Hotel was decent. Location is great for airport. Rooms were a bit noisy with planes but expected. There was no hot water in shower. Told desk and they just said, oh okay. Our room had a really weird smell but it went away after a few hours. Room was nice with fridge and plenty of room to set our items on.

Staff wasn't the brightest. Very slow service and not very helpful. My cousin asked for extra blankets and the front desk lady said no once she saw her walk away she then decided to provide an extra blanket. The last day we found massive ants on the bed. No idea how since we would only go to the room to sleep. Advised the front desk and wanted to speak with a manager and was denied as I had to wait until the next day. No in between water. Goes from Hot to Cold. Horrible Horrible Horrible!

This place needs lots of renovations. This is a place to go to when everywhere else is booked. The plus side, It is conveniently located close to beach, stores and restaurants.

A great hotel for the price. I just stayed for a quick overnight when passing through. It was not extremely fancy, but it was nice and clean, with helpful staff and comfortable beds. Will definitely stay there again.

I loved it, all well accessible.

A great little spot near the Airport. Walking to pretty much everything you need. Cute little patio to enjoy the weather and a nice pool. Rooms are basic but clean.

This was a wonderful resort that only sustained some minor cosmetic damage from the hurricanes. The location is just a short 5 min walk to two beach areas and has a pool on site if you just want to spend a lazy day. Staff is very helpful and bilingual. Would visit again when we come back to puerto rico!

Room was very nice. Location was a bit out of the way, but cozy. Great friendly service, and a good atmosphere. Only complaint is that there is no elevator or luggage carta which was hard to be without since we had many heavy bags.

Great and courteous service. The hotel is centric in the middle to the business distric of Isla Verde. Rental Car is right there.

This place is cozy. Quiet, peaceful. It is near everything beach, restaurants, small malls, fast foods, buses to the old city just for 75 cents. Its a great place to stay for less then you expect.

Love this place this kinda of hotel is very homey and this is where you get a real tropical experience being in PR, will sure be back, however traffic kinda sucked.

The location is within walking distance to beach and eating establishments. They rent cars also. Parking is not guaranteed. There is paid parking near by. Our room had a refrigerator. No microwave. The shower was terrible. You either had hot or cold water. The staff was pleasant. No restaurant in the hotel.

The staff was nice and polite and it's three blocks away from the beach however the carpet turn my socks black, the bathroom had mildew in the shower, there are no coffee markers, irons, blow dryers, phone, or face towels in the room. Every day after the maid clean we had to ask for new face towels. They don't normally give face towels to customers. The hotel advise bar and restaurant but they have neither. They don't have airport shuttle but they do have rent a cars. You also have to connect your Wi-Fi in the lobby since the signal is to weak to reach the rooms.

This hotel is perfect for a vacation weekend. Restaurants are walking distance as well as the beach. The pool is very clean like the rooms. Internet sucks but thats a pro++ for ppl who wants a perfect getaway. We found the staff to be very nice and polite. Def coming back!

Fair admission: My wife and I are very low maintenance Americans and literally use hotels as a room to sleep in and store our luggage in. That is it. We don't need a fully stocked bar, valet parking, or bellhops or people waiting on us hand and foot. That's stupid. We do expect the following: Friendly staff and cleanliness. Within those expectations, Villa del Sol was perfectly acceptable, and in regards to service was above our expectations. Maria and the staff were perfectly friendly and a wealth of information about local rules and customs. We truly enjoyed our stay here and cannot wait to come back.

This hotel is the most terrible hotel I ever seen. They took my money however I never checked in. The rooms are terribly dirty and full with insects, and the smell is unbearable. Location is unsafe, the photos are not covering the reality, they are fake. I made the booking online but when I arrived and saw the rooms and the whole building I decided not to stay, but they never gave back my money.

I am en experienced traveler with unlimited hotel stays throughout the US, Canada, Central, South America, and the Caribbean. I asked my agent to find me a hotel with “parking” in Isla Verde. This is a 2 story, very small motel that doubles as a car rental company with very limited amenities in the room. It claims to have free parking but, the majority of the spaces are taken up by the car rental company so you are left with about 4 spaces to fight over in the evenings. One space is used for washing and cleaning rental returns. So if you have a vehicle you may not always find a parking space around a neighborhood with limited areas for parking since it is surrounded by high rise apartments. There are no desks, just 2 lamps, one chair, dresser, Led TV, night table, and a comfortable bed, no individual irons in rooms, or hair blowers. The bathrooms are small soap bars ¼” and brittle, towels have been in service for many years but white. Linens changed once a week or so it was in my room during the 4 day stay. The staff is bilingual, friendly and helpful. The internet service is poor, especially if you desire to work from any of the rooms. Signal on the Wi-Fi is very week perhaps because of the concrete walls. There are hidden fees as well, I had to pay an additional 12 dollars for an energy fee. The room doors have an old fashion house key not electronic locks and the door locks flimsy but will keep the honest people out.

Pretty good place for the price. Minutes away from the beach and a pool. Everybody here was friendly as well.

Cons: The bathroom ceiling fan was not working when we got there which is no big deal but on the third night the bad wiring literally caught fire. My boyfriend had to run to the lobby to get a fire extinguisher though luckily it burned out by itself so we didn't have to blast it with the extinguisher. The entire room reeked of noxious smoke so we moved rooms and the new room didn't smell much better! The new room they put us in smelled horribly of cat urine. It brought tears to my eyes. Not sure if it was some chemical or what but it made it hard to breathe and was barely bareable. Pros: Close to the beach.

Not a great experience. They have very limited parking, the room was adequate, & the shower didn't work. The price should have been a lot lower for the condition of the hotel. The only redeeming thing was a worker named Maribel. She was wonderful. They also rent cars but they have some hidden fees and requirements.

This is not a 3 star hotel. It's actually a motel and not hotel. The neighborhood is dirty and creepy. The rooms are small. There's only 1 night stand table and 1 light. The room is very dark. The pool closed at 7pm. There's cats all over the neighborhood. There's even one cat living in the hotel. And there's bedbugs! Stains on towels, sheets, and blanket! I suggest paying more and be comfortable.

Excellent, is a welcoming, accessible to the beach and places of San Juan.

Horrible hotel! I couldn't lock my room. Half the shower water was coming out the bath tap making even less water come out. All the items in room are chipped with paint/wood coming off. The lady was nice though and gave me a bottle of water when I accidentally bought a Coke from soda machine. Would never come back here again and the owner of the hotel was completely rude. I hope he spends a lot of time by himself with no guests to contemplate the direction his disgusting hotel is taking.

I went with my cousin for her birthday and it was cool.

Great place — — cheap, near the beach, exotic, nice people. They also rent cars, really nice and new cars.

I go where you feel you happy always and I am at your side always.
