Excellent hostel! We'd love to come back again! Large, clean rooms, shared bathrooms, but we knew that. Breakfast in the cafe was delicious. The staff was very polite and attentive; they explained everything to us, showed us around, and provided shoe warmers. The kids played table tennis and were very happy. Thank you so much!
The hostel grounds border a penal colony. There's barbed wire along the border, and a siren sounds periodically. This didn't bother us, but I think it's good to know when booking.

Everything is great! The service staff is just super! They will tell you, help, explain, etc. The rooms are super well-kept, everything is very clean, which makes the hotel even more comfortable. I personally put 4 stars, only because there is no toilet and shower. Cabins in the rooms, although in principle this should not be provided. And one more nuance, there is a prison behind the fence with the hotel, which is certainly unacceptable for me! I emphasize once again, this is purely my impression. But in general, just SUPER! I decided to visit Kaliningrad on the advice of friends. I chose the "Baltic Express" tour from "Friday Centre". I highly recommend "Friday Centre" as a place to stay (there is also a 5*10m swimming pool, sauna, mini gym, bike rental… and much more), to explore Kaliningrad and its beautiful surroundings. In addition, there is an inexpensive cafe with a full range of dishes and drinks. Wonderful friendly staff, always ready to help and advise (tell). Extensive, educational excursions with interesting locations. And charming female guides.

The tour left a great impression. Initially, I expected worse service, but the reality was pleasantly surprising. As for accommodation: Friday center, hostel, but the hostel is almost like a hotel, brand new renovation, clean rooms, you can’t even find fault with the showers in terms of cleanliness, the rooms are clean, small, comfortable, the battery is adjustable from off to hot, it was cool for us and I turned it on at night for two. The hostel also has a sauna, swimming pool, gym, dining rooms, a cafe that cooks great food, breakfasts and dinners are included. As for the tour itself: transfer to the tourist area on a comfortable bus, interesting guides with knowledge of the material and a sincere presentation. It is very convenient that the tour uses an individual transmitter with an earphone, during the walk you can easily walk up to 100-200 meters and continue to hear the guide. The tour itself is on foot, which is a significant plus, and greatly distinguishes this tour from pension trips and excursions without leaving the bus. Accordingly, there are a lot of walks around different corners of Kaliningrad, Zelenogradsk, Svetlogorsk, during which they take you to all the interesting places and nooks and crannies. At lunchtime, they give excellent recommendations on where to have a cheap and tasty snack. And what not to visit, there are no contracts with cafes.

I found this place by chance on the Internet, I was looking for accommodation and excursion options in Kaliningrad. After the "Baltic Express" tour, I think that accidents are not accidental! I liked everything very much — accommodation, excursion program, the attitude of everyone I met in this center — girls and guys at the reception, cooks and waiters in the cafe, tour leaders, drivers — they greet guests very warmly, as if they were relatives! The cleanliness of the rooms, corridors, chillouts, throughout the hostel, designed in the loft style, will give a forum to many hotels with stars. Conference rooms, a swimming pool with a sauna (and even complimentary after all the cool excursion days! ) chillouts, a gym, a tennis table, a cozy kitchen with all the necessary equipment and utensils — everything is at your disposal and for your pleasure. Free transfer to the center twice a day on weekdays with charming drivers who will also tell you about their city with love along the way! Snow-white bed linen and towels speak for themselves. All plumbing is new, works well and properly. And I have not yet told you that Friday center offers many different programs, I caught fire with a bicycle tour! The cafe is a separate chic, song! Breakfasts, lunches, dinners at the level of a good restaurant! The interior of the cafe in the American style is very attractive and fascinating. The portions are huge, for a hungry adult man. And at a very democratic price. And the service!

We were there at the end of January 2025. We really liked the diverse format of group excursions. This includes cycling, hiking, active water recreation, a gastronomic tour, as well as a variety of excursion programs. The center's staff are active, young people. Very friendly and attentive. I thank Ismail and Vladislav for the interesting historical material during the excursions. I also thank the administrators of the Center for their care and attention. I thank Irina and Alena for their goodwill and for pleasant conversations. The center is very clean, comfortable and homely. There is everything you might need at any time. Very tasty and beautiful breakfasts and dinners. Hot sauna and an excellent pool. Thank you very much, we will definitely come again in the summer for an active holiday.

The cleanliness is unreal, order everywhere and in everything. I went to bed without thinking that someone had already slept on it😁. The toilet and shower are simply sterile. The room for two is small, but everything is thought out.

Guys, our daughter travels with the gymnastics team very often! Booked it for them.
We've been to a lot of places, stayed in different hotels and hostels. But according to the girls, this is the best hostel they have ever lived in. More comfortable and cleaner than many hotels! Clean rooms, dishes, common areas. Pool! Swimming pool, Carl! Good plumbing, kitchen, dishes. A bunch of boards. The whole team couldn’t bring down Wi-Fi.

Our AquaCamp has just ended and this fact is the ONLY sad note of the whole trip, because all good things come to an end sooner or later… What I would like to note is that the “hostel” itself is no worse than high-level hotels in terms of comfort and atmosphere. The food is very tasty and a lot! I would especially like to mention our guides on the tour — Daria and Vladislav, you are simply super! Both are very pleasant, active, athletic, beautiful, sincere, erudite and know their stuff, capable of helping the guest in any situation. We will definitely come back here again, because after such adventures, I couldn’t help but fall in love with Kaliningrad!
P. S. Don't listen to the haters who lament about the supposedly bad location of the hostel! Yes, the railway lines are nearby, but in all this time I have not heard a single train passing by, but within walking distance is the entourage district of Amalienau, which Daria will tell you about when we meet) ) )

The place is located behind the Ratshof area, there are different rooms with different sleeping places, a kitchen, you can take your own food, there is also a barbecue area. It's very beautiful in the yard. There is a small swimming pool. I really liked it there. Sometimes I will drop by to visit them. The service is excellent.

The Friday center employs true professionals and fans of their craft! I can say with confidence that this level of service and care can no longer be found in the Russian Federation. A great place to relax and spend an active weekend. The company's tour leaders and hostel employees are wonderful young guys with sparkling eyes and full of enthusiasm, they are ready to make your wonderful vacation even better. The hostel is lovely. I have never stayed in hostels; there has always been some kind of dismissive attitude towards them. But this one is better than many 3-4* hotels: perfect cleanliness, stylish interior of common areas, cozy small room, where everything is thought out for the convenience of clients. Far from the center, but Kaliningrad has such convenient public transport that this is not a problem at all. The bus stop is 5 minutes walk. But it’s quiet! No cars, no crowds of tourists. There is a railway nearby (trains and electric trains rarely pass through it), it does not interfere with sleep at all.
The sauna is great, there is a swimming pool. Should this really be called a hostel? :) Now I recommend him to all my friends and acquaintances. The food in their cafe is very tasty, one minus, despite the physical activity during the hikes, you won’t be able to lose weight :)

Friday Center is forever in my heart) an amazing place where the whole team works to make guests feel at home! Very tasty breakfasts, very clean hostel, very interesting excursions, everyone is very helpful. I'm glad that our acquaintance with Kaliningrad began from this place!
And although the hostel is located away from the center and the view from the window can be somewhat confusing, you quickly forget about it, fortunately, there are public transport stops nearby, you can easily go where you need to go. The Friday team is doing everything to make your trip to Kaliningrad unforgettable!
