Nice relaxing tranquil place.

Had my Granny's 90th Birthday Bash there, it was amazing! The hotel not only is rich in history, Mark Twain was rumoured to stay there and the hotel is 120 years old, but it is also rich in the calibre of staff it hires. Sharon and her team are beyond phenomenal, nothing was too difficult, too inconvenient or too much. Sharon's kindness, expertise and willingness to assist in every way shape and form made the function a huge success. The food was delicious and there was more than enough to sustain a big family like ours. The ambience, the cultural experience and Sharon and team. Top notch! If you've not been to the grand, you ain't grand! Thanks Sharon

Its my First tym visit in this Hotel maar tjooo. No Tv's, No Wifi passwords: Wifi is there for decoration, no one knows a password. Yho ncncn it is not safe at all, iv waited outside for almost 4 minutes, ther was no receptionist in the desk to open for me a door I pressed the rbell ten tym the guy was busy helping on the bar. This place is boring, I will never in my life come here. I thought I gonna bring my friends and family here. Nop Its 1Rated for me for neatness on the rooms only. Its not good at all Haisuka Grand Hotel, waiste of money.

My stay at The Grand was enjoyable. The staff is approachable, well spoken and well mannered. The food ooof so amazing I loved every meal.

Spacious Hotel in the Central heart of Portelizabeth City. 'Grand' is a fitting name for it because of its beauty and cleanness!

Both the staff and environment make one to feel at home. The beds are confortable. This place has made me fall in love with PE.

They have beautiful venue to hire out for events and they are so friendly and helpful.

A comfortable bed in a clean room with a clean Shower-room and toilet. Quaint late 1800 are architecture with more than acceptable modern comfort. Staff are quiet, helpful and welspoken. Room price was reasonable and certainly value for money. No comment with regards meals as no meals were taken or asked for. On street parking, but when asked, secure parking was provided for my vehicle loaded with equipment I shall certainly make use of the Grand Hotel in future.

Perfect accommodation for those who want a luxurious place to sleep. Food was excellent and at a very reasonable price. The staff have gone out of their way to make me feel at home.

I enjoyed the historical feel and the cozy bar. Good services, just make sure to ask for a garage as the area is known for break-in and theft.

During our stay here, the hotel was clearly still undergoing a massive revamp and upgrade, but everything it's still lacking as a result of the renovations, is made up for 10 times by the awesome manager and her team who really went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel at home! The rooms are comfortable and have been upgraded to maintain their old world charm. The dinners we had from the hotel restaurant were excellent value for money and really delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating and even with all our strange requests, nothing was too much trouble! Thank you for making our stay in PE so pleasant! From Wes, Rozanne and Abby ;)

Historical old building but it has a dodgy feel to it. The area where it's situated is also inhabited by drug dealers so be careful around here at night.

The Hotel can be so proud of its staff and the beautiful well kept rooms and facilities.
I truly enjoyed my stay, Sharon and her staff saw to my every need and took such good care of me and my 3 year old Daughter, we felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. The Grand Hotel is one of PE's hidden gems and I would recommend it as the place to stay.
