It was not clear from the listing that the self-catering accommodation we chose had a shared rather than private kitchen. For this price, we stayed elsewhere in Slovakia not only with a private kitchen but also a separate living room — to get this here would have cost much more than it was worth, so price/quality ratio here is not good. The owner did not speak a word of English and was not particularly helpful/friendly. The complex itself is located in the midst of a non-descript village, and the "balcony" advertised for our room was in fact just a back door that led into the main street. This was the only disappointing accommodation we've had in Slovakia — you can do better than this!
