The place is fantastic: well designed small hotel in the middle of the nature but close to the village. The owner and the personnel are five star rated: helpful, understanding, smiling.

Idembe is a hidden gem that I can't recommend enough. The professionalism, views, cleanliness are all above-par, you'll see, but I'd argue the star of this place is the food.

I had a late craving for food around 9:30 PM, and to my surprise, Lucerna Kabgayi Hotel was still serving — I was able to order a burger and fries without any problem.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Lucerna! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the overall ambiance was perfect for a relaxing stay.
