Good rooms, strategic location to food stall restaurant, and shops. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Tips: If you're Indonesian and Malay talk to the Malay staff there, they are more friendly than the Chinese ones (not racist, it's based on my experience). Down side is they installed a faulty shower head in their bathroom. So the water is INCREDIBLY SMALL! Like RIDICULOUSLY SMALL! They should be aware of this problems and fix it right away. Other than that, its fine lah…

Small rooms with basic amenities but just enough to get by. Pretty good for the price in Singapore. It’s quite far from tourist attractions but it’s close to a bus station, and a bus trip is under $2 max. Can’t really go wrong with that.

Price performance was ok. The Beds were very hard and the Rooms are quite small. We (my Friend and I) have had Trouble stashing our Luggage (a Travel Backpack and a Suitcase). Otherwise it is clean and you can get to the nearest shopping Mall in 5 Minutes by bus. The nearest Train Station is a 10-minute Walk away.

Excellent budget hotel, it is in a quiet laneway two doors from the corner of a busy minor road with many restaurants. A taxi to the city / marina is $7. The train is too far to walk. There are plenty of busses but couldn't be bothered. No dining facilities but who cares. The shower had the finest nozzle spray I have ever seen, it was the softest (but plentiful) shower I ever had. Very luxurious.

Very clean and spacious rooms. The staff is freindly and helpful. The bathrooms are very modern well equipped and very clean. The surrounding neighborhood is also nice.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. A simple yet clean and modest room for two. Very neatly maintained and courteous staff. Just only thing they can improve is provide drinking tap water fecility all through the day. They give two 200ml small bottles that too once a day. If we forget to buy from outside there is no way you have water to drink. So an RO purified water system in the hotel, would be more appreciated. Or else atleast they should provide an option to buy water from them. Tourists after a long day out, would highly appreciate this. Apart from this, it's a nice modest place to stay.

The exact location. Not far or very close to Kallang MRT station. It's easy to find a food restaurant.

Very small rooms and bads, I have height 188 cm, and bed was less. Clean rooms, but very noisy, because wall is very thin. A/C noisy too. Good place, near with bus station and 10 minutes for subway.

Service cordial, can collect goods, have luggage storage, daily supply of mineral water 2 bottles, there are toiletries, is the room is too small, it seems crowded, luggage has no place to tidy up.

Super clean amd comfy. Sadly we only have to stay for a day. But definitely going to be back there…

Good, Clean and Nice place to stay. Friendly environment available here. You can get cheaper tickets for different attractions from the hotel. If you are from Indian subcontinent, it will be helpful for you to know there's no refrigerator here. And Halal shops are available nearby. MRT station is like 10 mins walking distance. Overall great.

Comfortable place, the bed and rooms are good and so is the location. Adding a map with Street and location address would have very helpful. Not recommended for vegetarians, since there is no eating joint around. It is only bed and no breakfast. Additional requirements for tea and coffee is difficult. If you have missed your charging cable, god bless you, they don't even have one. The worst thing is that the noise from the flush system from the top floor can be quite disturbing in the night.

Location The rooms are not big, but everything you need is. Nice bathroom. Clean. Be quiet. Air conditioning.

Good location. Near bus stop. The room is quite small, but clean and the environment is good. You can find a lot of food around the hotel. What I really dont like is the shower. The shower hole is too small so its hurt a bit when you spray it to your body.

The room was a decent size, we opted for two twin beds instead of a double so that we could check in two hours early no charge. TV had a few English channels including Fox Movies which was a nice bonus. The AC was extremely good, seemed to be an almost industrial AC system because of the power, within a few minutes the room was ice cool. The bathroom was nice, only complaint is the shower is a bit painful on full power, I'm assuming it is the shower heads that do this but the water was like needles if you held it too close on high power. Hot water is always a bonus and boy did it get hot! Toiletries supplied daily including fresh towels, coffee/tea/creamer replinshed daily aswell. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good location near two bus stops to get into the downtown core and quiet at night, convenience stores close by. All in all a great stay, quite pricey for what it was but I put this down to the holiday season and the general higher prices in Singapore.

The hotel was newly renovated and comfortable to stay in. Location wise its near restaurants and bus stop. Location is far from mrt though.

Clean and tidy! a budget hotel, quite far from MRT Kallang a little. Foods around are good especially Frog Poridge.

Good budget hotel. Minimal service but decently clean for the price. No frills like breakfast or anything of the sort. Can't complain about too much. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.

Quite nice and comfortable place.

I use Fragrance group of hotels in Geylang because they are cheap. You get what you pay for, bed, air con and shower. Rooms are tended to daily. Some times holes in towels but still clean and usable. Tea/coffee facilities. Emerald has slightly larger rooms than Ruby and good size wet room/toilet. Staff are always friendly and helpful when required. Convenience of bus and MRT close by and interlinking makes coming and going really easy. I will continue to come here for as long as I can to both Emerald & Ruby and the slightly more expensive Crystal at the bottom of lorong 18 (bus stop not as close)

Hotel maintenance id good but the room are damn to smaller than they look in the photos. Drinking water is the main issue here, they just offer u only 2 bottles per day. While Fragrance Hotel Sunflower supplies u as many as wish. It is overall the best locality to stay for an Indian tourist.

Rooms are very small. The location is a bit removed from everything.

Quick checkin. Rooms larger than other fragrance chains. Free Wi-Fi in room. Door not good sound proofing, but no one is making noice at night anyway. Located in redlight district area, but nonone is bothering you. Never felt unsafe. Good value. Would recommend.

What I like about this hotel is that it's only an 8-10 minutes walk away from the Kallang MRT station which is really convenient for tourists. The room itself is not very fancy but definitely clean (depending on what kind of room you got but we got the deluxe room). Working Hot and Cold shower, for women, there is also a blow dryer and working properly. Staffs were very accommodating and friendly. The one thing that I just didn't like about this hotel is their room Wi-Fi's, for some reason it disconnects so I have to go down to the lobby to reconnect again. And before I completely forgot, they also have a massage chair in their lobby which is the greatest thing ever! so if you're tired from touring the city you can just sit back and relax. Overall, I think this hotel deserves a thumbs up. Definitely worth the stay at a very reasonable price.

Very small room. No shower curtain. Clean sheets. Friendly staff. In a dark backstreet, but easy to find from the Kallang MRT station — just a short walk. Only three MRT stops from City hall! Good value for the price. (I was warned about the red light district, but it was no problem at all).
