Timiryazevskiy is a district located in the northern part of Moscow, Russia. It is named after the famous Russian botanist and physiologist, Kliment Timiryazev. The district is known for its green spaces and parks, including the Timiryazevsky Park and the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University. Timiryazevskiy is a predominantly residential area, with a mix of Soviet-era apartment buildings and newer developments. The district also has a number of educational institutions, including the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy and the Moscow State University Faculty of Biology.
