The review is for the restaurant. The food is exceptional, the location is great, but the main waiter was rude to me and my wife from the moment we arrived. The girl at the entry told us we can sit anywhere we want, but when we were about to choose a certain table, the guy told us with a condescending and lecturing tone to take another one with less seats. We still returned to eat there due to the wonderful food, and again we faced the rudeness of that guy — he was sarcastic when we decided what to order — "so soon? hmm! " — implying that it took us too much time to decide last time. These attitudes almost ruined our experiences there.

Best restaurant în Sighișoara. Evereything was at its best. From the waiter to the dinner and desserts. I totally recommend this place if you want to treat yourself properly.

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was the most romantic weekend ever. Beautiful quite hotel in the city center, vintage furniture, a peaceful zen bathroom and amazing dishes. Everything was perfect! We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Krauss and I'd love to stay there again.

A very nice placee to eat, with a few tables outside. Service was very fast. The portions are not very big, bit are tasty. The prices are quite big, but if you want to eat in the medieval centre that's the price you need to pay. But overall we enjoy almost 2 hours there.

Mainly about the restaurant: great disappointment.
I saw all the good opinions on trip advisor, but the food was not fresh. I asked for an appetizer, as a start, mozzarella, olives. Some snacks. Not even good as the ones we bought at the local supermarket.
My sea bass, spines everywhere. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Perhaps, buying the local food at the market, should be on trip advisor, because the gipsies have great fruits which they search (and they are the only ones) at the forest. They pick great raspberries. You will not get so fresh fruit, even at your hotel.
Cheese, eggs, fruits. Romania has plenty, they just lack resources.

We had a great room and the staff at the front desk as well as in the restaurant was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was similarly excellent.

This opinion is only about the restaurant! As for Romanian standards the service is better than good. Fluently speaking English with good training. But restaurant is also about food. Mainly about food. Starters from shop. Nothing local and fresh. Main dishes were catastrophe. Mistaken order (there is difference between garlic and rosemary… especially in taste). Everything dry, salty. The duck has been over cooked. The mutton has been killed by the kitchen. And so on and so on. The waitress told us that something was a “mistake of the kitchen” but in fact whole kitchen is a one great mistake. Avoid. Stay safe. Oh! There is a Wi-Fi… so, one star for a service and one for a Wi-Fi.

I had an amazing time at the hotel. The location is absolutely perfect. The hotel employees are personal, attentive, and friendly. The rooms and the overall decor were beautiful. And if you are taking the train, the staff will pick you up from the train station. I just can't say enough good things about my experience. I can't wait to come back. Oh… and the breakfast… yummy! :)

Visiting Sighisoara we stopped here for lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised with the wide range of dishes we could choose from. We choosed a traditional one and it was delicious. Good serving and great authentic dishes. We recommend it!

Very nice place, very polite staff, but the food was quite dissapointing. The gulas soup had nothing to do with the hungarian dish. I should add the high prices, not at all deserved. I've been here in sept 2017, because of the reviews and I would not return.

It deserves the TripAdvisor rating as the best place is Sighișoara. The food is to die for, the staff is very nice and helpful. It has a great view, in the historical part of Sighișoara. We even got a complimentary appetizer.

We went there for dinner. The chef has created special versions of classic Romanian dishes. The whole experience was very nice. The atmosphere and style of the basement add to the experience.

Really Number 1 restaurant here in Sighisoara! Top quality food, no expensive! Just the right price (quality never cheap! ) They propose different kind of meals, from local to International. I had soup of legumes and beef, really really tasty! Delicious! Also excellent service, thank you Mr. Sergiu! for your service and suggestions! Big portions and some extra as gift I received got me very happy and full! Also the place itself is characteristic, in a medieval place. Everywhere cleaned, also washroom! Good internet, fast! Really suggested!

We ate lunch here while sitting outside in the sunshine. The prices were similar to those of standard restaurants in Transylvania but the quality of food was exceptional. 18 lei for soup and 32 lei for duck salad. The waiter was also very patient after I took so long choosing a dish. Highly recommend!

We stayed there 2 nights because we thought the place it’s the best around. It turns out it wasn’t. We left the hotel on Monday and on Tuesday my wife was preparing to go to work, just to notice her BLACK HUBLOT watch wasn’t in her purse. The day before we left, one of the employees came to us in the restaurant and asked us for the room key in order to clean it up. When we went back, we noticed that someone looked into our luggages because they were moved. I called the reception the next day several times and the manager hung up on me. She told me to call the police and make a reclamation on her name because she is very sure none of the employees would “take” someone’s belongings and she will “sort it” with police. You can’t be so sure that someone doesn’t steal unless your in it. She treated everything like she was having a share. Today, a week later, my wife noticed that her glasses are missing as well. (they are black Miu Miu worth 500$ with stones on the side). Just in case the manager sees my wife’s property, there’s a black HUBLOT watch and black Miu Miu glasses she can message me on Facebook.

I was expecting more from this place sonce was on trip advisor. But it is quite expensive and not at the expected quality. I drank very good beer here.

Great location of the terasse, in a quiet corner, vith nice view. They have really good food and dessert, plus a small apperitive from the house while you are waiting for the food (that. S amazing if you are already starving when you get there :) )

Wonderful hotel with beautiful boutique style rooms and even better was the restaurant where we had some of our most enjoyable meals in Romania. The food was delicious, and breakfast was just incredible. You can order anything from the vast breakfast menu (included in the room rate), including hands down the most delicious croissants I've had in my life.

Very nice place to have the morning breakfast, certainly makes a nice difference from the heavy meat diet in Romania and seems like a lovely place for a romantic meal in the evening.

The food is great and beyond that and the service is at the same level.
