The lady at the beach service is not friendly at all, look like she had a bad day with attitude, nice modern hotel but this lady could make your day not pleasant.

I have been visiting Holland House Hotel since 2005. Location, food and service are really outstanding!. It is my favorite place on Earth for my vacation.

Great location to the airport and cruise terminal. The food is delicious! The service has been top tier. Short walk to a number of quality jewelers. If you want to feel spoiled, this place will be a no brainer.

Our stay was magical! From the beautiful suite facing the ocean, with a gorgeous balcony and amazingly comfortable bed, to their incredible food and staff, we couldn't have had a better stay anywhere. Diana and her team went above and beyond to help me surprise my husband for his 50th birthday and our 20th anniversary. They put us in the penthouse suite, had a decorated table for our dinner, and every staff member went out of their way to smile, greet us, and wish him a happy birthday. We can't wait to return for another fabulous stay!

Very friendly staff, they make us feel like family. Beautiful hotel on a beautiful beach. Very nice restaurant and bar. Price is very reasonable. We’ve stayed here about 10 times and have another trip booked. Strongly recommend.

I can honestly say the Holland House has been the most friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The views are absolutely stunning from the hotel bar and restaurant and the room balcony’s. The hotel is so clean and inviting, but the most impressive aspect of this place are the staff. They treat you like you’re family. I’ve been blown away all week at how sweet, friendly and accommodating they are. The food and drinks are to die for. The beach is breathtaking. This place is a must and I would definitely add it to your bucket list! I can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much Holland House for the best week ever!

Nice oceanviews with sunset. Clean. Some staff wore masks and others didn't. Beautiful wood flooring throughout. Cute updated modern decor. Comfortable beds! Good location for shopping, restaurants and walking. The beach is nice except the industrial boats off shore. Cruise ships just sitting there.

Great and Comfortable Ambience enjoying a delicious made Cocktails and great Appetizers such as Bitterballen… Chicken Sates and much more.

Perfect beach day off of a cruise ship! Great lunch, snacks, beach and bar! Don’t forget about the great bartender who goes over the top to be efficient and friendly! Love this place!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Holland House. We had a room with a deluxe beach view and it was amazing. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant staff to the bar and maintenance staff, all were very friendly and helpful. At the Ocean Lounge and Restaurant we had breakfast every morning and had dinner 4 nights there. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. If you are in a hurry, probably not the place to go as it is more of a dining experience. We did not mind the wait as we had drinks and just sat and enjoyed the atmosphere. We rented a car and paid for parking. A couple of times we had an issue with the gate being blocked and the security guard was kind enough to take care of it for us. The beach had chairs and towels available pretty much any time you wanted one. All in all it was the perfect vacation for my husband and I and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a late breakfast/early lunch at the bar of Holland House. The food was good — but outstanding was the bartender, Anthony, who was professional, attentive and such a wonderful person. Highly recommended!

Have never stayed here unfortunately but have eaten in the restaurant numerous times! Service is excellent and everything I’ve ever ordered has always been wonderful! And the view!

Paid for loungers and drinks on a day trip from the cruise port. Great price, great location, good service, and clean and modern restrooms in the hotel were a welcome sign. Perfect if you just want to chill with some drinks and take in the sun on a beach close to port.

Great hotel with great service. Its location is perfect right in the middle of boardwalk and shopping. It's not a luxurious hotel, but always nice and clean after 5 stays here over the years.

We had the opportunity to dine at this hotel adjoining the beach. The city 'lives' during the day mainly by tourists of liners from the United States in stopover. In the evening the city empties, the liners leave, most restaurants, bars are closed.
The hotel's restaurant is practically the only open place where you can dine in the dining room or on the terrace. The service is very courteous, attentive and available.
The wine list offers a lot of diversity. On the kitchen side nothing wrong if it is perhaps a lack of originality that would echo the setting.
It is easy to count USD 60. — per person if you want to eat.
In conclusion, we were not surprised by the certainly fresh but ordinary dishes.
Again in the city on the waterfront and according to our perception this is the only place where you can stop at night. Night life entertainment exists in other parts of the island. If you are looking for calm this is a perfectly acceptable compromise and recommend it.

Wonderful property with great service. The beach is just out of this world! The hotel is beautifully decorated, it provides specious rooms with comfortable king size beds. Our breakfast was delicious, too. Perfect stay, highly recommended!

Great service at the bar. Marco was fast with drinks and gave solid local advice on some of the island's hiking trails. I'll be spending more time here over the next couple of weeks. There also was a random music video shoot going on. Fun to watch.

Holland House is well run. Even after a devastating hurticane guests get great service and the amenities are of a high quality. I especially loved the bath and shower and the great customer service. Its also located on the duty free shopping strip.

The hotel is stunning with great facilities, located right at the center and by the beach. Overall, the hotel is definitely one of the most Central and beautifully decorated place — I loved there snacks and drinks. The food could be improved a lot more — the portions are tiny (a mixed sea food grill is literally 4 tiny pieces of fish served on a lettuce and it's not even gourmet in any way, the lobster ravioli was hard and just not cooked right) the lunch and the dinner are the same and limited. Given the location, and it's ambience, the restaurant could definitely step up a lot lot more. The staff should also be able to take feedback to the kitchen and replace your meal (if ravioli is not boiled right, you just don't say I will let them know, you replace it. ) For the rest, I have had a great experience. Despite the effects of the hurricane all around, this hotel is still beautiful in and out. The perfect location (in the middle of the city and at the boardwalk) for my business trip. It has paid parking and a nice restaurant and bar by the boardwalk.

The obviois choice if you are heading to Philipsburg! Extremely friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere in the lounge overlooking the beach. Good for both business trips or a relaxing weekend on the beach.

If I was able to give a zero I would. What a beautiful location but our whole lunch experience was let down by absolutely horrible service! Your restaurant is on the main strip and many cruise ship passengers have access to it, but what a pity that your staff are really rude and unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any of the guests or crew docking in St Maarten, there are a lot of other restaurants with way better service! From the time we arrived to when we left the waitress spoke a whole 10 words to us. Had to ask for drinks and water. What a pity…

Beautiful hotel awesome staff very secure and the food is amazing. The rooms are nice and spacious the location is great right on the boardwalk and the beach is beautiful of course.

Happy hour, Fred and friends Friday or just hanging at the bar any day HH is the place. Bar staff love them.

The balcony door cannot be opened.

I was there about 3 times because I worked on the cruise ship. I paid 10$ and got a sunbed, very good Wi-Fi, 2 free drinks, changing room&shower. I think it's very good deal. The place is wonderful.

Didn’t stay in the hotel but did the beach rental deal. Clean restrooms and lobby area with bar. Free Wi-Fi which was a bit slow but ok. I would have given 5 stars if not for being charged $22 for ice cream and a fruit bowl.

Great place enjoy, music was on point, beautiful people, sun and beach! What was is there not to like!

I have not stayed at this hotel but I have exploited the possibility of using the beach equipment (two deckchairs, a parasol, 4 beers and Wi-Fi at $25). Very nice staff and very good facilities.

Went there after the hurricane for Breakfast and regretted not going prior to the hurricane for meals. Customer service is great!

The hotel is working hard to get back on track after hurricane Irma! Only a few rooms are available at this time. The restaurant and bar are again in full swing, with live music on Friday and their famous cuisine!

Not fully recovered yet from the hurricane. But the hotel looks great and the staff is nice.

One of my all time favorite hotels. The staff are absolutely lovely. The food and the drinks are excellent. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable. The dining areas, lounge and beach setup are comfortable and chic. I've had two perfect vacations at the Holland House Beach Hotel and look forward to the third. The breakfast buffet and the in-room Nespresso machines are actually two little pieces of simple but fabulous heaven.

Perfect boutique hotel with breathtaking open air lounge and restaurant. Rooms are excellent and box spring bed is a dream. Lunch, dinner and breakfast Service is friendly and comforting. Quality of food is at top cuisine level. Beach is 5 seconds away. Sun chairs with umbrella are provided by hotel.

It is at a convenient location. Food was good. Only issue was the AC which had a leak.

The Holland House Hotel is located on the beach of Philipsburg in downtown Sint Maarten the rooms are good but the dinning location is the best part. To sit on the seafront having breakfast is a must.  

Expensive but worth it. Great view, great service, great food.

Perfect launching point for all things saint maarten. Chanel was the consummate hostess… the welcoming, charming face of Holland House. She bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and had answers to all our many questions. She also turned us on to Angel and his too convenient rental car service. Highly recommend his very reasonable and accommodating services. Great deal for all day rental car that we picked up and dropped off at the front of the hotel. Great way to see the island and come/go as you please. Angel was also a wealth of information on local information including the inside low down on fishing on both the French and Dutch sides.

My husband and I went to the Holland House Beach Hotel last year (2014) and will be going back very soon. Great hotel, excellent location, the food was good, very friendly staff. The rooms were big, beds were comfortable, our room was clean and we had a balcony with a magnificent view of the ocean. If you like to shop, then this is the place to stay! If you don't care for resorts with fees for stuff you might not use, then look into the Holland House.

We were here last year on our honeymoon. We loved the place, nice breakfast, nice bar and beautiful view to the bay. Clean room and clean bathroom.
