We were soo lucky to stay at this great hotel. It has the Best service, amazing staff, proximity to masjid al nabawi, fabulous view of al Haram, and lovely breakfast. Would not stay somewhere else if we plan another visit to al Madina ❤️

Very very disappointed with our visit in Ramadan. Very irresponsible staff their bus facility is very bad… they say something and they do something they don't bother about the guests no punctuality in the schedule of the buses… it was a very disappointing trip… I ll never plan to visit this hotel in future…

The most attractive feature of this hotel is close location to Haram. Rest, I agree with majority of reviewers that it is not at all a 5 star hotel. The under size rooms are the major concern. One doesn't get space to take a full step. Fittings /fixtures are of good quality. Service is of satisfactory standard. Most of staff are like trained professionals. Their behaviour with the guests deserves appreciation. I stayed here for +8 days and found fluctuating standard of food. Sometimes it's good while on occasions you find gross decline. Interior decoration has been given due attention. But dim lights every where, give touch of gloomy environment. Light in the rooms is critically of low lumins. On my complaint that I even could not comfortably read in that light, the answer was interesting, "It is the hotel policy ". My humble suggestion to the hotel management is that besides others improvements please create some space in the rooms. Regards.

Good location and ambience but not impressive service. Staff laid back, they didn't tell me there's a gym here until the last day of a 3-night stay. They especially give a bad service if you're a corporate guest. I guess they take you for granted because they're the only international chain in the area.

Below the usual standards expected of a place like this. Overall okay but many little things added to a below than expected level of standard. The rooms needed some renovation, like the carpets, and overall needs to be better maintained. It had it all just missed the final polish. The staff were great though.

Neat and clean hotel. Deserve 5 stars. Very good welcome. Only location is an issue for ladies as it's on the opposite side of ladies gate 17 and 25.

Worst hotel I have ever experienced in my life. I have booked for 3 nights on Feb. 2018. Left next morning because the hotel was little too far from women's gate. I have expressed our concern to the hotel management and they cancelled the additional two days. They provided me a return receipt of money back approx. 408 dollar which I never received. I have been calling them for last 2 months. Every time they says the account manager is not here and inshaallah you will get your money back. I have never dealt with this kind of unprofessional staff and liars. How can people lie in a holy place. No wonder why Europe/USA is so civilized than those countries.

One of luxury hotel in Madinah. The room is nice. Very near to gate 5 to Masjidil Nabawi. And most important, the station for spatco vip bus to Mekah located near this hotel.

Tiny rooms, terrible manners during the check in if in the morning shift, you have to ask the room service 1000 times for any thing you want, the "clean my room card" was here for 24 hours and nobody cleaned it. Dimmy lights in the room so be sure to choose a sunny room or you'll stay in the dark The two stars are for the location… and only for the location if you are here to visit the haram. Hope they will be better next time as we used to see from IHG.

A luxury hotel that is close to the prophets mosque, with easy access from gate 1. The hotel is clean and provides good sized rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Very close to haram. Shuttles available for women. Breakfast very wide range of variety and tasty. Tidy clean rooms and bathrooms. Rooms not so big but this is all what you need.

Best Hotel in Madinah, I stay here every time I come to visit Madinah, within walking distance to Haram, free car park, cleanliness of rooms quiet location easy access to major roads and highways. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel. 3 mintues walking distance from the holy mosque of Madinah. Staff are welcoming and hospitable. Perfect customer service. Nicely designed lobby, spacious and clean rooms, clean bathrooms. The breakfast is rich and contains lots of varieties. Everything is tasty and nutritious. I have tried lots of hotels in Medina and I can honestly say that it is one of the best!

Close to Alharam, and close to the most popular Shabura in Almadina, (Shabura Alkaki)

Good location, very friendly service, spacious rooms but the size of beds and wardrobe are a shame. Nice and quite, no experience of food, guest relations staff should be someone able to speak English, check in and check out was very smooth, helpful and friendly. Overall a Nice place to stay with facilities worth the money charged.

Very good management and staff everything you need available in room within minuets (for private guests). I was there last week with 6 family members, I booked suite for family, sofa bed was broken, draining system in washroom blocked. Management arrange separate extra bed (quality of bed was poor as well). Next day I transfer to another suite with same remarks but okay. My parents are staying (until next week) in same hotel (with Group) Hajj package. There's Two separate buffet in same floor one for Hajj groups and second for Guests. There's big disappointment to see how Pilgrims are treating by management specially in breakfast no coffee machines, no egg omelette on demand available and dry (stone) breads. Even same dishes in dinner and 50% available same in breakfast. I visited my parents in Makkah and have dinner with them perfect, breakfast perfect variety … pilgrims was happy as I discussed with them. But in Crown plaza 5 star there experience is worst. Personally I am sad about all these things happened with pilgrims came from outside and treat like this. Sure they will share there bad experience in Home countries about hotel. I spoke to in-charge/supervisor of food department he replied to me what ever we are giving to pilgrims as per contract, how 5 star hotel compromise on there standards (in Makkah all things available also was 5 star). There's a lot to write but I think is enough to understand.

Though everything was bit old and rusty the service was very good. Staffs were very helpful and attentive. Very close to the prophet's mosque with a reasonable price. Ifter buffet items were great but breakfast wasn't very impressive. However they allowed our one extra member in the breakfast buffet without any charge, that was very thoughtful of them. I enjoyed my stay there very much with my family (7 people in total)

It's a very clean and nice place. The employees here are very friendly starting from the reception to the telephone operators. The reason I gave them a four star rating instead of a five star rating is that I asked for spoons after Maghreb during Ramadan and it never came. However, they did apologize for that incident. I would say keep up the good service and always strive for the best.

I recently stayed there for 9 nights and what an amazing experience it was. Their food, room service, mosque view from room and other services are awesome. Strongly recomended for those who are looking for comfort and quality at one place.

Happy with service, they went out their way to help us and I celebrated Eid with them amazing memories.

We had a three bed room. Its very small, u cant even walk freely in the room because of its size. Seems to be over crowded.
Bathroom also too small, water from the shower compartment flows out of the glass curtains and the whole bath room floor gets wet.
Room service is good daily cleanliness and change of bed sheets is ok.
Lifts good, never over crowded.
Bathrooms need improvement and I think a two beds room is converted into three beds room.
Nice approach to prophets mosque, just 2-3 minutes walk. Specialy my wife liked it because she presented salam at roza mubarak every time she passed by going for prayers in the mosque.

Extremely tiny rooms in medinah. Our breakfast on the first night was 5 star… however this did not last for the 3 days we stayed here Hotel is located on exit side of the mosque which was annoying as we had to walk all the way to the entrance of the mosque. Hotel do provide a shuttle bus for customers but this is at their own time table. Hotel is close by to the date market.

The hotel itself I had no issues but their billing department and customer service is seriously lacking I go to the hotel to find out that they have given my room to someone else and for the inconvenience they were suppose to discount me 450 SAR and when I paid the discount was on their but when I recieved my credit card bill they charged me the 450 SAR that I did not authorize AT ALL overall a terrible experience I would say.

As for location: One side is the masjid Al Nabawi n the other side is the food areaa. It can't get better than that.

Very nice hotel I was stayed in Crown plaza Beijing China before 3 months ago And I have new booking in Crown plaza Almadinah in 23 sep. Reference no. 966942 I hope to find this stay good same Beijing.

Broken hand shower, no cold water in the faucet, broken reading light, closet handle missing and broken bell when we moved in. Some of the staff on reception is horrible. The one who checked us in looked very reluctant and kept saying "have a good day" even though I was asking questions. Understandable with people waiting, but there was no one else waiting! The room was unclean and not on par for a 5 star hotel. Not even a fair comparison to Le Meridien Towers where we stayed in Makkah with bigger and cleaner rooms and amazing staff. The one who checked us out was relatively friendly (but neither introduced themselves unlike Le Meridien where I knew everyone by the end of my stay) The only striking exception at Crowne was the concierge Deen. He was a true delight. Plus points are proximity to Masjid al Nabawi and free Wi-Fi which kept me connected to work.

Excellent hotel, excellent service and nice food. Free Internet and free parking. It's close to AL Haram, but females entrance is not as close, about 12 minutes walking. And there is bus going to harm for every prayer.
