Stayed at this hotel from 16-18 July 2018. The location of the hotel is good, has lot of eating joints nearby. The hotel staff is very rude and arrogant, they don't reply your query with a smile… it looks like they are in the wrong profession of hospitality. The rooms are too small, AC doesn't work properly and even after complaining to the staff it doesn't helps. If you request room service boy to come after 15 minutes to clean the room as we were about to leave… he says "I'll be busy after that. And won't be able to clean the room". What a fantastic reply if you are working in the service Industry. To the people looking forward to stay here … kindly look for better accommodation as plenty of good options in this area. for me DICKSON HOTEL goes for 1 OUT OF 5. thanks.

The hotel is good if you are a tourist and need the hotel for sleeping purpose. Facilities are quite good. Rooms are small but if you are travelling, you can enjoy the country all day long and end your day at hotel. Also there is this market called mini India where you can shop for various things if you want to. You will find many things there. Good spot for tourists to stay.

Location is very good and being close to Little India I liked it. I took a three bed room. It is small only thing you have is 3 bed. The first day was fine and then my children started to have bed bugs for next 2 days. My advice beware of bed bugs otherwise rest is good.

A good place with good cleanliness. No bell boy available so have to take your luggage by yourselves. Helpful staff with all the facilities like hot water and air-conditioning available.

Toiletries are not in good condition but staff is polite… Rooms are small… Only deluxe room has window… Toilet are paper based only… No Indian system… toilet have hot water supply… Hot water can be taken on the interval of 5-10 mins…. Cleaning is good… Basic need hotel only. One baath room and one very small room… Remember window is provided only in deluxe room. And fridge is also provided only in deluxe room… Bring your own tooth brush and tooth paste…

The services are nice. If you stay more than a night, your room will be cleaned every morning by the room service without even asking for it so the pillow and the bed would be clean when you get back from a trip in the end of the day. Extra mineral water also given each day. The lobby is nice and cozy you could bring your guest and talk here. The bathroom is excellent not too big and not too small just clean. It was a good experience after staying here. Thankyou so much.

Was a bit unsure about the place. However once we were there, loved the place. Got a free upgrade to city view room. Everything was clean. And the staffs are helpful.

Good for budget hotel stay. Nice accommodation. Staffs are friendly, well spoken and polite. Have restaurant at ground level outside the hotel premises. Beds are not comfortable for a person of 5ft 6 inches and above. Rooms are small.

Staff is sensible and smart, actually nice people. All over it is a good option in medium budget. They have very nice rooms.

A good place to rest your head for the night, situated next to Singapore's Little India. Finding a place to eat is never a problem. As most of the restaurants in the area are opened 24/7. Has all the amenities needed for a backpacking trip or even with the family. Comfortable beds, and hot showers what more could you ask for in a budget hotel.

Great location in Little India. Good clean room with cable TV and kettle. Lovely houseboys and professional staff. Clean room and good bed and linens.

The rooms are super compact with only the basic amenities in place. Good budget hotel for a short stay. Room service at snail pace. Don't expect much. The location although is really good with all public transport facilities at walking distance.

All is well, but the rooms have mold because the rooms are not ventilated. Especially where there are no windows.

We were going to ask the price of a room on a Saturday night it announces US 130 R We found it expensive so we are going to see on booking which posted only 90 so we book on booking in 2 minutes, we return to the hotel to show our reservation Except that the first person we had was no longer there, we ask the gentleman why there is a price difference he tells us that it is because it is the week makes! Laughing out loud!
Then the gentleman tells us that we will have 2 beds a place because the hotel was full we told him that one has to book for a Bed 2 places and that it was not normal, as a result, it puts us on the ground floor but the room smelled damp ke hallway smelled bad you could hear Out the noises from the outside and the hallway and the elevator! I recommend it at all.

Location is good, near to Rochor MRT station, you can go anywhere conveniently. Overall neat and clean. Rooms are too small. Else everything is OK. It's a good choice considering Singapore.

Service is pretty good for the price. Everything is pretty clean. Bathrooms could be better. Shower water tends to spray out under the bathroom door. Beds aren't good though. Seems to be some kind of waterproof mattress. The sheets just slide on it too much to be comfortable.

Cheap hotel, small rooms. Many rooms have no windows. Every day they change clothes, towels and bring water and instant coffee. The only strong air conditioning, cool.

Convenient location and clean hotel. The downside includes no windows in most rooms. The AC kept resetting to frigid mode even though we kept adjusting it. I had to sleep with my only sweater I brought on my trip. It was supposed to be for trip to Singapore, not once I got there. I love to sleep in the cold too.

Budget hotel but surrounded by historic atmosphere… Easy access to the old Singapore just outside the lobby. Front desk services is helpful… The room is small and worn-out but it's OK for the money…

It is a nice hotel near the Rochor station, clean, no frigobar, La. Customer service is good. The bad thing that the hair dryer did not work well and the bathroom sometimes went bad smell.

Good hotel well located in the lively Little India area. The rooms are correct (for double deluxes) and clean. Only small problem: we saw and killed a cockroach on our arrival. Otherwise accommodating reception to keep the luggage after check out.

It's a 2 star Budget hotel, service is okay good to go. Best if you are going to explore city and spend less time in hotel. Also suitable for family and couples with little budget. They have rooms with window and without window, rates are different for both.

If you are in Singapore for work or to loaf around. This is one of the best place to cosider. Small rooms with a good bed to sleep. And it's almost like a center point for most of the big shopping malls.

Actually you get what you pay for. This place is fine but if you're there during a busy period, don't stay on the first floor. Mum, dad, and the kids will keep you up all night.

Friendly staff, room is clean and the price is right. Near mrt and shopping centers. Convenient to go to other part of town and have many good food around that area.

The location is good, but I booked in a hurry and didn't see that room you get is without windows, the pictures showed only the rooms with windows. But it wouldn't be that bad if the room had good ventilation, it was so damp in the room it was awful… So be careful.

Stayed 4 nights. Small but very clean rooms. Make sure to pay a few extra $ to get a window (most rooms are windowless). We found it really quiet and had a great sleep there. Nearest MRT station is about 5 min away. Plenty of restaurants around.

Good hotel with good quality rooms and comfortable beds, Wi-Fi is a bit of a problem due to many guests using it. No stairs up to rooms, elevators only. Which in my mind is a bit of a concern. Overall, would recommend.

Coming to Singapore with average budget, but want to stay in hotel which affordable but close to the access of city. The answer is Hotel 81 Dickson. It is near Rochor MRT station, and also Sungai Besar Bus Station. Hungry? It is near food court area which open 24 hours Shopping? Ah. Mustafa Center is very close. Just a walk about 500meters. The shop open 24 hours.

Reasonable priced hotel. The service and people are good. Full hotel is air conditioned. Rooms and inside the hotel are clean.

In very good condition. Suitable for business trips. Rooms are small but it has everything we needed.

It's a nice budget hotel for what it's worth. The vicinity is within Little India, some backpackers would say it's a shady place, but Singapore is a safe place in general really. The nearest station is Rochor MRT station on the Downtown Line and you can reach the city centre really easily. The nearby Sim Lim Square is very well known locally for electronics. Don't get ripped off in the lower levels though if you are a tourist.

I would avoid this hotel at ALL costs. The staff is horrendous. My partner injured her leg and the staff did not care at all. This is a horrible hotel run by horrible people, and I would stay anywhere except this place.

Good enough for 3 days stay. Near Shopping areas, bus stn, bugis mrt stn, and restaurants. The rooms are small but clean.

Just an ordinary hotel, small room, no windows, no extra ordinary facilities. The only point plus is the location, near to Bugis MRT, hawker food, and within walking distance to Little India, Bugis Village, Masjid Sultan, and Sim Lim of course…

Very small but very clean, close to Bugis and Little India metro stations are very near, near the cheap hotel. Live is no window large bed room, although in the intersection, but is a little noise, closed good reason.

You da an excellent service by the price, although the area not is very linda, also with much movement until afternoon and to the morning already start them of the mosque, ask room internal.

Not a value for money. Customer service is appalling. Rooms are tiny with no windows and mouldy. Wouldn't come back here.
