Central Suites

Booking confirmation says bottled water is provided free of charge. However, none is provided even when asked. Also, lack of consistency in level of service. 1st day all is fine, 2nd day no refill of tea or coffee, although we are paying the same price for every day we stay.

I was financially compensated for my stay by Hotels. Com due to the following:
– no bottled water provided even though it was supposed to be provided free of charge according to my booking confirmation.
On top of this there are several issues:
– The kitchten utensils are very basic.
– There is a lot of noice from the street at night.
– The communication with the landlords were not satisfactory. They were far from being serviceminded and helpful, difficult to get any kind of answers from them. Often it took many hours before they answer if we got any answer at all. Contacted Hotels. Com several times but Hotels. Com also told me, they were unable to reach the landlords!
– The cleaning service seems weird. Paying 10 Lei for cleaning is not the issue but I wonder how much cleaning you will get for just 10 Lei?
The apartment is good for max 2-3 nights stay. We stayed 7 nights. Noone bothered to ask if we need to change towels, get toilet paper or new tea bags or coffee capsules. We had to ask and ask all the time as the landlords did not provide anything by themselves. When you are paying for a service, you also expect a certain service level. Unfortunately, due to the communication and above issues, this place did not meet our expectations.
– Positive things to say: The restaurant downstairs serve nice food and you get a 10% disocunt when residing here.

We stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed our time! The apartment was beautiful, everything looked brand new, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was great too once the doors were closed, you could barely hear any noise from outside.
The issue we had was with the temperature in the room. When we arrived, it was already quite warm (27°C on the thermostat). The AC worked very well, but after some time it became a bit too cold, and the room would quickly warm up again once it was off. It might indeed have been caused by the restaurant downstairs, since the floor near the door was often quite hot. We contacted the staff about it and they mentioned someone would come to check, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. It wasn’t a huge problem, but it did make it a bit harder to sleep comfortably.
Another thing was we stayed for three nights, and it wasn’t clear that you had to call if you want fresh towels. We did call around 5 PM, but were told it was already too late for that day. There’s a sign in the bathroom saying that towels will be replaced if you leave them on the floor, so it was a bit confusing to find out that they don’t actually enter the apartment unless you call. Not a big issue, but it would be helpful if this was mentioned somewhere in advance.
It would’ve also been nice if there had been some contact with the owners. We just received the codes and that was it. That way, we could’ve asked directly about the heat and the towels.
