Rooms have amazing views, even from the shower and staff is beyond friendly and attentive.

My stay at Akagera Rhino Lodge was truly amazing—from the warm, passionate staff to the stunning setting that honestly looks even better than the photos.

We had an incredible stay at the eco lodge! It is just 15 minutes away from Akagera National Park, and it feels like an oasis. Julienne and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

We’ve had a relaxing time at Rutete Lodge. It’s very likely the best place to stay near the Akagera Park. Rutete Lodge is a heaven, and very quiet. The staff is very kind and the food is delicious.

Amazing wide open view from the room balcony, through the large glass window from the room and from the standing shower. Nicely maintained property with beautiful gardens.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Having traveled to 138 countries, we can confidently say this lodge is among the most memorable stays we’ve experienced.
