Very nice stay in Mamaia!

The teen at the front desk, responsible for check-ins, was almost hostile when we arrived. Don't know why … It seemed to be something more than "I have a bad day, I don't like my job" but is not the kind of reception one expects when paying 100 euro for a room per night. Also, the rooms are small and our balcony had a very bad smell from the drainage system (solved by the cleaning personnel). The bathrooms are even smaller. The good parts? The hotel is newly renovated, the rooms clean and the design interesting. Breakfast is self serving and decent. All in all, I wonder why is so expensive when it offers about same conditions as hotels twice cheaper. A few more details. The hotel and it's immediate surroundings are ok but step a few meters away and you stumble upon garbage and dirt. Also the parking lot is a mess (the hotel staff denies any responsability, claiming to be public space; although included parking lots are advertised). Wifi was free but iffy. I managed with some patience to watch netflix.

Close to the beach, food is good at the restaurant, but the staff is very poorly trained, they forget what you request, diplomacy exists only if you bribe them. As long as you are not requesting for respect and that the staff do their jobs, your stay will be perfect. Ah and they extremely economic on lights on the hallways, they are turning them off all the time and when you exit the room it's almost pitch black. Of course, the light switches are at the end of the hallway. "Good policy! "… I would give it 3 stars max, also a visit from the sanitary dept might be a good idea to wake some people up.

The rooms are Neat and seem to be clean. There is no free Wi-Fi even if the connection is good. The view leaves something to be desired, and in the hallway the light goes. The staff is friendly. Can't expect more.

Iata experienta noastra. Dupa ezitari de a petrece o vacanta pe litoralul romanesc am petrecut totusi 7 nopti la hotel Sulina din Mamaia. Eram orientati spre alt hotel (IAKI) dar fiind "last minute" rezervarea, erau ocupati. OK — camere renovate, curat, mancarea acceptabila. nemultumire : 1. La rezervare am intrebat clar daca ofera un pachet ALL INCLUSIVE. Raspunsul a fost DA, bineinteles Dupa ce am achitat o suma consistenta (echivalent vacanta externa 5 stele) am constatat de fapt ca am achitat in avans 3 mese A LA CARTE. Ei si-au asigurat 3mese X 5persoane 7 zile. Returnarea banilor fiind refuzata foarte hotarat. De mentionat ca erau foarte multe alte optiuni pentru masa in Mamaia. 2. La finisarea camerelor de hotel au perforat peretii pentru prize in prea multe locuri. Unele au fost acoperite de catre amatori. unul dintre copii a atins peretele si a picat afara peticul reparat. NE-AU TAXAT nici mai mult nici mai putin de 250 lei (60 EURO) Cost real reparatie 20 lei. Datorita acestor mentalitati balcanice, lacomiei si smecheriei romanesti. Nu recomand! p. S. Prefer sa mi dau banii strainilor care ma respecta.

Room ok, food ok, no pool, no massage.

I really really like the place, the rooms and the restaurants, the people working there are all nice and the hotel is really by the sea! What I did not liked is that the restaurant is very small and there is only a ballroom at 1st floor for more than 100 people, but the hotel has arround 150 rooms. So I think they need 2 restaurants. ButI liked all the rest.

Conditii foarte bune de cazare pentru perioada vizitata. Masa tip bufet cu o gama foarte variata pentru toate felurile (aperitiv, fel principal, salate, deserturi). Personal amabil. Camere curate. Caldura pe perioada rece e asigurata prin aparatele de AC. Un minus care se regaseste la aproape toate hotelurile vizitate — lipsa etanseitatii la cabina de dus. Se scurge multa apa pe jos.

Excellent hotel good location good service of rooms, restaurant, etc. But with a reception service that leaves a lot to be desired… Damage.

Everything was perfect here except this morning when an employee rushed us and yelled at us because we got in the restaurant 5 minutes before when the breakfast starts, just to get a coffee. Also it is very annoying and communist to make your guests wait with the check out until you physically check their rooms… Really? If I pay close to 100 euro per night, I am not gonna steal your towels!

Nice and clean rooms, very close to the beach. The restaurant it's OK, and the price are more than acceptable.

I gave this hotel a 4 as I believe that hospitality presides over bad architectural decisions. Below are some pros and cons Pros Near the beach. Beautiful hotel marble and gold. Very good restaurant with good waiters who smile whilst serving you helping you enjoy your meal. Air conditioning in the rooms. Meshed door to the balcony so no insects get in. HD TV facing the bed has lots of channels. Free Wi-Fi. Cons Shower soaks the bathroom even with the towel in place its really inconvenient. Bed was a bit too hard for my personal liking you may find it to your taste if you prefer that. Toilet is placed awkwardly and you can sit straight on it.

Highly recommended. After the complete refurbishment, the hotel looks very good (inside and out), the interiors have a classy design with nice touches, the rooms are clean, with minimalistic lines, and the staff is professional. Open all year round, the hotel can be used in Autumn/Winter/Spring also for corporate or private events, as well as parties. Will surely come back to this property. Well done!

This review is solely for the restraunt. Complete low standards of service all the way around. Had to order the same item multiple times and ended up leaving because the waitress just ignored our request. Food was very low quality. I don't normally write negative reviews but this place claims to be 4 star hotel/restraunt and the service is down right horrible.

Beautiful rooms, good food, great service.

Clean nice room but too small.

Spacious, bright and clean room. Comfortable bed, bathrobe and soft and large towels. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Two minutes from the beach of Mamaia, is a four star hotel close to the restaurants but at the same time secluded, very comfortable to enjoy a few days of rest on this beach. We'll be back safe!
