Hotel MOXA

I had an amazing experience at Hotel Moxa! The rooms were spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and varied, with a lovely courtyard setting. The location is ideal—central yet peaceful—and the staff were outstanding, always helpful and welcoming.
I highly recommend Hotel Moxa for anyone visiting Bucharest. I can’t wait to return!

Very nice hotel with excellent and very kind team! We stayed 10 days there and it was a beautiful stay. Location is perfect, the hotel and garden — really very nice and artistic.

Nice hotel, clean large rooms, excellent bathroom. Very pleasant lady at the reception. Good breakfast, free spa. They charged me a bottle of water I did not use, but probably a room number smixup. Don't wanna be petty, so 5 instead of 4 stars.

What a fantastic friendly hotel about 20 minutes walk from the old town.
On arrival we were given an upgraded room. The room was brilliant, it had a large comfy bed, it was quiet with blackout curtains. We had a great night's sleep every night.
The breakfast had both hot and cold food with the nicest coffee.
Our room as cleaned every day and the hotel is self is very clean.
The bar was open all the time with crisp and nibbles on the tables.
The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful they made our stay very special they could not do enough for you they were all very chatty and happy.
On night in the bar we ended up watching football with the owner and his friend, they told us all about an amazing park near by and marked it out on a map for us. The owner asked us about our stay, he was genuinely interested in how we found the hotel.
The staff that worked there were very friendly and happy, they had nothing but nice thing to say about the hotel and the owner.
I think this says a lot about the hotel and the way it's run when the staff love working there and it is shown in the way they treat the guests, they make you feel part of the family and want you to have memorably stay with them.

Stayed at the Moxa as part of a group of Irish hikers. The hotel is well situated near the main city boulevard. The hotel was spotless with very accommodating and friendly staff. My wife had an issue with our initial room not having a window, room was changed without hesitation and we were given a room overlooking the street. Rooms are small but immaculately clean. Bar staff are friendly and polite.

We got an elegant room with an antique feel & all modern necessities. Location on the main historical street by a quiet park, nice! As a bonus — a cozy small sauna, great for a couple to relax after a day in Bucarest.
And SUPER hospitable staff: we got a coffee while check-in, a sunny breakfast outside and a bootle of water to go after check-out. We’ve visited 40+ countries, but this level of attention to detail… Just wow! Many thanks especially to Angelica!

Everything looks like in picture which is great, location is amazing. However in terms of noise I guess that it depends on your luck, we had the room towards Victoriei and could hear any car passing, we slept with ear plugs.
Service was great, Sever the receptionist has been incredibly helpful, thank you a lot!
A note for the management: please look into soundproofing the rooms, I’d have given 5stars if it was quiet too.

The MOXA Bucharest Boutique Hotel was just what we expected and what we needed! The room was clean and the service was really good. The front desk staff was very helpful with information and even loaned us an umbrella when it rained! The location isn't really within walking distance to Old Town, but it was a short Uber ride. I would definitely recommend it!

Very nice hotel, kind hotel staff, sensible to our needs, willing to help. Quiet room, with plenty of space and very clean. Tastefull breakfast with lots of choices to the buffet. The hotel is situated close to the old city, a 25' minute pleasant walk through Calea Victoria with many beautiful buildings to discover and museums to visit.

Very nice hotel with professional service. Angela is a great hospitality manager. We were on business — 19 persons from Sweden — and all enjoyed our stay. Location is good with easy access to many places of interest and conference avenue. Best recommendations.

Rooms were clean and cozy but they didn't had single use slippers. Minibar was fine. There is not much choice for breakfast but it was tasty. Location is awesome there are 2 great looking parks just across the street and lots of place for food and alcohol around. It is approximately 25 minute of walking to "Old Town" but although it is a little too much there are places to see on the way so I decided walk instead of taking a cab. Employees were kind and helpful. And price is quite alright according to rest of Bucharest.

This hotel was perfectly situated for visiting the city, easy to walk everywhere but taxis also on hand if you don't want to walk. The staff here were just so helpful, and the ones we dealt with were Maya, Adrian, Marius and Bogdan, they all helped us with various things and were there for anything we needed. The hotel was clean, we had a twin room which was very comfortable with an ensuite, and everything was in there, including a safe and a fridge. They also have a lovely tree lined courtyard in the hotel where you can sit and have a drink outside, in a lovely quiet setting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, however long your break is. Go for it!

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for 4 nights in the first week of March, 2024. I would recommend it in the highest possible terms. The hotel is privately run (not one of a chain of hotels) and this fact is abundantly evident in the excellent service rendered by the engaging staff. Special mention should be made of Maia, Adrian, Daniel, Stefan, Bogdan, and the Front Office Manager, Cristian, who all went out of their way to ensure that I had the happiest of visits to Romania. I would also recommend the drinks made by Andrei in the Bar — his Gins and Tonics were excellent and there was no shortage of ice and lemons — contrary to the comments in an earlier review. I believe this to be the best service you will find in Bucharest.

I had a long 3-week stay at Moxa and from the moment I arrived, the staff made my stay comfortable. The reception was always friendly and helpful, and the restaurant staff were always providing wonderful breakfast buffet and service. Thank you Mary, Alex and the rest of the team). My room was cleaned and always Monica would ask if I needed any extra tasks done in the room. The management does an excellent job responding to requests and making sure that I felt like this was my home away from home. Thank Gratiela and team. I will be back again!
