The service was awful so rude the view not so good limited drink menu.

Best gin tonic in Town! Great vibes and view! Totally recommend!

This place has a great rooftop view, kind and awesome staff and is great for a proper party with sophisticated good drinks.

Went to the skybar, great atmosphere, good music and decent prices. It's worth the loooooooooong stairway up to the roof.

The hostel is great, the rooms were nice and clean. Great location and incredible parties.

The location and sky bar are quite nice, but the sky bar only opens in the afternoon and you don’t need to stay here to take advantage. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the room was hot and muggy, with some bugs (at least on the first night. ) I would recommend staying at their sister Hostel (little Bucharest) across the street. They have a nice common area and street level couches to chill. You can always check out the sky bar at night.

Best place in Bucharest Old Town to chill out at sunset. Nice reward at the top of what it looks like a "never-ending-stairway" :) ) )

Amazing hidden away rooftop bar. Was perfect to enjoy the clear sunny skies to lookouts on the great architecture of the city. After the stair climb, because there is no lift, you really feel like you deserve that beer! In combination with the music it's a great way to spend and afternoon.

The roof pub is absolutely dreadful. My friend who has a broken foot and I went there and we were treated horrendously by the exceptionally rude staff. The place was absolutely filthy and packed full of people. There was nowhere for my friend to have an inch of space, never mind a seat. They knew she had a broken foot and we were charged to go in anyway. When we immediately turned around to leave, the staff were completely dismissive of us and I have never been treated with such ignorant disregard before. From the rudeness of their tone, to actually physically blocking my friends path to leave until eventually letting her pass, it was truly an experience I will never forget and would encourage everyone to avoid this nasty establishment like the plague. Would give zero stars if possible.

Rooms were good but showers need some work. I had I take two cold showers. Other than that the location of the hostel is great; its in the center so don't have to walk so far if you want to party, eat or shop.

Paper thin walls doesn't allow for any sleep if your neighbours are up. No blinds on the windows? Washrooms are terrible — the showers here are a joke. The only good thing is the location and the staff was nice enough but I'm sure there are competitors worth staying at. Would not return.

Dont even think to stay there. The whole place is full of bed bugs and the reception leaves the keys exposed to everyone, as a result someone tried to get into my (private) room the night I spent there. The security system is week with pins you open the front door so if someone has ever been there again has access to the building. The place isnt defenetely as it seems on the pictures, the bathroom is dirty and full of hair, also in the rooms there were two windows and only 1 curtain and the worst of all the bed sheets were used and no clean, same thing with the towels that from white turned into grey. The walls were thin as papper and had dead bugs and shoe marks on it and the floor was unclean with bread leftovers on in and someone had threw out on it. If you stay there you risk your health, your property and safety!

It is located at the old town center so it woukd be a bit noisy at night. But it provides easy access to most of the place of interests.

The experience here was amazing and if I die I hope I will get here to spend the rest of my eternity. I love everything about this place, the people, the location and the bedroom too. 5 stars from me, thanks God this place exists!

Better to sleep in the street than in this site, mattresses with a strange yellow spot that covered all its surface, pillows and nordics full of pubic hairs, mouldy carpet and with bad smell, bedbugs between the sheets, stench to rust coming from the bathroom that It was flooded. If I had to describe this hostel with a word it would be FILTH.

This assessment belongs to the PURA VIDA SKY BAR: it is now 9 pm. I got the advice from a local. If you make all the stairs upstairs you are great. I did it, however, I had a bad day: Beer? No beer, we are running out. OK, a wine? No, we are out. What has this guy in his Glas? This was the last wine. Scotch Whiskey? No, we just have Kentucky stuff. OK, give me a Coka Cola Zero (or light). Do you have? No, I am sorry. AHHHHHHHHHHHH OK, give me the water for 8 Lei HELP!

Clean hostel in the centre of Bucarest old town. However, the kitchen is small and not to much services are offered. The bar on the roof is crowded and animated at weekends, there are nice views too.

Very affordable hostel in the heart of Old Town. You can't get a better location than this, you walk out the door and are plunged into the markets and cafes. Live music trickles through your window as you relax in your room. Really enjoyed our stay here The bathrooms were a bit small and cramped or I would give this 5 stars. Absolutely would stay here again.

Best old town view. Worth climbing each step (the sky bar has only a staircase, no elevator). Plus friendly staff, excellent music and good chat with travelers that are visiting Bucharest. My summer escape.

Great view, hate the stairs. But nice idea with the motivational quotes:) )! Even though I liked it, I gave 4 because they need to invest a bit more. :) But will be back!

Great place for solo female travellers. Can demand for female dorm. Is 4 person sharing. Each floor comes with a security access lock. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. Very to train service too.

It's perfect to have a drink with friends. The building it's not very tall but it offers some nice view over the city center. Sometimes it might be quite hot.

The bartender who served me was really friendly. As someone who works behind the bar I enjoy chatty bartenders. We had a fun chat about cocktails and he served me a delicious Cosmopolitan. If anyone's ever around the area — definitely stop by! The view from this sky bar is amazing!

While the place has great views and very cool crowd, I had to wait very long in line only to see the bartender chatting up with others (I understand it is a nice thing to do, but not when there's a waiting line in front). When I got to order I saw him only pouring water over a dirty glass to clean it and then served me my cocktail in it. Big no-no.

Rooms are small but clean. Very small showers. Nice rooftop bar.

Located on the top floor of a youth hostel, the place is friendly and friendly.
Small flat, the price as soon as consumption a little excessive for a young and festive access bar.

A very nice hostel with friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and a great position, right in the heart of Bucharest! We had really fun here. Unfortunately the weather was quite cold during our staying, so we didn't enjoy the cool sky bar on the top of the building. Next time (hopefully soon) we will ;)

The sky bar has a great view with open air. The owner is amazing as well! I really enjoyed talking with him and getting to know his passions. I will be back.

The worst hostel I ever stayed in. The bedroom was on a 4-5 floor without a lift, next to the kitchen without a door that isolated from the smells and the rest of the people. Pretty poor cleaning, lousy, blood-stained pillows. The bedspreads very dirty and full of hair and grime. The last girl we attended at the front desk when checking out was really inoperative, didn't understand English, knew nothing about information and was charging us more. We waited for him to call to confirm the initial price, and by paying him he would not give us the return, because "there was no change in the box. " In the end he gave us his reluctant money. To take the coffee "free" you have to go to another local and the beer they offer is a lie.

Amazing hostel. I think this one of my favorite hostels in Europe. Really downtown, great services (no elevator tho) and very nice views.

Excellent value for money.

I was expecting more costarrican stuff, up to the Pura Vida lifestyle, but all they had was a bartender on the phone all the time and just a few (warm) beers.
