Well service is not hospitable, warm nor friendly and unwelcoming. Hosting staff are hasty to get money with little to none customer satisfaction. Service at this place is of a dictatorship even the working staff aren't free to interact with customers,
Rooms are felthy, untidy and full of spider webs. Internet connectivity is poor and generall rooms conditions are in a delapitating state are Hazard to health and safety people.

Convenient typical guest lodge close to the airport, Large enough rooms with DStv but limited channels.

Rooms neat but old. Breakfast is adequate. All in all a good place to stay while in town for an overnight stay.

Not recommended. My stay started out good, but unfortunately got worse over time. The staff were friendly but entirely unhelpful each time I enquired about a service that was advertised at their reception. The room was neat but the shower especially was very dirty, forcing me to clean out the drain myself before I could use it. The room also included some kind of heating system that made strange noises the whole night through making it challenging to sleep. The food from the resturant tasted good but was overpriced for what you get. I could get a better meal at the KFC just up the road for less money. Finally, the lack of any hand soap in the room was disappointing. The one good point is that it's cheaper than a lot of other guesthouses in the area. However, personally I'd rather pay slightly more for a better experience.

Comfortable and close to airport with shuttle services. People are very friendly and accommodating.

At least a warm cup of coffee in the morning, leaving with the first shuttle. That will already make a difference! Those complaining, you get what you pay for. The pictures were taken, when the place opened, for the first time.

A well established resort easy to find and accsess and reasonable.

I am totally disgusted with this B&B. They were supposed to collect me from the airport after midnight when I flew back to SA. Two days before my arrival, I still phoned and confirmed with the owner / manager. Upon my arrival, there was nobody to collect me. I subsequently had to take a taxi to take me there. They didn't even bother to open the gate and let me in. The taxi driver then took me to a very very nice guesthouse (Blue Mange Guesthouse). The owners there were extremely friendly and helpful! NEVER again Aiport Inn B&B.

Bad. 1st got stuffed in mould room. Upgrade got a room with no aircon. Wifi dont work. No TV as they changing block by block. Staff just say sorry. Very bad. It is expensive for a tiny room with nothing as advettised. Very bad We had to phone as they dont answer the gate. Really disgusting.

Great location relative to the Airport. Shuttle included. Serves 3 meals (breakfast included). Has two gates to be collected from by uber when you need to get to festival mall. Several different room types.

Friendly service, neat and tidy, cheap and affordable. Only downfall was that the TV in the room did not work.

Only 5min per hotel shuttle, hourly, from the airport. Simple, clean accommodation with nice garden and pool. Ideal for Stoppover.

Great rooms, close to the airport, and friendly staff. Don't expect many television channels, but the Wi-Fi works great. And make sure you go early for breakfast because they run out of food pretty early.

Our flight was delayed and phone them to ask if the shuttle can please wait for 2 minutes… yes 2 minutes and they refuse point blank. We had to wait another hour and this after traveling for 11 hours. On arrival they request us to pay and this after we paid weeks in advance. We arrived the Friday before and the shuttle was late (20 minutes past the hour) Rooms and bedding need a fresh up. You don't need my business and you will never get mine again.

Eco friendly house I can hear the sound of birds in the morning. The distance from airport is also good. Breakfast is awesome~

Close to the air port. Convenient to drop in overnight. Well priced good hospitality. They just need to sort out the showers that don't have hot water, but are perfect for those hot summer nights. Place needs a bit of an up grade, as it's aging a bit.

I would definitely recommend the Airport Inn for a stay over closet the airport. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Room was nice and clean and the gardens and swimming pools definitely make the place look pretty.

As I am writing this review we are sitting outside of the gate in our car waiting for the sunrise. We checked in at 4pm, drove out to grab dinner and a movie with a friend, and came back at 11:30pm. We assumed we are free to come in an out of this establishment like a real hotel. At no point did the staff tell us there was a curfew! The other reviewer is right. What if there is a medica emergency? How would the tenants inside get out of the compound? The management should really consider this as a safety issue for their clients.

Hooo what a bad experience I had/ have! I dont even think I will ever use nether refer someone to this bnb. Staff members (2 receptionist ladies) are very rude and unhelpful to the guest, for the night of 25th july 2017. What happens is I booked in through telephone call on Monday morning to check in for tuesday so all was fine. I was specific enough to tell the lady that I need a s double bed not 2 single beds which they put together to make double bed — i. Really dislike that. She said fine now on my arrival they took me to the room which I mentioned I dont want, so they moved me to the double bed now to find out they charge me more… Im suppose to pay 495 and I ended up paying 550 ahhhhh 55.00 difference, how do u steal from ur guest. For them to refund my change is a hassle I had to argue with them and they r witnessing lies against me. Im very unhappy with their service its really not processional more so the heater in the room where I am is not, working and they knew it long time but they act as if its all new to them. I mean its winter, wheres their maintance guy? To check if all things are going well.?

Before I travel I made reservation over phone and the lady at reservation desk actually did not make my reservation and she was talking to me acting as if she is recording my reservation details. They have newly constructed rooms, and old rooms which are constructed quite a long time ago as the interior design speaks. As I reach reception first shock I discovered that reservation lady did not reserve any room for me. Second, I was given an old room with the price of new rooms and the room was full of cigarette smell (although I requested for a non-smoking room). This is my personal experience with this lodge. I stayed in this lodge everytime I travel for holiday passing by Johannesburg but this time I was very shocked with the arrangement.

Nice guesthouse for a room before flight from Joburg airport. Check in and check out we really fast. Breakfast was included in rate and was fine, but not spectacular. Beds are a little hard but very comfortable for me. There are a couple cute cats wandering around the property which give a homey feel especially with the garden. There was a wall heater in the room which there wasn't a controller for. Would have been nice to be little warmer in winter temperatures, but overall was ok. No problems with bathroom and cleanliness. Nice to have free airport shuttle! Would stay again, especially at the low price. It's not fancy but felt safe.

A very very bad experience. My employee arranged that she can vacate her room at 4:30 as her plain was leaving 5:30. At 4:30 the gates was locked with NO Security and NO staff anywhere. Her lift was standing on the other side of the fence but she could not get out. The "EMERGENCY" as well as Hotel telephone number was just ringing. After 5 a Bus arrived and she got out but missed her flight. She had to pay for a new flight as well as a cab in Cape Town. This B&B is now blacklisted at my Company. What if there was a medical emergency and they could not get out/Ambulance could not get in? What if people died? NEVER AGAIN. We will rather pay that extra and stay in a safe environment!

Conveniently close to the OR Tambo airport. The shuttle service was good and the Wi FI worked well. The room was comfortable enough and there is lots of outside space set in nice gardens. Nice free breakfast, Dinner menu is basic but reasonable. All in all good value for money especially if you need a safe and convenient place to sleep over for a night or two.

Clean and tidy, basic and safe. Free shuttle bus from OR Tambo Shuttle Bus station at the airport is great, 5-10 minutes drive to guesthouse. (Hourly pick up is from when they leave the guesthouse, not arrive at the airport! That's 10-20 minutes later) Older simple rooms (was it a retirement village before? ), but serve their purpose. Arrived on a freezing cold July night, room cold as the oil central heating is turned on when you arrive. Brrrr. TV, kettle, own bathroom, very simple menu for dinner, but hey, the fact a B&B offers dinner was good. (Slow service for quick meals though, in a very cold dining room! ) Free Wi-Fi, but tough to get connected. I would pay more and go to a larger chain hotel next time, but they were a simple, safe, cheap, honest place that had a nice bed behind a locked door.
