Clean rooms, employees seviciable, attentive, cordial, good parking, easy accesz to beach and restaurants, good prices.

Front room 110 is impossible to sleep in. Had my earbuds on all night but could not avoid the loud noises from the busy road outside. The AC was low and you are not provided with remote to self adjust. While I understand the lack of ammenities I find it incredible to pay 140+ for such room. Avoid.

Excellent location, outstanding service, few steps from the beach, security, parking, clean rooms, comfortable (very) comfortably beds.

This is a small, comfortable hotel with courteous employees and self parking lot. Rooms are spacious and clean, a/c, basic cable TV, lots of storage space and an UNBEATABLE LOCATION! EVERYTHING is walking distance, pharmacies, restaurants, bars, sushi bars, 24/7 stores and the beach is right behind it. This girl also has a shared kitchen and living space. It's not luxurious nor modern but it will do just fine for a wonderful trip/vacation at the best spot of Isla Verde.

Modest hotel but confortable. Great location, the staff is humble and very kind. Free parking and very close to the beautiful Isla Verde beach. Restaurants, nightclubs, car retal and 24 hours pharmacies just in case are something to see around. At 10 minutes from international airport, Condado area and Old San Juan. If are looking affordable price this is good choice.

My sister friend stayed here. Is nice. Small room but nice, clean. You could use the kitchen. Behind the building is the beach.

I saw the biggest roach I’ve ever seen in my life, and the charged me about 250 for a room of only two.

Couldn't sleep. Close to the road so you can hear every car go by. 190$/night seems way high for a hotel equivalent to a 40$ motel 8. But the people behind the desk were very nice and very helpful… I'd give it 5 stars if it were based on customer service alone. As a matter of fact if it weren't for the customer service this hotel would get 0 stars.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience we made reservations in advance to prevent misunderstandings we ask for a room with 2 beds and without any notification upon arrival to our surprise we where told there was a cancellation of our reservation because our card did not pass but sure enough it pass when they offer a small room with a portable bed for higher price will never use or recomend borinquen to any body else.

This motel is an inexpensive authentic Puerto Rican experience. Yes the towels are starchy because they weren't rinsed in fabric softener, yes the water takes 2 minutes to arrive at a nice warm temp when getting a shower, no valet parking, no room service. If you want that go pay $148-$208 nite at one of the chain hotels. This is a cozy, clean, safe place to sleep amongst the shadows of the high-rise, high-cost hotels. Nice area to enjoy the same shopping, restaurants and beaches as the people who feel to high class to find this fair priced alternative.

Ive stayed here twice and love it! It is close to everything! Beach is behind hotel. Free Parking! I love this little Hotel! Not alot of people! I will go back again and again! I will tell all my friends to go there too! ❤❤❤❤

When we arrived to our room the AC was not on it felt like a sauna inside the room the front desk clerk said it would take approximately 45 minutes for the room to cool down. The room also had a ceiling fan that did not work. Also no running hot water. Location is great could have had better service.

Stayed for 3 nights with my family. The hotel was easy to find and it had restaurants, fast food places, souvenir shops, and pharmacies a walking distance away. The beach was also walking distance and there was a car rental place across Isla Verde Avenue. Parking was free, but its use is "at your own risk. " The staff were very nice. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, really comfortable. The place seemed to be a big house that was turned into a hotel. There was a nice, shared kitchen area with a table with four chairs, sink, toaster oven, refrigerator, and microwave. My only not-so-positive experience was with the towels; they were rough, but overall this is minor. If I had the opportunity to stay again in Isla Verde/Carolina/San Juan, I'd definitely stay at the Borinquen Beach Inn.

Everything is very close, the beach and for shopping is great, the place nice and clean.

My week from April 23 to the 30 was excellent. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Love the available parking and security. Excellent assessment for the beach and stores, close to the airport in less that 15 minutes. The bed was comfortable and clean! I'm planning to go back in August!

Nice place. Room was very clean. Right next to the beach in a nice area of Puerto Rico. Water pressure was low in shower. Overall, I was satisfied for the place.

Basic hotel. My room has a window opening on to the internal hallway, but it was quiet.

I didn't even get the chance to stay here because their online registration and customer service is awful. I booked my reservation through their website. I never got a confirmation email. I called the hotel to verify they got my reservation. I was told they person who is "in charge of the computer" wasn't there. They said they took the note down and would get back to me. After no response, I called back a week later. Same thing. The computer guy wasn't there again. My note was taken, and they said they would get back to me. A few days later after still no response, I went to their contact us section of their website and submitted my issue. Another few days go by… nothing. I'm pretty upset at this point. I have my boyfriend call, since apparently I am not being taken seriously. He calls and finds out today (two weeks after my first call) that there are no notes to be found and also no reservation. They told him how he could make a reservation over the phone, but that they will charge his card then not after our stay. Now I am concerned with the fact that this negligent company possibly has my credit card information on file from my original reservation. For all I know, they might charge us a cancellation/no-show fee since I did make a reservation on their website. I'm frustrated to say the least. Awful customer service. I'm glad we won't be staying here.

Don't book with this hotel. Don't book with this hotel. Dont book with this hotel. My flight was cancelled due to the blizzard the night before, I cancelled the reservation ASAP. But they charged me $ 105. I called them to waive the cancellation penalty fee, they don't want to. So if you don't want pay the $105 penalty fee when you have to cancel the reservation, then Book with hotels that has free cancellation. They would charge you whenever they have the chance. dont book with this hotel. You will regret it.

The Hotel's staffs are friendly and helpfull. Our Room was perfect and comfortable and clean. The area "Isla Verde" is beautiful and has a amasing beach. We loved this place and the people too over there. Thank you for the great time. We will come back again for sure.

(The Good) 30 second walk to beach. (The Bad) Not ideal unless you have no plans to sleep. The other guests can easily distract with their noise, and the street noise is terrible also, especially at night.
