Have occasionally ate at Cali's at Park Avenue Hotel, because of the ambience and relative quiet for winding down after a long week at work. There's been a few changes to the management and concept of the place over the past few years and have found the current iteration to be average in food quality, while being a bit on the pricey side. In the past they used to serve Hofbrau on tap too but now they switched to the bottle, which makes the place lose a bit of its appeal for me.

Good place. It was near my work for a 3 week business trip. The pool is okay if not crowded. Gym was good too, a little hot. The rooms aren't huge (at least my deluxe level wasn't). Just a bed, small desk, and bathroom. No chair except a small one at the desk. It's across the street from the Star Vista which has a ton of places to eat, candy stores, fresh fruit, and pharmacy stores if needed. Worst part… the shower would randomly switch from cool water to burning hot, every single shower. However, the desk staff, room cleaning service, and breakfast staff were great. Breakfast here is huge too.

Short walk to the Star Performing Art Theatre, top floor of the Star Vista. Nice friendly staff, clean bathroom but room is small and water clotted in sink and bathtub. Housekeeper should have checked the room. Hotel breakfast is quite good.

The rooms are clean and tidy. Environment is soothing, suitable for a good night's rest. Being in a good and accessible location, it helps.

Was there for a meal and drinks. The place was renovated to suit modern tastes and had a cosy ambience to it. Food and drinks were of excellent quality and there was nothing to complain about in that department. The wait staff were courteous and wore their smiles like a badge. Overall, an excellent place no doubt.

Excellent hotel, the team make the stay extremely pleasurable. Really well situated with the MRT Station just opposite. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel and staff. Clean rooms and nice breakfast. It’s also close to the star vista and metro station.

Good if you are staying for a longer period of time — they are better suited to serving them. Very close to an extensive food court, Starbucks, couple of bars. Super convenient if you work for one of the tech firms close by. If you are a tourist, not so much.

Very nice hotel and very good staff. I always enjoy staying here. Rooms are Nice, clean and tidy. Every time I am in Singapore I stay there. Close is Star Vista mall and lots of food courts like Holland village. MRT is next to it so you are anywhere within a short time.

Gem of a hotel for access to nearby Rock Auditorium for concert go-ers. Check in was a breeze and handled well. Room was pleasant eventhough many years have passed since my first visit. Not many hotels could hold against the test of time so it was all good for me.

Really a hemp and linen land, a good house fine, Zhong has ants. The service is general, the smile is sweet to have no emotion. The only OK is convenient transportation.

I was there doing a personal event for my client and I must say the stuff they are extremely friendly! And I tried the food that you was amazing! And even though I was carrying trolley and luggages the stuff there was extremely helpful with my stuff! The venue is very pretty too.

The atmosphere was great! The best part is the Cali cafe there which gives students 50% off main courses on most days! Highly recommend.

Basically it has lots of private schools and clinics. Not many restaurants around. Only got a restaurant, a pub, Starbucks and dessert shop. Lots of parking lots.

Limited amenities at hotel but there's more behind at Rochester mall. Carpark at basement is a tad tight. A few Cafes and cozy restaurants are just about the highlights of the place. Several schools and tutorial classes behind ensure some footfalls. Sixty40 has surprisingly good food but waiting time can be up to 20min for a main course.

Had a very pleasant stay over the New Year. Environment is clean and quiet. Rooms are well planned and comfortable. Good coffee house (Cali's) serves great fresh pizzas. Transport is easy. Near Buena Vista MRT. Rochester Mall within walking distance. Front office staff are efficient and helpful. Good for small families on vacation and want to stay away from hustle and bustle of city centre.

Stayed in Rochester's. Room was small, was expecting better swimming pool. However, the price for such hotel with gym isnt really bad.

Great location, hotel near MRT, very convenience. The Hotel is very clean, staffs are polite, u can smell greens when u walk out to the hotel, good place to stay for your visit in SINGAPORE. The only one thing is the room is small.

There is a huge variety in size of the different rooms, and the breakfast is really bad, but other than that I think it's pretty reasonable value for money and a great location. The staff actually know what they're doing too, and are really helpful. Plus the pool is great. If you are staying there, shell out the extra cash to get an upgraded room, it will be worth it.

Good. Clean. Free Wi-Fi. Good coffee. Convenient. Room is a bit small.

The bar is marvelous. Enjoy the time there. Food is great too.

Most amazing thing was the robot service! We ordered room service and it was delivered by a really cute and smart Robot!

I stayed in 2 different rooms. The first room was tiny with not even enough room to swing a ferret, and this was called a superior room!. There was a desk in the room, but by the time the hotel phone and a desk light was on the table, there was hardly any room for my PC. As I was not staying long I didn't want to unpack but the room was so small there was not even the space to put by bag down and have it open. I pushed the bed across a bit so that I could. The second room was a 1 bedroom suit and what a comparison with the first room. It was only $30-40 more which made me think I was shafted for the first room, and the suite came with a larger bedroom than I had had the previous stay as well as another lounge/kitchen room of a similar size. The bathroom was also much bigger. Washing machine, fridge/freezer, 2 TV's sofa and small kitchen area with hob, microwave. Based on just the first room (called a Superior boom, but should have been labelled "Basic micro") I would have said skip this hotel as the rooms are so small and very high priced, but the second stay with the suite was so much better. Cleaning in the first room was OK, but was a bit limited in the second room, a sweet wrapper on the floor remained the whole of the stay. Really well placed as a business hotel as it was close to the junction of 2 railway lines and also some good bus lines. Then the Star Mall just across the road gives some good dining places when you don't want to go out.

Place is not that easy to find but still ok. Has quite a medium sized pool good enough for 3-4 families at the same time. Conference rooms are great! Have not used their rooms though so cannot comment on that. Staff so far are all friendly, approachable and helpful.

The pool is beautiful and the gym has enough machines. It's great that the bar/restaurant downstairs is open 24/7. The rooms are a bit small but the showers are nice. Having the handy phone free to borrow with free 4g was great!

Out from the town and there is a mall nearby with food and groceries. Wifi speed is good.

Nice hotel for business trips — not so close to the city center, but MRT is nearby. Very comfortable rooms with lots of equipment. Good breakfast.

I like that this place is really peaceful and quiet, and the rooms are big. They are more like serviced apartments. The Swimming pool is not for laps. More for chilling out. Never tried the breakfast. Stayed only one night.

Hotel is good, but the breakfast staff is not professional at all, especially the egg bar staff. Pls have someone who can handle the job at frontline to serve your customers.

If you want a hotel with peaceful surroundings, this is a good choice. There are 2 small malls beside it which makes it convenient. The oool.

Good hotel, but I wouldn't say great. Nice rooms, friendly staff, plenty of places to eat nearby. Rooms have quite poor lighting, and insufficient power outlets.

Its well equipped with basic amenities for your everyday needs.

The first I stayed here was an amazing experience! the room (upgrade with kitchen) surprise me as it gives me feels that im living in a new apartment of mine. It just feel so like home! is super convinient as its near my school. (3days, 2nights) A few weeks later, my family is back again! (7days, 7night) again, an lovely experience.
