Top location, friendly hosts.
We were a guest one night and looked at the castle.
Currently it is being rebuilt, but it is normal operation. A visit is worthwhile because the hotel is a jewel box.

Very helpful staff, very nice rooms, place with charming atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel and restaurant. Very good food. It is an ancient villa. Really charming. Parking place for about five, six cars. Very near to the castle.

If you are visiting Romania, the Corvin castle is a must see, and spending a night at Villa Corviniana is the best accommodation for you. I was very pleasant surprised, amazing rooms, in a very well maintained old Villa. The old, but very well preserved furniture, gives you the impression you traveled back in time, but still enjoying all the comfort of great beds, AC, TV and Wi-Fi. The restaurant downstairs is also amazing, exceptional food and great service. I had an amazing experience here and I would highly recommend this place.

Brilliant prices, excellent service, staff where so nice and polite and management was amazing as well! You could see that they’ve put their heart in that place!

The food is delicious, the waiter speak english, the price is reasonable.

Friendly staff, clean and well kept dinning hall. Had excellent coffee to warm up after uite cold castle visit, desserts looked very good too!

Amazing little hotel with great rooms and comfy beds. The restaurant is also probably the best in hunedoara.

Excelent old style hotel and we got big room with old antique furniture, very big ceiling, restaurant is the best in this part of Romania, breakfast was very good, we spent here 2 nights with 2 small dogs, dogs unfortunately cant go into the restaurant, its has best locaton only 5 minutes walking distance from Corvin's castle!

Stood there for 4 nights and it was surprising. Very nice service/people, very clean and tidy, extraordinary food; pictures with the huge old style rooms are self explanatory :-) Also extremely close to Corvin's Castle.

Never again will I go here after being ripped off on my wedding day.

Nice venue with good sized portions. The food was fair to good. We were the only people in the restaurant at lunch so there was not much of an atmosphere. I expect it is more of a place people go for dinner.

Nice building, inside and out, period decor. Very nice accommodation, with all the amenities, air conditioning, mini bar, hairdryer, very spacious room, large bed and comfortable, even the extra bed was nice, with lots of plugs and space to place the suitcases. Free private Parking, with capacity for 4 or 5 vehicles. The Castillo de Covino is a 10-minute walk away. The owners are lovely, they help in everything and they give all kinds of tourist information. Excellent value for money.

We only ate there. Service was terrible and we waited more than an hour in an empty restaurant. Food was acceptable though.

This beautiful hotel is a short and pleasant walk to the Corvin castle. The best part were the hosts who were friendly, warm, and personable. Really made us feel welcome. We were given a beautifully decorated room, large and spotless with large windows facing the river and a view of the church. Breakfast was delicious and the bartender was also very professional & welcoming. Excellent choice, so happy to have chosen this place.

Wonderful family run hotel and restaurant. We were only there for one night but they made us feel at home!

Room was very small & there was noise from a wedding at the restaurant downstairs.

While not a 4 stars hotel per se it feels very cosy with beautiful antique furniture and welcoming owners.

The annoying part is the continuing futility of the placards displayed at the entrance about the use of "VISA and credit card": it gets convinced to pay with that but at the moment of paying "Unfortunately and Mars" = Sorry very common in area.
