Last visit in November was not bad. But now the hotel lacks basic services — no bar soap in the bathroom, no water or any free drink for dinner (all inclusive restaurant offers slow service or no staff at all), cleaning of lamp shades (hundreds of flies inside) and furniture. Room lamps (main bulbs) are very weak and provide no efficient light. Most staff look like they are forced to do some very unpleasent job : (

After traveling through many different states and countries I remember when I came back to Trigan how happy I was with this hotel. Yes sure it's not Kempinski, but after my consecutive 4th year staying here I can safely say that this is a very nice choice when looking for hotel in high Tatras. There is plenty of great food to select from, lots of salads and deserts, meat is also usually tasteful. Rooms are clean with stunning views to the valley of Podtatranská dolina… You definitely get what you pay for and more. Just don't expect too much in terms of room equipment. I strongly recommend you to stay in this area and in Trigan when looking for a vacancy.
