When buying a ticket through the Internet editor wrote four letters after the last name. Only noticed at check-in. I called the contact phone two hours before the flight. Sent to the post a request to correct the ticket with the photo passport and the ticket number. Arrived at the airport reeled 2 km along the long corridors until he found the office. Seeing the ratings, I expected something worse. The step by passports and travellers transit is efficient, fast, without unnecessary paperwork. The slowest airport service I have ever seen! If you have connection here, make sure you have 2, 5-3 hours to be safe! It took 2 hours for transfer from terminal D to terminal D, due to 1, 5 hours passport control, even with 2 year old child, nobody cares! Aeroflot got Good planes! Good service on board! But the worse EVER service on terminals! Will stay away from Aeroflot because of this.

Worst airport I've ever been allowed to experience. At passport control, about 200 people were handled over 2 switches. The same thing about the security check. Very unkind and hardly English speaking staff! By bridging, I missed my flight to Dusseldorf. Aeroflot did not want to react to a replacement ticket at first and wanted to tell us to buy a new ticket. After 2h of negotiation, Aeroflot relented, with me having to wait 12h for the next flier. Prices are overpriced. Everywhere it smells like perfume! No smoking area. Airport, however, is clear and free Wi-Fi! Nevertheless, never again Sheremetyevo!

About the airport-I flew from Ekaterinburg to Copenhagen with a docking in Moscow, the luggage was handed in to EEb, now I get the luggage, I see my suitcase without a film, the lock weighs but not as I fastened it! I open-there lies a letter of happiness that I have confiscated 2 batteries for my quadcoptera DJI MAVIC PRO, I can pick them up only in Sheremetyevo in some of the certain days-pipets! Flew not once with Mavic battery everything was OK! Honestly it is not pleasant, when someone in your things digging-it's disgusting!
Great airplane ☝️ added USB can charge the phone and so on. Food of course-sandwich is not tasty at all and all! Aeroflot…

Prior to flying through Moscow I had been told to expect a less than pleasant experience. On the contrary this was one of my better airport experiences. On trip one I had a longish layover and was delighted to find a charging station with counter workspace immediately next to my departure gate. Not only did I get my phone charged, but I had a pleasant nap when I just dozed off. Second trip my flight was delayed getting into Moscow. The airport personnel did an amazing job of getting us from one end of the airport to our connecting flight.

Long waits, barely good food, lots of alcohol and even more alcohol. This is the No. 1 Alcoholic Airport worldwide. Since you prefer to spend more money on the flight, main not to fly over Russia. It's not fun, but it's already an experience. You can see how good other bad airports are in comparison. The eternally long security checks are particularly annoying, with everyone (! ) Passenger has to take off the shoes. The surveillance cameras are huge boxes and probably still date back to the Cold War. The airport is such a mix of liquor shop and Soviet Union Museum.
Aeroflot machines, such as those used between Russia and China, are unlikely to operate in Europe for safety reasons. It seems perfectly normal for someone from the ground staff to knock around with a hammer on the tail (yes, I actually experienced and yes, it was my flier). There were three screens (for movies) in the machine, each had a different color defect. Even the food was absolutely miserable.

Pretty boring airport if you need to bridge a longer stay in the transit area. Shops expensive, signage cluttered, no smoking area. The only plus is the free unlimited Wi-Fi, which has really worked quite well.

The airport is nothing special, the passport controls a bit lame. For this, Aeroflot's lounge is quite ok and offers plenty of food and drinks.
If you are first driven by bus to the plane, it is already outrageous in cold weather how long you will be left standing in the cold.

The pass controls sometimes take a long time. But for transit it goes fast and the boarding is on time. By and large a nice airport.

What can I say but I fly here for convince to me but nothing else. Perks you can walk in 15 minutes before boarding and you will still have plenty of time to get through security. The airport itself ugggg. Once past the gate there are no bathrooms, vending machines not even a drinking fountain. Not to mention there is no internet in this airport. If it is foggy or snowing forget it you will not fly in or fly out because there is no tower. This airport is a busy little airport and I would like to think in the future they would make some changes. However 5 years of flying in and out of here nothing has changed. Most important let's not forget the staff that work there… They are rude and cold to everyone, for 5 years same people no conversation at all. It is literally like stepping back in time when you are at this airport.

From Moscow airports "Shar" Personally I like more than others. If the price tag for parking spaces was more humane and these places themselves closer to the terminals was more-generally a fairy tale would be. But it is out of the category: "If yes ifs… "If you drive to the airport" gangs trails ", you can quietly around Probishhi on the leningradke. A little more goes on the mileage, but the payoff in time is undeniable.

This is probably my least favorite airport. I spent so much time just walking around trying to find a water fountain. The only free water they give is from the bathroom sink! They seriously lag behind other major international airports in other countries. There are hardly any places to charge a phone too. If you want something to eat or drink, good luck. They charge you an arm and a leg. I spent about $15 for some hot tea.

I'm giving 5 stars to this airport. I flew a couple of times from here and every time I was satisfied. Always clean and cozy ambiance. I love the leather chairs at the waiting areas. Very comfortable and with a modern design. It happened only once that one of their customs control staff, a mature lady, was pretty rude, otherwise everyone is friendly and professional. Aeroflot provides good service always and very professionally.

Traveled twice through this airport within the last month. There are many great things about it, but as we all know it takes one bad thing to ruin an experience. In this case it was women’s bathrooms in terminal D. Absolute insanity: very dirty, no toilet paper, empty soap dispensers. Gnarly details: apparently in Russia it is very common to pee while squatting on top of the toilet. This is not a joke: every single stall had pee and shoe imprints in top of the toilet seats. Let’s not talk about women who create this chain reaction. Let’s think why the airport refuses to do anything about it. Why not offer toilet seat covers? Such a simple solution. I was lucky I had multiple packs of paper hankies and wet wipes. What if you don’t? What do you do when you travel with a child? There was a very pregnant woman waiting in line after me, she looked devastated — the best I could do was pass on my paper hankie stash.

Excellent airport. If you fly abroad Aeroflot-only from here. Terminals D, E, F are international departures, mainly all Aeroflot flights. Terminals A-C-mainly charters and flights to Russia by other airlines. Terminals A-C can be reached free of charge by the internal bus from terminal D, if there is a ticket for departure from these terminals. You cannot smoke inside now, even if you are transplanted from one 8-i hour flight to another 8-i hour.

Bad airport. Everywhere long lines. Unfriendly staff. All confusing. Check-in desks reported on the tablo were closed, only business ones available (on 7 reported desks, open only 2). In the boarding area very few seats, overpriced catering, rude staff. Over an hour late without any explanation. Once I arrived at Destination, in the house, I discover that my suitcase has been opened and a substantial sum of money has been stolen. Moscow's favourite airport. Try to fly through it if there is a choice. Spacious, comfortable. The people are many, but the area is good-enough to move normally. This is a review for the Space Lounge inside of SVO. I generally look for 3 things in the places I frequent: Service — The service here is outstanding. So friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the can-do attitude. As you can probably imagine, coming off of a long flight, I was not in the mood, nor did I have the patience to meet any resistance to having my needs met (nice food, a cold drink, and a shower). Natalya made it all happen, in relative short order. Offering — This place has a amazing range of offerings — from various cold beverages — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, warm beverages — tea, coffee, espresso-based drinks, cold sandwiches, hot prepared foods, and so so so many cheeses and fresh fruits. Atmosphere — Two words — super relaxing. The decor is a bit modern for my taste, but I’m not going to complain, everything else was top top top notch. A special thank you to the staff there, you guys are a welcome site for a weary traveler. I hope you found this review helpful.

Legalized aferizm-taxi service. At the exit on arrival you will meet a lot of taxi drivers and try to inflate you at a rate of 1000% above the real. Be vigilant, check the prices in advance via the Internet, and if you can not call a taxi, exit the building and agree on the spot. Same story with currency exchange, legalized sell in the baggage reception hall. Before you give the cashier any currency, check twice the rate by which you will receive rubles (because it is significantly understated, for example a couple of weeks ago KB "NMB" LLC inside the baggage room bought a US dollar for 58 rubles, but bought it for 40).

It is an airport old. Very slow for everything, customs controls and security. The distance between terminals for the transfer is great… sometimes 30 min, and the flights are always delayed. Scale of 2h or 3h is reasonable… unless you're going to suffer. Stores very modest as the food service.

Hey. Today, 04.01.18, with me and my husband there was an absolutely absurd situation. At 8.05 am We had to fly to Rome. We arrived from Yaroslavl and were at the airport at 4 am. We passed the baggage, went through the customs control without problems. On the scoreboard It was written that the departure will be from the gate 06, and in the ticket gates 29, well here we are a little bit and confused. As A result, when we found out that our plane was departing from Gate 29, we were there at 7.43 am. And the plane there and not, have told already flew, though in a write-off, I remind, in 8.05 am. As A result, the employees of the Aeroflot were sent to us by a beautiful traveller. We had to buy new tickets for $1600. And Our departure is 28 hours later. Airport absolutely inadequate to accommodate people waiting for transference. There are no Lounge rooms but only uncomfortable chairs with armrests, they didn't let me out because I didn't have the Visa card and I had to stay 24 hours inside this huge airport the cleanliness was not the best and the staff, extremely rude and rude, I walked away as soon as I tried to sit at the bar despite even during the late hours when the premises were completely empty. Bad airport, people are being ammssata like the beasts to make files without a beginning nor an end in the midst of the duty Free and at the tables of the restaurants. Airport immense but well organized, easy to move inside the terminals D and F.

I Love Sheremetyevo, not only because I work there, but also as a passenger. On vacation try to fly out of SVO and go back there. One of the most comfortable and convenient airports in Moscow. Especially developed in terms of infrastructure terminal E.
If there is time before departure, I advise to take a walk in terminal F on the top floor-there is a nice museum dedicated to the airport.

The airport is a modern and important transportation hub in Eastern Europe. It is made up of different terminals. Access to the city is easy and can be done also by direct train. Atmosphere is very good, with plenty of choice in food stores.

The airport doesn't have Wi-Fi facility for foreign mobile no. S which I faced badly. Business lounges name Galaxy, Space for transit passengers are available (3 hrs only for priority pass holders. ) The airport has paid sleeping capsuls which are really great to have quick nap or long sleep. There is also shower facility.

The Airport is large, consists of several terminals, including modern E and D. Usually have to wait a long time in the queue at check-in, passport control, security inspection. I was going to Greece and had a 4 hour layover. The airport looks pretty clean, easy to navigate. There are too many stores, not sure why, but everything seemed to be close or unattended. Probably they were waiting for the crowd to arrive. There are multiple options to get food, I got a french hot dog and a bottle of water, prices are just Airport prices, not cheap. There are plenty of chairs to sit. Airport workers are grumpy, I asked about the international connection and the lady seemed to be in really bad mood just for nothing.

Airport quite comfortable and easy to move inside. I had no problem finding all services.

Navigating the airport is quite easy, distances are not too big. Decent selection of places to eat or grab a cup of coffee, plus a vending machine for space food. The space food is essentially some mush in a tube so don't get your hopes up but hey, what other airport has that? That's right, no other airport (or maybe I'm wrong, I didn't really research that).

You are left to abandon, manage, if you lose yourself, no one to guide you. The customs control/search is very sharp, which is a good thing, one can choose to be searched by a woman or a man, positive point. Airport with a beautiful architecture, beautiful rosettes, but a cold staff.

If I could give no star, I would. If this was a review for a horror lived through, I'd give 5 stars. This is by far the worst airport I have ever been to. It is the perfect Potemkin village — it looks nice and modern from the outside, the inside, however, completely disregards the purpose of airports. There are barely any places to sit and often there is barely any place to even walk through (imagining people running to catch their flight seems like a very bizzare comedy). However, there are plenty of very useless stores everywhere, selling the same products over and over again. On top of that, the bathrooms seem to be cleaned with a mix of urine and cigarette smoke; that is the only possible explanation for the horrible smell. That all could be overlooked if the staff were friendly. But forget that. Getting stuck at this airport for 19 hours purely because the staff of this airport and Aeroflot just does not care, is the perfect nightmare. The number of staff at the information desk during a time when A LOT of people are stranded there and need information suggests that the unemployment rate in Russia is 0 and they simply can't find more people to work there. So you are forced to spend 19 hours at an airport… Overnight. You have some rights as a paying customer, right? Wrong. A hotel? Forget about it. You might be told you would get an air mattress and then get one for 2 people hours later, but no blankets.

Had to visit this airport only once in 2015, with his wife flew to rest in Egypt. And impressions remained for all life, because it was the first flight from Moscow.

Having Passed all control-we have got to paradise, a paradise I call a charming shop. You can buy all kinds of imported goods from alcoholic drinks, to bags, purses, toys, sweets… In principle, we bought too much.
When we came to the waiting room and the clock was not short of time before departure we had a bit of a bite. There are many mini stalls with different drinks, coffee and tea. Waiting for the time for departure, we waited for the turn to catch the plane. I always wanted to go to the plane through the sleeve (for some reason not lucky with it), but also there was no luck. Went downstairs in my opinion and the one we were expecting buses. Having loaded in them we went and arrived I want to say not so fast we to the airplane.

A modern airport, but very expensive! I liked the Wi-Fi signal 5G! One of the first places to have this technology! Taxi drivers are very abusive with the rates, I would recommend using Uber or yandex Taxi.

What I liked is the free Wi-Fi that I was able to get even with my foreign number. If you have a connection, the domestic connection is on the first floor; which is rather convenient. However the security check queues are very long and you need the magic orange tray for your things.

Airport officials do not do more than confused when asked for information, seems willfully to miss the flights. A place that is very unfriendly with very little information and a service completely awful.

Overall ok airport. Not the newest, cleanest, friendliest, easiest to get around, or fanciest airport but it's fine. Had a 4 hr layover on our way to Genève and a 9 hr lay over on the way back to LAX. Both times we stayed in one of the lounges (Classic Lounge was better than All Star) and it was fine. Nothing to write home about, the food selection was meh, the drink selection was pretty good. The signage can be confusing but I appreciated how they wrote in "walking time" for distance to specific gates. I wouldn't do another 4+ hr layover here (2-3 hr is probably the max) but if I ever flew Aeroflot again and had a layover here id be ambivalent about it. The staff isn't super friendly but aren't mean — they're just doing their job and their attitude reflects that which was fine by me.

Second time I'm in transit here and it was a bit better than the first time. Still try to avoid this as much as possible. Not friendly, old, nothing to do.

No free internet unless you have Russian telephone no.! How can you have a Russian no. When travelled from aboard and arrived at 3 am! Transit from domestic arrival to international departure takes some time to walk but alright. A lot of sign and board everywhere. Big airport a lot shops and restaurants. Toilets are clean and fine. Be there twice, flights were delayed twice, both were with Aeroflot. You can pay with Euro at duty free shop.

Big airport, far from the city. Couldn't find the help center. Don't take a taxi there. They will charge you around 50 euros for a ride to the city, even though at the beginning they told you it was going to be 30. I'll recommend Yandex Taxi. Very cheap taxis, and have a flat fare. Better that Uber and Getting if you plan to move around the city in taxi.

We had to wait 1h30 for the passport control. But at least the woman who checked our passport was nice. The only woman who was nice in the airport. Everyone was/is mean and didn't want to help.

Having really positive experience in different airports in Europe and Russia now I can honestly compare the service. Firstly, the signs can easily puzzle you — you'll see them above, then you'll be lost, then you'll go back to find the lost direction, and then realise that while you were searching them somewhere above your head, they were under your feet! Secondly, don't lose anything there. Seriously. When it happened to my student (she lost her phone, ticket and passport in a toilet), we were running everywhere asking everyone who could help us. But no one could. There is no any information desk or something, the cleaning stuff just was playing with spinner without even pretending that they care. We were really exhausted, cause it was 10 minutes till the plane was landed off and there was still nothing found. No copies of passport or any other documents are allowed. Even if you're already registered for the flight or booked your ticket via internet. You're just standing there asking what everyone is supposed to do in this situation… and the answer is "We don't know". No one knows who is in charge of this, whom you should ask, where he or she is… you're just being ignored.

Long waiting times, hardly any good food, lots of alcohol and even more alcohol. This is the alcoholic-Airport No. 1 worldwide. Since confessed prefers more money for the flight, the main thing does not fly over Russia. It's not fun, but it's an experience. As you can see how good the other bad airports are compared actually.

Great. Quietly, quietly, inexpensively. All very home-like. There is a rule — inside walk in Slippers. There is a kitchen for those who want pogotowie, close to lake. You can swim and sunbathe. There is a Parking lot where you can leave your car, flying on vacation, it is an airport transfer. Very good choice, especially if you come for a few days. The hotel has just 7 rooms — book in advance.
