Sibiu County SPA hotels

The name loosely translates to "Castle in the clouds", and it is really fitting. The resort is in a beautiful mountain side at about 1440m above sea level (4700ft), frequently above the clouds.

Great experience in every aspect. Surely, high price, totally justified by the level of service and the general quality.

Incredible place for a weekend getaway. Flawless service, beautiful scenery, excellent accomodation facilities.

I recently stayed at this wonderful 4-star hotel nestled in the mountains, and it exceeded my expectations in all the right ways.

A superb location, but it should be constantly maintained. There are some problems.
— the bar from the pool that is half torn from the support and hanging in the water.

I stayed at Pensiunea Alina "Adults Only" in Sibiu from May 4th to May 9th, 2025 – and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience!
The property is beautifully maintained with private parking.

We stay there for 2 days. The guesthouse is located just outside the old town. The room was clean and nicely. The breakfast was very tasty. The owners are very accommodating and help with all matters.

The hotel is super! The saltwater pool is very healthy. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast very good. The “ciubar” is main attraction because of hot water.

Not very far from Cluj, located in a village called Bazna, you will find Hotel Dobsi. It’s a beautiful village hotel, famous for the natural sulfur water Spas.

A hidden gem if you ever are able to find a room available, take it. The owner, the vibe, the people, jacuzzi and pool all amazing!
Definitely try the wines and the cocktails.

I celebrated New Year’s Eve at this hotel with my family, and it was an excellent experience overall.

I have recently returned to Mercure Medias, a hotel that I have visited many times since 2021.

We had a very good stay at the Golden Tulip. The staff were kind enough to call me after checkout when I forgot my phone in the room — a big thank you for that!

I highly recommend it, I really enjoyed my stay here the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were superrrr friendly and helpful they made everything easy and veryyyy welcoming.

What a fantastic little boutique, hotel located just steps from both old town, squares, tons of restaurants, and great shopping, not to mention the amazing history surrounding this hotel.

We had a great experience at this beautiful hotel. Especially the head of the service crew (his name is Janith) made our restaurant visit extraordinary.

Captivated by the history of the Palace and its garden, often described as a “Transylvanian Eden, ” I decided to visit it some time ago, and I’m glad to say it did not disappoint.

The atmosphere in the hotel, wonderful room, friendly and supportive staff, free mini bar amazing 1000% breakfast!

The owner was very friendly and welcoming on the phone, explaining everything about the check-in.

Casa Sasului in Bazna offers excellent value for money. Its proximity to the Bazna swimming pools is a great advantage.

Great fish. The best on the menu I recomend the trout in cereals with nature potatoes.

The view is awesome and the food is good. The size of the dishes could be larger.

The hotel is getting a bit old, but it's still a very nice place to stay. A status upgrade from a standard room to a royal suite was granted without any problems.

Casianna Paltinis Complex Turistic & Spa is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. The facilities are modern and spotless, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is peaceful.

A really pleasant and relaxing stay! The location is perfect! Right in the center of the town and at the beginning of the main road where all the shops and restaurants are!

It's a clean hotel, the staff are nice, the room was ok, in general.

I just had to write about this amazing place. I stayed here with friends from London but we met up with friiends from Sibiu, It is in very picturesque grounds and the food has a lovely Romanian twist.

A first class hotel close to the train station and center of sibiu. The rooms and the hotel is very tidy and clean, the stuff is always one step ahead and the service is immaculate.

After 50 years we traveled again to Romania, the country where we were born and lived more than half of our life.

My wife and I stayed for five nights here earlier this month. We felt confident it was going to be nice but it really exceeded our expectations.

For travelers with dogs, sometimes it is very hard to find a place to stay.

Located in a quiet area, "Vila Fortuna Art O'Clock" is a good place to stay, the price is very reasonable, the house is clean and the rooms are spacious.

We stay at this hotel 2 or 3 times a year as a stopover having flown from London.

The hotel is located in a great location just 5 minutes by walk from the main square. The room was comfy, spacious and very clean. Very good breakfast. The staff was quite nice but not always helpful.

I was surprised by the beauty of the room. It is a shame that the sink in the bathroom had not been cleaned after the previous visitor. The airport is easy to reach, less than 30 minutes by foot.

Great value for money. The rooms besides toilets are renovated and quite big. The location is great, considering the free parking.
