Disappointing Stay – Misleading Listing.
We were really let down by our stay, especially considering how highly this place is rated on Booking. Com. It makes us wonder if some of the reviews are from friends or even paid for. Here’s what we experienced:
1. Arrival Issues: We arrived to find a locked gate and had to wait outside for about 10 minutes. The bell doesn’t work, even after trying it multiple times — not a great first impression.
2. Misleading Air Conditioning: The listing says there’s AC, and technically there is, but it’s controlled. We turned it on before going out for dinner, only to come back and find it had been turned off. This made us uneasy, as it felt like someone might’ve entered our room. We turned it back on to sleep, but woke up around 5:45 am hot and sticky because it had been switched off again during the night. Really uncomfortable and not what we expected.
3. Bed Setup: We booked a queen room and expected a queen bed. Instead, we got two single beds pushed together. Definitely not the same thing.
4. TV Was Useless: The TV was way too small, and although it turned on, we couldn’t get anything to actually play. It felt like yet another cost-cutting tactic.
5. Toilet Paper: Only one roll was provided, and it was already partially used. It ran out quickly, and we ended up having to buy our own.
Overall, the place was just okay — not the worst we’ve stayed at, but certainly far from the best.
