Very disgusting and dirty showers — my shower cap was very dirty, literally feels like it hasn’t been washed for years.

The free 30 min intervals shuttles makes life easy and the check in is smooth. Nice room service and the prices are more than competitive.

Great place for an overnight stay close to the airport which is literally 5 minutes away by shuttle bus.

Staff are thieves, lost 60 USD electronic cigarette that was stolen by staff member by pool. Hotel not bad if you don't mind loosing your valuables.

The greatest collection of lobotomy patients… I have never in my life experienced staff service on such a shocking level. From the salad that took 4 hours to make to the 30 minutes to unlock a conference venue. That being said there are 2 or 3 staff members such as Roger who are competent and do help. Other than that there is no saving grace for this hotel.

Rooms were large and neat. Bathroom was huge and faced away from the room. Room offered teas and coffees. Good DSTV channels. Extensive room service menu but a R45 tray charge is over the top. My bathroom door didn't close or lock which made privacy difficult especially when sharing with a colleague. Buffet breakfast is R185 pp. Very close to ORT International and Emperors Palace. Would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at the premier hotel! I was in a suit so the room was a little larger with a lounge and study area! The staff were friendly and helpful! I also presented a conference at the same venue the following day and the banqueting manager helped with with all my “depends” and nothing seemed to much effort!

Beautifully decorated hotel and very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms, knowledgeable wine steward even though the wine selection isn’t extensive. Happened to stay towards the end of June during a cold Joburg spell. Sadly the air conditioner was set to over compensate for external temps. Result is that the internal temps in the restaurant were more tropical than pleasant. Unpleasantly so. Another negative was the two rather slow elevators took forever to reach the eighth floor.

Beautiful place. Breakfast is scrumptious. Enough safe parking for cars. Good for business and social meetings.

The shuttle from the airport was very nice, all of the staff are extremely nice and speak very good English. The room service was delicious and affordable. Drinks at the bar were also very nice and affordable.

There are shuttles between the airport and the hotel every half hour. The rooms have a reversible air conditioning.

The hotel is situated very near the airport. Very convenient if you come by plane. Airport shuttle service is available every half an hour from the hotel. The rooms are very neat and clean. Free Wi-Fi available all over the hotel. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Tea and coffee are also provided in the rooms. The hotel also make provision for dinner. A-la Carte or Buffet dinner is served in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast are also served. Continental and full English breakfast. In Room dinning are also available. Conference facilities are also at the hotel with the capacity of 800 delegates in 9 conference rooms. Gym and wellness facilities is also located in the hotel. Safety boxes for valuables are in all rooms.

The food of course was excellent, I can't fault anything. The staff was awesomely friendly and everyone from every corner greeted me (I believe they do this to all their guests) the shuttle driver was great company too, I enjoyed my rides. The rooms are neat and cosy. The restaurant, has that romantic and calming feel. My little concern was that it seemed to me like bathrooms (ladies) were not checked frequently because some guests do leave a mess behind themselves. I also think they should invest on the quantity of their ironing boards and irons. Otherwise, I loved especially the friendliness of their staff.

Due to bad booking I arrived at OR Tambo far too early in order to check-in at the hotel. I approached the desk at the Premier Hotel info booth and explained my situation. He assisted me by calling the hotel and requesting whether they could make exception to the 2pm check-in time and was told they would be happy to assist. I was greeted happily on my arrival and all were happy to assist when checking in to the hotel. Its always reassuring when you receive a wonderful smile on the other side of the counter. The only setback was that the buffet was not available for dinner for 3 days of my stay without any reason. Besides the aforementioned setback, my stay was delightful and my room was comfortable and spacious even though it rained all through my stay.

This hotel's servicecape is absolutely beautiful. Their rooms are stunning, with colours and textures that correspond so beautifully. A personal touch of a welcome note with my name on the TV screen was just a cherry on top! Love it ❤

My favourite hotel for 1 night layovers and day rooms. Hotel is very close to the airport and has a free shuttle every half an hour. Hotel rooms are large and comfortable, good air conditioning. People are always very friendly and I like it that you're welcomed with a drink (juice or water).

It's OK. Make sure that you understand that this hotel is NOT at the Airport. You will need transportation of some kind to get to the airport. Otherwise it was reasonable. The air-conditioning unit is not a split unit and is very noisy. The shower head was broken, obviously maintenance needs some improvement.

What a beautiful hotel. Incredible service. Only reason for 4 stars were that two lights in the room were not working, and one blew and cracked as soon as it was switched on — potentially dangerous. Otherwise — a luxurious, comfortable stay.

Good experience. Staff very friendly and eager to help. Conveniently located nice rooms. Room service offers a R 90 burger that is a great deal if you are tired and don't want to go out or join the buffet. Beer is cold. Breakfast is good too.

Nice hotel with friendly and polite service. Room is spacious but a few items getting a little drab. Elevators are very small so make sure you allow enough time if using the elevator during peak times. All in all a pleasant stay.

Good hotel for a night of transit in Johanesbourg, ten minutes from the Airport via the free shuttle (every half hour). Welcome with a fruit juice and a smile. Reasonable price. We liked the buffet at will good and varied for less than €15. Excellent Wi-Fi connection.

Used to recommend hotel to others, but will not be doing so again. Firstly was given the wrong information sheet to sign when checking in with someone else's details which I had to point out. Also someone else was checked into the same room and entered the room with a key card which breached both privacy and safety. When complaining I was told the manager was not available. Half an hour later I was told management had been informed yet no contact had been made. Upon coming back later in the evening there was a fruit plate, 250ml wine and alcohol with a general apology letter. I find the fact that management evaded the personal contact highly unacceptable given the seriousness of the error and the gesture insincere and lacking thought. I did not ask for any free items especially when against my dietary requirements, what I asked for was to speak with a manager — a more customer centric attitude would have been the appropriate response for an establishment presenting themselves as professional.

This hotel is best of many worlds it has rooms available for hire from small to large catering for whatever function, hotel rooms of various categories available. The pricing is great and fair compared to the rates paid at the Hotels directly situated in the airport. The toilets are clean and tidy staff is very kind and humble. General appearance was tidy and neat. The Wi-Fi connection is just the best no security recommendation and is super fast. There is an hourly shuttle that travels to the airport, welcome drinks on arrival.

Service is out of this world, location is a bit shady, don't go out of hotel unless necessary or riding a respectable transportation service, if staying overnight for connection or need to be close to Tmbo airport, excellent place. Good accommodations, excellent breakfast offering and fun swimming pool, gym is limited but for business trip it will suffice.

Nice hotel with good service. Greeted with a glass of sherry upon arrival, but I don't know if this was due to a Coca Cola conference being held at the time of my stay. Plenty of friendly helpful staff.

Front desk staff were nice. Shuttle goes to the airport at every hour. Nice breakfast. Room facilities were good too.

Very cosy place with friendly and efficient staff. My stay was pleasurable and I wish I could stay longer. It is not always that one finds all these characteristics all at once. From the porters outside and the adequately manned reception, I will recommend this place at all times.

Very high end 4 stat hotel. Stayed there many times. Management striving to deliver top notch hospitality service.

This hotel is a hotspot for car theft. If you are looking for a hotel to stay, and you have a car, this hotel has to be your LAST option. I stayed there for only 3 days, and on my second day my car was stolen in the hotel parking right in front of their reception and in front of the noses of their security. That a guest’s car is stolen, right under the noses of the hotel security in broad day light and the hotel security does not raise any alarm (until a guest finds out on his own) just demonstrates how weak the security at this hotel is, and might even suggest that elements within the security are part of this syndicate. Seeing on the hotel camera footage my car being driven out by the thieves, right by the security gate, in front of the security officer, during the day was extremely heartbreaking. It stinks that a hotel with 4 star status, which should have high security commensurate with such status becomes a hotbed for car thieves and guests lose their highly priced assets. To show that they never learnt anything from the first incident and that this was not an isolated case, and also the possibility of a syndicate with internal links, at least 2 more car thefts occurred at the hotel after mine.

We had booked and paid room 2 months ago and we changed hotel without notice because they are full. The hotel took us is lower-level. 2 days before we send an email reminder that we never replied.

Great retreat just before a long flight. Great food and happy staff. Rooms are warm and spacious. Try it on your next trip.

Clean and modern appearance. Decent looking bar and restaurant. The breakfast is quite satisfying. Rooms are spacious and there's free Wi-Fi. Location near the airport means you're sort of in the middle of no where, but it's great for a short layover. Biggest drawbacks are a bathroom fan which never shuts off and walls which are sort of thin.

Great place to be, good food and nice people to host you when you are around. Gym and other facilities are kind like hidden. I think a bigger gym and a trainer will be very necessary.
