Very considerate and outstanding service — by all the staff that we encountered, but esp by Shaheen 👌 thx to all of you for your attention to detail and having made our stay very enjoyable!
The hotel itself is pretty and historical but everything is outside — breakfast served in another place. Swimming pool and gym in another place. Sauna limited to 15 min in another. So you have to always leave the hotel to use the services. Not practical. The drain in the bathroom was clogged and flooded the bathroom. I asked 2 times for it to be fixed. The lights in the room are difficult to use. They brought someone to resolve the issue but didn't. You pay a lot and you don't get everything you paid for.

Traditional architecture, carved wooden doors and a genuinely lovely central courtyard where breakfast is served. It's the sort of place that photographs beautifully and lives up to it. Rooms vary a lot in size, so it's worth being specific when you book. The staff went out of their way to sort a late checkout for us without being asked. Charming, intimate, and refreshingly free of corporate polish.
