They really are home away from home, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was incredible! it is a cozy and very clean and neat!

Great Place. My partner and I stayed at Birchtree for one night and were very pleased with the accommodation. The room was spotless and the bedding was fresh. Amenities and appliances worked well. Staff also friendly and helpful. Well located I highly recommend.

My husband and I booked in late to Birch Tree and were treated with so much hospitality and friendliness. We had travelled from Kzn and the room and cottage were lovely. Super breakfast. Tku Leigh and Alan Willows.

Great B&B in the suburbs! Before I booked I came across at least one review raving about the manager, Esther. I can now confirm that everything you read about her is true, she really is that good. Everything worked and my room had quality fittings and furniture throughout. On a chilly winter's evening, I had a choice between the wall-mounted heater or the electric blanket on a lovely firm bed with plump pillows. There are thick curtains on the windows. Even the bathroom fittings look and feel like they've barely been used. It goes without saying that everything was spotless and security very good. Awesome value for what I paid!

Absolutely amazing place!

The Team led by Esther was very professional & went out of their way to make my stay very comfortable. The room was always clean and breakfast was always worth looking forward to. Management should consider installing airconditioners in preference to the fans.

Lived nearby for 25 years and drove past almost daily, never took much notice. WOW! what a little gem of a place!, lovely room, with all details covered from tea and coffee☕ to the shampoo. James the manager warm and welcoming and Wisdom the breakfast preparer and waiter just great guys. Wish other places had such great staff.

Loved my stay, a great place to hideaway within the city.

Very neat, lovely rooms, perfect place for a getaway. It was our anniversary and the staff catered to us and provided champagne, chocolates and candles. We had a beautiful time and we are looking forward to returning there soon. Staff is professional and friendly. Prices are fair and its a lovely place. I recommend it for anyone. Thanks to Esther.

Friendly staff, great food, if the place had electric fencing I wouldve rated it 5. However for the price you are paying you getting a great deal! Awesome place.

A very tranquil bed and breakfast in Olivedale, Randburg, Johannesburg. The place has secured parking, lovely shaded parking thats created by the green foliage. They have rooms to accommodate large families of six people. There are nearby amenities less than a kilometre. There's free Wi-Fi and I enjoyed the leather lazyboy chairs. They have a large pool for all to enjoy.

The toom I stayed in was very spacious very good for family.

The place and staff are wonderful, the only problem: we booked and paid through Airbnb and there was a mix up, a double booking happened, but was solved at the end.

Very clean peaceful place … Karen is a wonderful host … goes the extra mile… short staffed Sat but ran the place professionally for the day … made all the breakfast single handed and it still was amazing … Thank you for a lovely stay …

What an awesome Nice place to stay! Selfcatering unit is very clean, neat and absolutely beautifull! Breakfast was Delicious, will recommend to anyone who would like a peacefull homely stay!
