The property is clean and the workers are very helpful. We were first welcomed with juice at the front desk. Meals were tasty. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful and quiet place, with relaxing bungalows and excellent cuisine. The Belgo-Rwandan owners are happy to show you the place and introduce into local culture.

Amazing stay. The location is spectacular, the view from the top of the hill looking over Akagera park is really wonderful. Lodges and tents face the sunrise. Many birds around at dawn.

We had an amazing experience at this lodge. We were picked up exactly on time and driven to the lodge where we were warmly welcomed with hot towels and lemon tea.

Akagera Transit Lodge was spectacular. The staff, especially Anthony/Antoine went ABOVE and BEYOND to accomodate a huge group of Americans. Not a single complaint.

We enjoyed good dinner and a night at the lodge. They had a guide there for us the next morning and after a buffet breakfast and them packing our lunch we headed out.
