Nice location but not up to standard for the price. Uncomfortable bed. Pool water was green! Needs a tidy up and more attention to detail.

Garden villas need renovating are looking shabby. No proper flow of water in showers, very little hot water. No milk supplied in fridge or glasses, I was charged for one when asked for one. Meals are very average. Lovely beach and swimming area. The shop is never open. Beds and linen need to be updated. Friendly staff.

Comedy of errors, right from the start. Dated rooms, average food, poor service and sneaky overcharging. The rooms were extremely dated and poorly maintained. There was mould and paint peeling on the walls, and the shower dribbled out water that was sometimes hot if you were lucky. The aircons were so old, they leaked water and there was a puddle on the floor. We had two garden villas, one of the villas was so bad were had to move to a poolside room which was considered an "upgrade" but I would hardly classify it as an upgrade. Shower still didn't work and doors wouldn't close — bonus of this room was that it didn't feel like you were in a prison cell. The food was average at best, they didn't have a lot of items available. The menus gets VERY boring after a couple of nights and no specials are offered. The bar and restaurant staff were lovely and their service was great and the live music that was offered each night in the restaurant was fabulous. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. We had numerous complaints we wanted passed onto the manager/owner and were looking to get a refund and leave to another resort. The reception staff said they had spoken to the manager and that this was not possible. On the final day when we actually spoke to the manager/owner we found out that he had not heard ANY of this, and the staff had been lying to us. At the end of our trip, when it came to paying the bill, we found we had been overcharged about $500.

Nice resort, good food at restaurant, nice staff, wonderful beach and warm sea, pool, no free Wi-Fi.

Receptionist needs to be replaced. The room they showed us before we paid was alot nicer then what we ended up with after we paid.

We arrived at 1:00 and our check in time was 12:00. By this time I expected our room to be ready, but the cleaners just started cleaning up our room… anywae we Stayed here for 3 nights on Garden Villa 2 and the A/C didnt work properly at all. There was a fridge n kettle but no Cutlery. The light outside our room did not work at all and lil lamp palced on the corner doesnt work. So many broken and useless things in this room. Other issue was, when we dropped off our washing to be done at the reception area the lady said it'll take 1 hour. Which I didnt really mind. However we waited for 2-3 hours for our washing, n the lady said"we JUST started ur washing as there was another family who came in with their washing b4 us, im very disappointed! Reception area also, was left UNATTENDED most of the times from morning… which makes me wonder if the owners are aware of this. Also the pools were so dirty and greenish. All I wanted was a beautiful experience but I left this place unhappy.

Great friendly staff, love the atmosphere. Stayed in June for 4 days. love the live music at night. Will be booking in again. Thanks everyone.

This hotel does not have a profile on Trip Advisor for good reason, the place is a mess, pool was green with some feeble attempt at trying to fix it, door handles broken, food staff could not care, avoid at all costs.

The Le Uaina Hotel was our favorite place to stay in Samoa. You got a good value for your money. The staff was extremely friendly and you felt welcome from the first minute on. Given to the fact that it is just a small hotel it had more character than other places around the island, which we really liked! :-) Kayaking and snorkeling equipment was for free and also the breakfast was complimentary in our booking. It offered a variety from local fruits to pancakes, toasts, porridge, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and miss this little paradise now back in cold NZ. Highly recommended! :-)

Great place to bring the family very much enjoyed our stay here. Great staff and swimming pool.

We lived here for 8 days, rained everyday on and off. Food here was less then I expected 3/5. For better food have to drive 45~55min to apia. If you planning to live here u'll need a car. Had a broken toilet seat for 3days/8days. Leaving Samoa on a Sunday is not recommended, everything (95%) is closed. Humidity is unbelieverble but Samoa is must try.

We love this place, the people were amazingly friendly and the meals were very nice. So close to the sea and the pool was great for out little 18 month old. The staff looked after him and he would run looking for them every morning and evening. We will definitely be back!

Not worth it. You have to ask if u want ur room servced, toilet paper and towels. We needed milk n it cost $2 when we asked for milk (wat was th point in gvng us a jug n teabags in our rms. The free breakfast is disappointing. You get toast, pancakes, cereals everyday.
