The staff are very polite, the guys from the front desk even shared the charging as their homes were forgotten. The room is stuffy, but only the fan who was in the room is saved. Breakfast buffet (average number of dishes) but we quite enjoyed it. If patio, Wi-Fi.
But I was struck by the "cleanliness" of the shower, disappointed when they found black mold in the corners.

Bad soviet hotel. Noisy outside and no AC, you open windows for some cold fresh air, you can't sleep because of all of this street noise both people and cars. Bad bathroom. Squicky old beds.

Lived in 356 room. Amazing number for the hotel with this number of stars. Recently renovated, clean, beautiful. The only underwork of the construction workers is to install the bath, because the water flows to the carpet in the room. The breakfast is European. Surprisingly, it's a tasty ovsjannaja porridge (and I don't like it very much). I'd recommend this hotel for accommodation. Not far from the train station.

The North Hotel is located in the centre of Petrozavodsk, a few blocks from the famous embankment of the capital of Karelia. The cost of lodging includes breakfast with a very decent buffet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Prices are democratic. Many Finns were present at the hotel (as in other places where they were staying).
