Recently had my wedding here and my experience was so disappointing. 1) We received a new wedding manager only weeks before our wedding but she was not responsive during the most important times, no sense of urgency. Not only that, she made a typo in our 1st menu item, and it came wrongly (vs what’s printed) and it caused a confusion among all my guests. 2) My 2nd march in song was delayed and we literally took a few steps forward with no music at all. Then, they played the wrong song in the end, which was quite disappointing because we spent a lot of effort choosing our march in songs 3) There was a worm found in one of my guests food (on a kid’s plate), and the chef came out to explain to us that it’s a “healthy worm” and that it’s ok to have it on the plate. His explanation honestly made it a lot worse. This matter has not been resolved even after 1 week has passed, I’m extremely disappointed in their service, and will never come back again.

I preordered your mooncakes on 6 Aug 2021 and was scheduled to pick up my order today at your hotel. Your staff told me that both items are out of stock! You should have informed your customers that your mooncakes are out of stock prior to collection day instead of letting your customers come down personally to pick up the mooncakes and then to be informed that they are out of stock? What is the point of doing a preorder when there is no reserved stock for your customers? I requested for refund and was told that it will take 4-6weeks to refund. I’ll never buy your mooncakes again.

Lovely rooms and excellent guest services. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Intercontinental. It was an amazing experience. The pool was a gorgeous space to hang out and all safety measure were observed at the hotel. The restaurants are excellent, especially Man Fu Yuan and Ash & Elm. Great location in Bugis with lots of shopping near by.

My 2nd staycation here within a month. Very conviniently located. Near Arab st to get variety of halal food. Also near to the iconic Sultan mosque. Very helpful and attentive service staffs. The only downside was that this hotel does no provide complimentary parking. But other that, I highly recommend this hotel for your staycation.

Had to cancel a room in August during phase 2 as we were told to rebook/cancel it as it was not available (it was listed on stb though). Was disappointed as we wanted to try it out for our wedding and a mini honeymoon. Gave them a second chance & reserved another stay in Oct for our mini honeymoon instead. But was told there isn't any free parking available as it was sharing with Bugis ($20/day). Checking out (no fast checkout available) and breakfast service (food was cold) wasn't prompt.
Dinner service at Chikuyotei wasn't prompt or good. (nt what I expected for paying $400+ for 2 pax).
Overall
I guess due to Covid period, manpower or service isn't as expected for a 5-star hotel.
Hope that they improve if I ever return in the future after this pandemic.

We were accomodated here during the 14 day quarantine. We had excellent service. The food was nothing great but again this could be due to the COVID-19.
the staff is the greatest part of this hotel, warm, concern and friendly. The suite is big comfortable, 2 big TVs with movies on demand, Cable vision and nice view from the 15th level.

My first stay there, together with my fur baby. I was very impressed with the service of everything there-right from checking in, to the room service to breakfast to checking out. Will definitely patronize again.

Dear All, Have stayed at this Beautiful property during my few earlier visits to Singapore.
First of all Staff at the Front Desk, Coincerge, are friendly and professional.
Huge spread for Breakfast, with Fresh Juice, Fresh Fruirs And Hot Cappuccino.
Beautiful Ambience inside the Hotel And Rooms and Bathrooms very well maintained. House keeping guys are very professional and they do very good job.
Good to explore by walk the adjoining Shopping mall, with food Court.
Strongly recommend this Beautiful Hotel for Corporate travellers only. Now the Sad part of the story is this Hotel Room Tariff and food is very expensive. Still worth every penny. Looking forward to my Visit to Intercontinental — Singapore, in near future aswell. Best Regards,

Excellent guest experience from thoughtful and diligent staff right across the hotel regardless of position or pay grade. We travel a lot and stay in good hotels. This ranks highly for me. IHG will be my choice again.

Went for a wedding lunch yesterday and was unfortunately being served by an unhelpful waitress at table 31. Firstly, drinks were only refilled once to twice throughout the 3 hours at the banquet despite multiple polite request attempts. Secondly, table 31 has no fluids in our cups at all (not even tea) during yam seng. Again, we have requested for drinks but the drinks never came. … Thirdly, worse still, we were given an unhappy demeanour even though all we asked for was just drinks (orange juice, tea or wine). Although the manager has asked his staff to get drinks for us, his staff ignored the request. There is little attempt at service recovery which is disappointing. I hope the hotel will hire their staff wisely.

Nice & Friendly staff. Champagne brunch in Ash & Elm has few but good selection and with good quality. I enjoyed their wide selection of small platters specially the beef brisket… so tender and juicy!

This hotel is amazing, a historic hotel in a great location 15 minutes from the airport, walking distance to plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars (if the ones on the property don't meet your needs). They have increasingly great customer service, a fantastic selection of canapes and drinks in the club lounge. The pool is also great and gym is enough in a pinch or there is a fitness First 5 min walk away or a running path the same.

Everything was good. Room service was fantastic. It would be even better if they could change up the breakfast menu at the oak&elm more often. (waffles are the best in Singapore though. )

Superb club lounge! The rooms are classic yet modern and the beds are incredible. The pool is slightly dated. Breakfast is brilliant, however it gets a little tired and repetitive if you are staying over many nights. The hotel is close to many great restaurants was recommended platypus Kitchen which is right next to the hotel that was excellent, the Japanese restaurant within the hotel is also excellent. But can be a tad pricey. Overall, an excellent stay as always.

Amazing hotel. And what you would expect. The service was great and staff friendly. Bedroom was large and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was huge with bath tub and shower. Full amenities from toothbrush through to nail kits and slippers … Located next to the shopping centre which is handy.

Very grand, elegant and classy look. Lobby is furnished with a piano. Soft and warm lighting not glaring to eyes at all. Toilets are well maintained, very clean. Floor is dry and non slippery. Dining restaurant is just at the lobby with fresh food and fine drinks to go with. Flavor is just right. Ballroom is big and well decorated. Sound system sounded good with strong bass. Hotel room looks very fine. Comes with a good view of the city…

Enjoyed a hearty Sunday buffet brunch at Ash & Elm Brasserie in InterContinental Hotel at Bugis Junction (free flow of Champange is an extra option). As you stepped into entrance of the restaurant you are greeted with an appetizing spread of Chilled Seafood, Lobsters, Oysters, Scallops, Crabs, Mussels, Clams in the center aisle section. The buffet includes a Bloody Mary as a starter to our meal. Good pick me up for brunch! Except for the Japanese Sashimi and Sushi sectio…n, the buffet spread is generally continental cuisine with a cold cut cured Parma Ham, Salami, Beef and Cheese section, the entrée section has delicious Roast Beef, baked Salmon and 2 to 3 other continental dishes. We enjoyed the hor dourves section that has a wide choice of Carviar, including Salmon, Sturgeon, Flying Fish etc. The high point of this buffet is their Tasting Platters that is served piping hot at your table in cute little classic Le Creuset Dutch oven (pots). We tasted almost the entire alacarte including pan fried Duck Foie Gras, Toasted Brioche, Spiced Rhubard Marmalade, Grilled Prawn and Squid, Sauteed Spinach in Crustacean sauce, Spinach Risotto, pan seared Scallop, Broccoli, Croutons and steamed Atlantic Cod with Asparagus. The grand finale is the wide spread of dessert includes my favorite icecream Tiramisu, Raspberry, and dark Chocolate, cakes include Matcha Tea, Choco Mousse, Macarons, strawberry tarts, etc. And a lovely cup of freshly brewed illy coffee.

Meet my friend here for buffet breakfast. Great atmosphere but food varieties was ordinary. Initially unable to find the corner for salad. At the end it is located in a room next to entrance. Missed it easily.

The layout of the hotel was very unique. It is not the biggest hotel around but yet has all the essentials of a luxurious hotel. The ambience is peaceful and quiet amidst the busyness of a shopping district. The location is right in the centre of the shopping mall but yet reclusive and tranquil.

Great location, staff were friendly and helpful. Ros were clean and tidy. Above all, the 'handy' android phone in the room was an amazing feature, complete with ticket booking, discounts and a helpful guide to the city.

Elegance in the heart of Singapore.

I loved it, really a very good address!

Staying for business. Very friendly staff and great amenities. I arrived early-around 8:30 am on the day of my arrival, and I only got my room around 2pm, which is still "early" however there were many other people who came in after me that were able to get rooms easily. The rooms are spacious with very nice furniture and large bathroom with tub and shower. The beds are very comfortable. The TV is very big, probably larger than 40 inches and has many channels in different languages, including HBO. I am able to get free breakfast with my room rate and it is not your normal breakfast, they have a ton of food, from western to Chinese, with fruits, fresh juices, and pastries. Location is central and it is easy to get a cab. It's about 40 minutes to Tuas and less than 30 minutes to the airport.

If you like very small rooms this is the hotel for. Also you have to step up two feet to get in shower tub. Coming out of shower is scary. Also they only allowed one room key which also controls the electricity in your room. So when you go out all power is cut off including the Air conditioner Come back and room very hot. Also can’t recharge equipment while you are out. Not a very classy hotel at all.

What a beautiful establishment. A walk back into the timeless elegance of yesteryear. Standard of service is very high and very nearly faultless. Well appointed visually pleasing, comfortable rooms and amenities. You must book a "Club" room — you will not be disappointed with the special bonuses provided. Food is plentiful, a delight to the tastebuds and plated beautifully. Top service is friendly, warm and omnipresent. Perfect positioning in Middle Road — so handy to everything. We will return for more pampering!

Was at Intercontinental attending a company function (lunch) for Chinese New year at the main ballroom. The service was prompt although it would have been even better if the staff were better trained/ had more experience. However, the food was rather delectable and I especially enjoyed the fish maw soup.

This has always been one of our favorite hotels for many reasons but not stayed for a number of years as had retired from work a few years back. The hotel is in the Bugus junction shopping area so a great location as also an MRT station there. It’s a very elegant bright hotel and I always felt it exuded an air of tranquility — Feng Shui influence no doubt. We stayed in a Heritage room which has been newly decorated and very beautiful. Intercon beds are famous for their comfort and this excelled! Well appointed, stylish rooms and good bathroom amenities. Club lounge is superb with quality food presentations and freshly cooked breakfasts available, western and Asian. The evening cocktail 2 hours has excellent selection of wines and cocktails and again great food. But it’s as always the staff that make or break a place and staff here are truly so well trained, impeccable in service, appearance and naturally friendly and engaging. We ate in their Chinese Restaurant on the second floor and this has quality a la carte dishes as well as their renowned Dim Sum menu. Again a must stop for us to eat in. One of the best hotels you can stay in and thus highly recommended.

Fantastic place to stay! The location is convenient and near the Bugis station and. The staff is very helpful and nice, it was my birthday and I got a surprise in the room! The hotel is beautiful and has the old style, but bathrooms and fitness rooms are up to date. The breakfast was fantastic! Room service is good too.

Did a staycation over the weekend to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. One word to sum up the service “impeccable”. It began with the receptionist who recalled and addressed me by my name the following day, to the two room service staff who literally raced up to my room to change the damped bed covers so that my child could take her nap and to the dining service staff at Ash & Elm restaurant who made sure my child received her meal before us. He also put a big smile on my daughter’s face when he offered a complimentary ice cream. It’s services like these, attention to detail, that made our stay at the Bugis Intercontinental Hotel a wonderful experience. Thank you! :)

Old buildings, the whole has a nostalgic atmosphere, the accommodation is very good, surrounded by shopping malls, very convenient!

After spending 2 weeks traveling through southern east African, stepping foot into this Intercontinental was like heaven. The beds were amazing. The gym was fantastic. I didn't want to leave!

The complimentary buffet breakfast is amazing also, with good variety and quality. The hotel is also very stylish. I highly recommend staying here. For me, it was an overall superb experience.

Very good meal, the last three nights, every day to change the main dishes, local characteristics afternoon tea is also very good, two people 108+ tax, more than the head no low, very affordable, we four people eat a set, but also eat (have lunch).
Two bedroom type sleep under two sophomore small, this is the most push, although it is two people room, but three people to eat breakfast did not add charge.
The pool is small, the geographical location is very good, the downstairs is the subway station.

Had afternoon tea and visited friends at the hotel. High tea was very tasty with lovely, attentive staff. Friends' room was in the heritage wing — quite a hike to it from the lifts but a great view straight onto Malay St.

Was here for banquet food tasting. Service staff was superbly friendly and they make sure all our needs are met. Amazing service level! Food portion was huge and generous. Great!

Attended a wedding dinner at the hotel. Nice atmosphere. Clean toilets. Friendly staff. Reasonably good food. The only minor hiccup is the parking exit. Had to drive extremely close to the barrier before it raises up for exit.

Went there for a one-day industry event. They use to have an access from Bugis Junction, but now it has been closed (only for hotel guest). The event is on the Ballroom, and refreshments are placed outside. A bit cramped in my opinion. Temperature is quite reasonable, but can be a bit warmer. They provided plastic bottles for participants for convenience, which I think they should use water jar of they care about environment.

The hotel is in a great location for anything you need. The Handi phone is a fantastic feature for international travelers. The rooms are a bit dated and older, but are quite comfy. Rooms have 2 power outlets for American electronics, but they are not near the bed. Try get a higher floor, as there is a mall connected downstairs and you can hear the crowd easily.

Fantastic hotel, great staff. The rooms are really nice and the hotel now looks and feels premium primarily thanks to its renovation. Good location as well, can't go wrong in Bugis. Foods great, the vibe is tremendous and every interaction is quality. Loved the hotel.

Lovely vintage hotel with great rooms. The higher floors get some superior vantage points. Some excellent food options near by, I would recommend Platypus Kitchen and Mellower coffee which are superior choices! Came as part of a wedding crew. 9/10!

I had dinner at the restaurant Ash and Elm. It was a fantastic place with great ambience. The food is excellent. My family had the beef tasting platter and the meat was cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful. I really great time there!

One of the best hotels in Singapore! Close proximity to great restaurants and one of the best hotel teams in the country! They always give perfect recommendations and go above and beyond the call of duty to help their guest!

Nice hotel and has a very eccentric but premium feel, as it was built by consolidating many shoplots and they have kept some of the facades internally. Backs onto a street mall, which looks nice and is lively. Well situated in a central part of Singapore. Easy to get to a few different places.

One of the hotel that I love visiting. The Lobby is a real great place to just let your hairs down and sip some Long Island Tea. The environment is made even more comfy by the sofas and also live piano music. If you want a bite, they do have a selection of food and also a High Tea set. A great way to nimble and share great moments with your loved ones or friends.

Our stay was great, wish it didn't have to end. We upgraded to the Intercontinental Club Lounge room. The club serves breakfast, afternoon high tea, and nightly cocktail hour. Well worth the splurge!

I came to receptionist at 3.30 pm and the room is not ready. I came back at 5 and still not ready, said that was the last twin bed room and the previous guest hadn't checked out. They compensated me with premium suite room but my roommate wasn't comfortable with king bed, prefered to sleep seperably. They gave us extra bed. And the extra bed was horrible. I asked them to give me a reguler standard room. And they couldn't accomodate that. Finally I moved to MBS. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Reservation didn't go very smooth, called the hotel no. And had to spend 30min on the phone to get some information and a booking. Luckily the last person I spoke to, from the hotel this time and not from the call center (Ms Farah or so) knew very well how to solve the issue and arranged the booking in a jiffy. 1* for the call center, 5* for Ms Farah (hope I got your name correct), average makes 3*. Hope our stay tomorrow will be like Ms Farah's service, 5*.

Shame on you — how can you open up a hotel in Lhasa were human rights are vadtly violated.

One of the more reasonably-priced options in downtown Singapore. Close to Bugis MRT. Pretty convenient for transit. Both the Guest and Fitness rooms are a bit dated. Wifi signal a bit weak in guest rooms.
