendly and competent staff. Only a pleasure to stay there. Close to everything. Truly a home away from home. The restaurant has a fantastic Shef and a awesome menu. Not to expensive truly worth every cent and nothing is to much of Effort for the staff and management. I recommend the avondale every time.

Better than expected. Beats value of other hotels in the area and the staff are amazing and very attentive. Room amenities are great. Unfortunately no liquor sold on premises.

Friendly staff and the healthiest breakfast in the hood.

Neat and tidy. What I expected.

Had breakfast there with friends and tbh it was nice. The facilities are also good and clean. But the service from the booking assistant named Courtney left a bitter taste in my mouth. She messed up my reservation and did not bother to right the wrong. As a result I was inconvenienced having to look for alternative lodging and our party had to be separated. I had booked a good 3-4 weeks in advance. When I called to find out when I needed to pay, by my bad luck, Courtney answered the phone! she told me I was paying way too much and she could offer me a better rate. Naturally, I accepted, she advised me to cancel my reservation via Central Reservations so she could reload it with the revised rate. She said she would call me back but she never did. Infact I had to call back more than once to find out what was going on. And only after constantly calling back was I told that all of a sudden the hotel was fully booked and my new booking was actually not loaded! All she could say for herself was a pathetic “there’s nothing I can do, the system did not cancel your previous reservation in time”. I am still so angry because I was looking forward to that stay. So if you going to stay at Avondale, pleeeeeease do yourself a favour and avoid dealing with Courtney like the plague, ask for literally, anybody else.

I made a booking and it was messed up by a Courtney. I am so mad! Its so unprofessional. She told me she will make a booking for me after advising me to cancel the one I had made and then doesn’t call back to tell me there was a complication. When Icall back to find out, I was told its fully booked. So inconvenienced.
