Doha Central Plaza Hotel

I stayed at Millennium Central Doha with my parents for three days and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is very well located and fairly close to most major attractions in the city.
I booked the stay through the Visit Qatar portal for around 920 QAR (approximately 250 USD / 23K INR) for three nights, which included breakfast and VOA for Indian nationals — definitely a great deal.
The hotel is conveniently close to a metro station, just a 3-4 minute walk away, making it easy to get around. The room was quite decent, although I felt it could have had better lighting as it was a bit dim. The bathroom was neat and clean, and the air conditioning worked very well.
The staff were helpful and courteous, and the breakfast had a decent variety of options. However, if you are vegan or vegetarian, the choices may feel somewhat limited.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha.

A very pleasant stay whilst working out in Doha. Room was clean, yet a little tired. My room was cleaned every day, water replenished and bed made.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold food. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Very nice hotel for a stop over in Doha. Staff are very friendly and the hotel rooms are neat and clean. About 2 mins walk from the metro station. Took me exactly 45 mins from my room to the boarding gate in Doha airport. Very convenient.

Worst hotel — would never stay there again and would never recommend anyone to stay as well. Security is useless, does not scan bags, which poses as a security risk. Rooms are dirty, carpets stained. Bathrooms are outdated and not in proper working condition. Staff are useless.

The hotel is conveniently located just a few hundred meters from the metro station, making it easy to access public transportation and explore the surrounding area. Upon arrival, check-in was a smooth and efficient process, with staff members providing a warm welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary airport transfer offered by the hotel, which was especially appreciated as it was arranged for an early morning departure.
While the overall experience was positive, one area that could be improved is the condition of the room. The room, while spacious and clean, showed signs of aging, with some fixtures and furnishings appearing somewhat outdated.

Let's start with the positives, the staff were very friendly and helpful both reception and dinning staff.
The room… oh dear! The photos say it all… the room was disgusting. The bathroom felt unclean and unhygienic. The bedroom carpet was stained and clearly uncleaned in the corners, the walls were drab, marked and wallpaper bubbling.
I see that the hotel has received similar feedback over the years and there has always been polite responses but clearly no intention to bring this hotel back to its former glory. We certainly wouldn't stay here again.

Main perk is that it's close to the metro station, no other good perks and room are not nicely decorated.
We had stains on the carpets that were not removed even after multiple cleaning, and the roomed didn't smell nice even after cleaning. Not recommended.

It was ok, it is a smoking hotel so regardless of whether you have a smoking room it may smell. The room was comfortable but for a 4 star the water pressure in my shower was broken and it didn't feel so great. The bed was decent, the staff were able to help me with issues I had.

The room was not well lit at all. Only 3 lampshades. There was no hot water to shower with. The shower floor was not separated from the actual bathroom floor hence our bathroom kept flooding after showering. A bit more pride could be taken in the upkeeping of the hotel rooms. Wifi is extremely slow. The rating of this hotel being a 4 star hotel is misleading. Very disappointing with the condition of the hotel room.

Paid for this hotel in full in February 24. On arrival on 27 Nov reception couldn't find our booking they said I cancelled the booking. Later they said they cancelled the booking due to non payment. I phoned the travel agent. And eventually they gave us a room with a double bed (I booked a room with 2 beds for me and my daughter) they moved us to another room. The fridge did not work, the bathroom handle was broken and the carpet very dirty. This was a nightmare stay and they keep on blaming someone else. Do not use them.

It's a four star hotel. But the rooms could be a bit cleaner. S we rice was wonderful. People r great. I only stopped for a day. They have breakfast, restaurant on site, swimming pool, and airport shuttle.

I was frankly expecting a more modest hotel based on the reasonable price. But it was quite lovely, modern, and professionally run. I liked the high ceilings in the room. Early breakfast allowed me to eat before catching a 9am flight out of Doha.

Service is not good… I give 1 star.

Staff are all accommodating.
