We are greatful for time spent and would recommend it for families to consider, rooms are spacious and provide the privacy that you require.

Never experienced such a horrible treatment. Facilities were in poor conditions: wobbly tables and fridges, aircon out of order, doors that don't close and loose shower doors. The latter broke at the first use, filling the entire bathroom with thousands of small sharp pieces of shattered glass. That costed my husband and me multiple bleeding cuts, some quite bad. We received no help from the staff; we got no compensation offered either. Moreover, the owner behaved as a typical weasel and claimed that we broke the glass deliberately when allegedly fighting in the room, which was an obvious lie. He demanded payment for the damage and called the police, in the meantime blocking the exit from the premises with his own car. The police took our side; however, we didn't feel safe to stay in the place and fled. We had to look for other accommodation in Kempton Park late at night.

I had my wedding on the 4th of May. My brides maids and I booked a room to dress ourselves on the morning of the wedding. We had such a pleasant experience. Muzi, the manager on duty was quite helpful. Great service. The environment is awesome. The fountain in the reception area is spectacular. It provided a very nice back ground for our photos. Thank you African Tribe Guest Lodge.

There is to much wrong to begin even mentioning. The only saving grace was one individual Mosy trying to sort out all the problems. Very disappointing! No telephone in the room Only a few TV channels many are the same channel. No glasses in the room Rats in the roof can hear them all night No hot water Hinges and door all make a noise. All doors do not close properly No shelf for toiletries No Dustin in the room Choose between light or electric blanket only one plug for both.

Beautiful venue for small functions. Excellent food.

Beautiful interior in almost all rooms. But need to say that Catering is of just one star as the kitchen department is understaffed often not on time and feeding us little food with lack of variety on the plate. Should hire more people withing in the BB.

An excellent venue. Wife and I celebrated our 70th birthdays at African Tribes Lodge and Conference and were totally satisfied. The event was awesome and the staff very friendly and helpful.

I had my 70th at African Tribes on 6Th February 2016. My son had his 50th there in July 2015. Both occasions were amazing. Food superb. Betty goes out of her way to assist. Just tell them what you want and they do the rest. Prices are also the best. I can really recommend this venue. You wont regret it.

BAD BAD service! ; — (very Disappointed! I booked there for the night of my Wedding and when I got there Sunday to have a look, my room is not the one booked for and PAID for! and tell me oh the room I wanted they dont have it anymore! and on web it says 3/4 Honeymoon suites and Sunday he told me there only 1! ; — (and on top of that! He cant talk to me when I asked him something he raise his voice! my Hubby to be told him please dont talk to her like that! so im NOT happy with this at all! ; — ( (
