Good staff, cosy and custom looking rooms in a calm rural environment. Really fine food in their restaurant.
The staff was very friendly. Although they didn't speak any English we managed to get everything settled without any hickups during our whole stay. A decent breakfast was also included. You have 2 options to choose from in advance. After arriving in the evening (which was already pretty late) we were able to get a couple of cocktails in our room. After our 6 week road trip in different countries these were like heaven-sent — sooo good. And the price of them — for 2 cocktails we basically paid the same as we pay for 1 cocktail back home. If the restaurant hadn't closed we would have ordered more. Our room could have used some design related tweaks but in overall it was nice. The number of possible outlets in the room was quite bad. If you need to charge multiple devices at a time you have to get creative. Traffic noise starts pretty early in the morning. And just across the street was a rooster who just didn't want to stop crowing. So no late mornings — at least on the street side of the building.
